i live in italy, and they send back not one but 2 packages (sanji pop and the going merry) because "they don't have the CE mark"
toys coming from japan don't have that mark, so i have to hope to don't find the same controller next time :getlost: -

Wow…really sorry to hear that. Hope that whoever sold you those P.O.P.s doesn't think that you're returning them. If you were able to get a tracking number or still saved your order number, shoot that store an e-mail letting them know what happened. And just to reiterate, that really sucks.
this is what i did and the store told me when they receive my package they will contact me (my package has a tracking number like that i knew where it was)

bleh… so about 3 weeks ago I was on my Kansai sightseeing tour (meaning I was in the Western part of Japan, away from Tokyo) where I lost my wallet. I immediately cancelled my bank cards, just to be safe (although it was unnecessary as my wallet was returned, with everything including ~$250 intact, later that day), and as a result, all my preorders got screwed over. Toys Logic now seems to have no record of me preordering the Usopp P.O.P., because they probably cancelled my order straight away when the card was rejected...
Although in retrospect it's not that bad. I was going to pay about $55 for Usopp, including shipping, but now I can just go into Tokyo and pick it up for around $40, and carry it home.

.I did have that complete set, but I sold the ones I didn't like. I tried to cut down my collection, but there are still a lot of things I want/like..so for me, that's only ok if I absolutely love everything I have
.No problem. I can understand how you feel..I've spent a lot on bootlegs too :getlost:. I wasn't really that careful back then, but now I think I know what to look for..I haven't gotten any more bootlegs since.
If they're really cheap, only show stock pictures, don't list the manufacturer, or if the figures don't have any packaging, they're probably bootlegs. Especially if the seller's in Hong Kong or China. It's best to look at their feedback carefully, since a lot of buyers out sellers who have bootlegged items.

Oh, maybe there are others you haven't seen then! I took most of the pictures from the official candy site, but of course, I didn't include the ones I already have.
I'm planning to make a website with my collection, but it won't be for a long while. For now I only have some pictures here, but it's really out of date..that's probably only 1/3 or less of my collection, and I've sold some of the things pictured.
I'll see if I can take a picture of everything together soon, but it'll be hard, since I don't have anything on display (don't have room for everything at the moment).
The ones in the same style, in my opinion, are the gashapon swings/straps made by bandai. The only trouble is, some of them can't stand on their own :getlost:.

hmmm… so I went looking for Sanji/Robin POP today (as I said I would) and wound up finding Zoro for just 3800 yen. Couldn't pass up that opportunity.
