**Here's more of my rambling:
-Luffy voice sounds better in Japanese than… Most main charaters in Japanese are mostly girls, with high pitch annoyimg voices, I hate it and they all sound the same. Like nails on a chalk board. Shutter
-Zolo really sounds like Sean schemmel to me, because when they yell they both sound the same. That voice is good too...
-Nami okay as is, but I bet her voice in Japanese is super irritating.
That high pitch voice I'm talkin' about...Shutter
-Usopp should sound better in Japanese. His voice as Sonic sounds like he ran into the brick wall of puberty, then the wall falls on him...
-Sanji still sounds cool to me, but I bet he sounds better in Japanese though. Describe it to me...
-Chopper should sound like morty, I can picture it in my head. But if its a manly deep voice or rough, that would be just disturbing...Shiver
-Robin...let me see... how bout....ummm, it'll probably be new, or 4kids will be cheap and make it Rouges, but it'll be fine...

You know, I wouldn't put it past 4Kids to do that, to Chopper, since they made Meat-kun (Kinnikuman Nisei/Ultimate Muscle) sound like a fat ol' truck driver, called Phil.
And personally, I found Luffy slightly annoying first, but 4Kids' National Anthem, with Luffy in it, pushed me over the edge.
"Or the REEEEED parts we WATCH!" That's one thing I really hate about Luffy's dub voice. There's always just random emphasis thrown onto words, and they're usually the screeched-out words. For instance, "Red" turns "REEEEEED".
Now, the main problem with 4Kids, is that they'll use a girl's voice for a boy, okay, getting onto anime tracks, but then, the girl is usually the same person (usually Veronica Taylor, or the voice of Mokuba, and most other 4Kids anime boys with that voice), and they always put a rasp into it, to try and sound like a boy. Now, that is annoying. Just listen to all the voices, and see how they rasp. It's almost sexist.
Zoro, I'm not too bothered with, since I can't see how it's too deep for him. I mean, Zoro's original voice is really gruff and low too. Much lower than his dub voice.
Nami's original voice is pretty good, and I think that Kerry Williams did a quite good job on it. Perhaps, if she ditched the hint of valley-girl, it would be perfect.
Now, Usopp… To quote Johnny Depp, as Willy Wonka, "Okay, eww."
I could tolerate it slightly, again, until I noticed how much his pitch changes. There's also the hint of retarded-ness, when he sings in the National Anthem. "Dey FLOO thru da NY-It." That's pretty much how it works. Everyone knows how bad it is, so I won't continue.
Sanji, again, "Eww." This is not our French cook, who believes women and food should be treated with love and care, but some Maffia man, who makes me hate 4Kids even more, for stereotyping.
Now, onto other voices I have analysed:
Shanks- I actually sorta like Shanks' voice. And for once, I kinda like the accent they gave him. Usually, I hate it, but Shanks doesn't completely over pronounce everything. Actually, he sounds a tiny bit like Michael Cain, except higher.
"And weeyer going to end it." I can imagine Michael Cain saying that line exactly the same.
Don Krieg- Alas, this is not the voice I thought it would be. I was thinking it was gonna be Mars/Eskara/Scar Face, from Kinnikuman Nisei/Ultimate Muscle. Instead, it's actually the voice of Mantaro (also from Kin Ni) and Otogi doing the voice of Mars. I kinda like, but kinda hate it too.
Koby- GAAAAH!! He's the reason I hate the first episode of One Piece. He's too screeeeeechy. More so than Luffy. "You can't be a pirate, blah, blah..." All the time, I was thinking "Shut up, shut up, shut up!" It's Luffy cloned, and made worse.
Helmeppo- Nice. I like this voice, for this character. Just right. A whiny guy, who depends on his father to sort out his trouble, when he abuses his power. I also like the way he made a pun on the world being flat, because around the One Piece time era, people probably would have believed it.
Johnny- Only time I like his gruff-ness, and his "Oh no!" voice, as I like to call it. If you've seen Dan at his worst, on Yuugiou's dub, you'll know what I mean by "Oh no!" The gruff voice kinda fits Johnny, especially his "You're a doll" comment.
Kuro- I thought this voice was gonna be Tanaka from Sonic X. I would kinda liked that. But I found the real Kuro's dub voice much too whiny, yet just about right for him.
Mihawk- I was thinking for God-damn sure, that they would use a Hispanic accent on Mihawk. He looks like it! The "Rrrrio" voice, from Shaman King, done by none other than Sean Schemmel, would have gone well here, in 4Kids standard. Guess they couldn't get him.
