This animation is really, really good. But I warn all of ye, it's really long. So don't make any plans for the next 20-30 minutes.

Best Flash Animation. EVER.
-
That truly is the best gaming flash ever.
Rumble Pak attack
-
Great. Truly great flash. I liked it how they kept the dialogue almost identical to ff6, and the music remix was good as well. But…Why all the Psp hate?
-
Because the PSP sucks a long hard cock.
Anyway, that was amazing.
-
Holy shit!
Mega Drive!
Mega CD!!
32X!!!
MEGA DRIVE TOWER

Yeah, I loved all of the obscure old systems (PSP really being a Pocketstation? HAHA!).
I saw it the other day when I friend hsowed it to me. I didn't know how long it'd be, I planned to get some food after I was done so I sat in my seat for like 20 minutes hungry.
-
Better then any flash I saw. most were drawn crappy. This is well done

**i'll just pretend you never said that..
but yeah this was really funny, way too long though -
yeah that PSP sucks kinda goes witout saying i mean every one already knows it^^

That was pretty awesome, though I'm not quite sure what to make of Shadow being played by the Virtual Boy. The X-Box being Umaro was a pretty nice touch.
I kept hoping that we'd see the 64DD Tool be used; they could have used Edgar's Bio Blaster animation to simulate it's awesome Vaporware powers. Alas, 'twas not to be.

Bah, the 20+ hours I've spent playing Lumines and Mercury disagree with you.
And the perfect port of Dark Stalkers also disagrees with you ._.
Funny stuff! But bring a pillow, it's a long haul.

I liked the thought put behind it, like the N64/Gamecube being the Figaro Brothers, and Strago being a Gameboy while Relm was a GBA.
As for the PSP, I'll buy it when they get some better games in, and when they fix all the crap wrong with it now.

Personally, I'm "meh" on PSP vs. DS. I'd get a PSP if I had enough cash and some really interesting games came out…and they improved the battery life. Just like I'd get a DS if I had enough cash and if they released the Castlevania game they announced.
And I love the fact that the PS2 played the role of Gesthal and the PSP as the always awesome Kefka. Plus, the summon spell "The man in Green" is the greatest.

the battery life believe it or not is actually incredible… i played for like an hour and it still had 6 hours left on it
u can set the brightness and volume and all that and if u dont have everything maxed out which is really unnecessary it lasts forever
-
I don't know what people's problem with the PSP battery life is.. it's, like 6 - 8 hours. It's three hours if you have the wi-fi turned on… and there's not much of a reason for that yet.
I haven't had any problems with my psp at all. It's an incredible machine.

Just because there isn't much of a reason for the wi-fi yet doesn't give Sony an excuse to have the battery die after three hours. Suppose you are doing a little bit of marathon gaming with the PSP?

If I have any problem with the PSP, it's the same problem as the one that I have with the DS: no games I really want, and they're too expensive for my tastes. (I REFUSE to buy a handheld more expensive than the consoles on the market.)
Once the next gen consoles come out with their first generation of crappy games, the prices of both should drop and there should be games I want for both, so I'll wait till then.

Damn, it was long. O_O
Xboooooooooooooooooooox :D

**THAT I can agree with. The games are very pricey, but they're actually decent. These games are as pretty, or close to as pretty, as ps2 games. Lumines was a good buy for me, since I love puzzle games though. I'va already gotten 15+ hours of fun out of it, and it's absolutely addictive.
I'm also a total sucker for Darkstalkers, and the port that was released for the PSP is perfect.. albiet mercilessly hard.
There's also two of us that play it, so between us, it wasn't hard to find games that we wanted out of the 10 - 15 or so that were released. He likes Metal Gear Ac!d and Wipeout, I love Lumines and Darkstalkers. We also picked up Mercury, since it's a puzzle game (And a damn mean one). It'll be a while before we need anything else, but in the meanwhile, we've picked up games that we enjoy.
Also, aside from playing games, it's also an MP3 player… 10+ hours of life playing MP3, that's two hours longer than an ipod. And if you get a good stick of Ram (We picked up a 512, since it works in the PSP AND our camera) you can get a decent amount of anime downloaded to watch. After converting the episodes, we can fit four episodes of anime on that stick.
All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. I'm not saying everyone should run out and buy it, but I do think people should actually have some experience with the machine before saying it's crap.

Yeah, I see what you mean. However, myself not being much of a puzzle/fighting gamer and being more of an RPG/Adventure/Occasional Stealth Action gamer, the only game in the launch lineup that interested me was Metal Gear Ac!d, and that one game does not justify the cost of a console. As for the MP3 player… I already got one. A 40 Gig Creative Nomad. And I love it. So, I'll just play the waiting game.
On a side note, when I was checking out a RPG news site, I found it very amusing that there are more RPGs announced for the DS than there were for the PSP. Granted, one of the RPGs for the PSP might very well be enough for me to warrant buying the thing once the price drops (Tales of Rebirth, hopefully it comes here.)
