Something else I noticed: Nami's "crown" looks a lot like Perona's…seems like Oda's doing a bit of foreshadowing on this cover to this arc (seeing how people say "Luffy's skull = Brooke")
There are quite a few characters even from Blue's time that do need updates. Last I remember, Blackbeard was mentioned as "Cherry Pie Man" in the last book...

Right. At the beginning of the Jaya arc she was also literally reading the skull that fell from the sky. It most definitely fits with hear analyzing history theme to be the one to hold the skull in her hands.

Well if it makes you feel any better, Nami's crown is quite a bit different from Perona's.
How in the blue hell can you say Nami wearing this crown is a foreshadowing of her fighting Perona? This is just like with Robin and the skull, a crown fits the character of Nami as she loves money and gold and all that jazz. She was holding a crown in the giant snake's belly back in Skypiea and was wearing one on vol 32 cover as well.
There's only so many ways you can draw a damn crown too.
God, this hilarious speculation on the cover's hidden meanings reminds me of a title age mid-Water 7, of Robin holding a map and sitting on an ostrich wearing a Taxi cap, wearing a sign around his neck that said "PLEASE WAIT UNTIL THE NOON." Some genius was talking about how the sign on the ostrich's neck was talking about the clock striking midnight (when Aqua Laguna was coming I think) and how around that time would be Robin coming back, and how she was really holding the Pluton blueprints in her hand.

I thought that the only thing forshadowed was that they would encounter characters like Brooke and Perona, nothing to do with the fights. But I do admit now that crowns are just treasure…and its ironic Nami is wearing one..and Perona has a different one.

The shiny gold color looks flippin sweet and so does Franky. Even though he would have clashed with the scan color yellow, the real thing is oh so much better.

Includes a reversible mini-poster. One side is the cover of 32 and scenes of Merry from the series with "Thank you Merry" at the bottom. Other side is Luffy from cover of 41 (I believe) and a bunch of English like: "Luffy's New Power! Gear!" etc. Nothing special but a nice touch. And now I'm gonna get into the real stuff. In the forms of various 'reports' we see that Sanji was either showing his heart face, was under the influence of the Awa Awa Fruit, had his face being blocked out by someone else or was kicked in the nuts at the moment. The picture that was supposed to be his was when they got over the EL Main Island Gate but of course the lens cap was on.
