The editing was'nt really bad from a point as if I was a viewer that NEVER seen the original One Piece. I would've belived what I saw. Of coarse I've seen the japanese episode so I know how bad this dub episode was. But I doubt much people who never saw the origianl episode and saw the dub's catch notice of what they missed.

Well… I get what you're saying; that a person whose first exposition to One Piece, is with the dub wouldn't think it's that "bad." But the editing takes away alot of the "magic" and "charm" that the original had, if you know what I mean. The analogy of a steak was used before, and that's exactly what it is... without the little details, and moments that direct the viewers emotions, it's just a simple, garbage, shounen series, no matter how old the viewer is. The way the original took your emotions and played with them in a good way making you feel for the otherwise boring characters makes it stand up and in my opinion exceed all the other shounen series it rivals.
So yes, the dub isn't "bad", in that it keeps important plot points (as far as WHAT HAPPENS, not what has happened) and that the characters keep all there names, it's just unenjoyable considering the emphasis of One Piece is the characters and with 4kids giving no real reason to grow attached to them, there's no real reason to watch it.
