@pirateneko:
I'll post a list as soon as I find them amongst the unpacked things in my room lol or did i just hide them from my mom….
Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. And I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I only keep the all-charas out on the coffee-table. The "x"s are discretely hidden elsewhere. Only a few like-minded friends know about those …
Oh, hey, in quickly checking YahooJapan just a minute ago, I discovered an amusing doujin cover -- Local, this one's for you. And remember, the second half of the famous quotation about blondes and gentlemen is: "...but they marry brunettes"

And here's one for Bee, to cheer her up: it's Penguin T., and a very fun cover at that:

And the obligatory Hachimaru cover – this being the very first in her "package" series, created in 1999. Interesting to see how both her style and Oda's have evolved over time, since she follows his work so closely.

On the back cover of "Ichioku" it looks like Zoro has his new sword
Hey … You're right!
SWEET!
I think that may be the first time I've seen Shuyu (did I spell it correctly?) in a doujin.
To be honest, it's going to take a while for me to warm up to Shuyu's flowery hilt -- but I really like the patterns on the scabbard and everything else about it.
@Liann:
本 or ほん means "book" (hon)
同人誌 or どうじんし means doujinshi
@Bee's:
To my limited knowledge of Japanese, hon usually refers to "book".
So seeing as how it's doujinshi hon, it might make sense. I'd like to wait for a second opinion though :p.
Liann, Bee – thanks for your detective work. I have no idea what "hon" means in reference to doujins, but once I get a definition that's authoritative, I'll add it to definitions list in the FAQ.
