Yes, now that FUNi has announced going with Blu-ray. I wanna know if they may release eps 207+ in that format as well as movies (ESPECIALLY MOVIE 6 DAMMIT!).

The one thing I can still see people complaining about is the support character's voices. Oda approved the Straw-Hats Kirb said, not the other characters. I can see it now: "Wyper sounds like Clint Eastwood! FAIL!!"

I have idea if Oda had anything to do with the 4kids voices, but I doubt it because I doubt they'd want his approval. I heard some Toei people heard them, that's it.

I was suggesting that the idea be proposed because FUNimation has said that they will be going with Blu-Ray as a company (not for OP… I never said OP. Hence the reason I want it to be asked).

Also, someone stating how they want Oda involved in the dub to the point of voicing Odachi in the soccer special.......he can't, he doesn't speak english, or even understands it I believe.
They can always have someone translate it in english for him and just have him memorize the lines.

It sounds familar, but I forgot where I heard it. Cause, while having Oda approved voice actors sounds good–is it really? Oda's not a voice director as far as I know. Of course, it's most likely good.

I've always liked the idea of David DeLuise as Franky.
I personally think Chris Rager will voice Blackbeard as opposed to Franky. I just have a hunch.

By approved cast, I think it means Oda approved of the cast FUNi put together, and that Oda himself actually didn't pick out voice actors.

FUNi will be announcing their first Blu-Ray releases at Comic Con. As for what they're releasing, it's whatever Toei gives them. They are using fan opinions and message boards for evidence to back up the names they are going with (since all names have to be Toei approved), so hopefully they/we can get Toei convinced to send them the widescreen HD episodes.
Wrong, Broly double pack was already announced. Hence first announcement will not be there.
They said that they'll use whatever footage they're given, but that it will likely be the version it was originally made for (don't quote me on that, it's 1:30 am right now and I'm tired).
