Time to start off my day by venting, wheeee
I have some problems with both of my parents. My mom has this ancient cast iron griddle that belonged to my great grandmother, whom my mom has fond memories of. When she first taught me how to cook on a griddle, she taught me how to clean it off, and said that since it's so old, I need to remember to clean it off right after I use it, since it's a piece of history, it belonged to her grandmother, etc. Fast forward to this morning, and she's left it in the sink to rust. Like she does every time she uses it. She keeps saying about how it holds a special place in her heart, yet she doesn't give a damn about it. It irritates me to no end.
With my dad, it's cups. Yes, cups. See, my dad is a cheapskate freeloader. It's ok at times, he brings home free soda, and lots of other interesting stuff, but most of the time he brings home free plastic cups. I even remember him going out one time to get some stuff form the store and calling home if we want anything. I asked for some Cokes(I always do, it's an addicition…) and jokingly said "no cups, please." So when he gets home and I open the door for him, he shoves a bunch of the little bitches into my hands and goes "DERP, brot you yer cups" I can't even put them away, I have to jam thim into the cabinet, where they usually fall out of anyway. And he can't bear to part with any of them, fishing them out of the trash if I throw them away.
My family's loads of fun
