Dude, you're like the biggest blind advocate on the forum.
Pretty much
arguing with mangafan1 is like arguing with a piece of wood, except he's not as articulate.

I love this man.
In a totally hetero-way.Naruto got gay halfway through the Kakuzu/Hidan arc.
-
No the gayness was planted long before and has fully grown into some sort of gigantic dick-eating Audrey II-esque Fagplant
-
It was gay ever since Naruto showed us a ten year old boy can be the sexiest most well-endowed woman in the series.
-
Naruto obviously made that jutsu just for Sasuke.
-
Lol..Naruto being gay for Sasuke, nobody's ever said that before.
Needs moar Ryu.
-
I seriously doubt it'll take 200 more chapters for 4 villians to die. It'll probably take maybe 15(each) for Tobi and Kisame and Blue haired girl. And then like probably 35 for Al and Itachi.
So that's only 125 chapters to go.
That's still three more years though…
(Note: For the 15/35 chapters I counted the build up and stuff, not just the battle scenes.)
-
You guys are forgetting about Zetsu, unless he was briefly insta-killed by Sasuke and I missed it
-
Oh…oh yeah...
Well he barely gets any screentime/attention from fans so it's kinda not hard to forget about him.
-

YOu forgot about kabuto tho. Unless he died of fail offscreen.
-
I don't count him as a threat. I very much support the idea of AL slaughtering him.
But still even with Zetsu and possibly Kabuto that still is 3 years.
edit: Wow I just realized I spelled villain wrong. Wow.
-
I can't possibly see it last 2 more years. I'd say he maybe has two arcs max left, we're currently dealing with the Sasuke/Itachi stuff, once it's all over he should handle the Naruto's past/AL introduction arc, and then it's over. I think he'll shoehorn all remaining Akatsukis in the final arc, afterall he already dealt with Orochimaru and Deidara, maybe even Tobi after Hidan and Kakuzu, so 4 instead of 2 it's no big difference.
-
Considering there's lot stuff to show yet, I would say the same number of chapters Tony-Kun said, 250.
Lets see, before Kabuto revelation, the only villians were Akatsuki and Team Hebi, but now there're more villians, without forget that the six remaining Akatsuki are the most strongest of the organization. Look at this, if Deidara has been able to do as much, imagine how must be the others. And Akatsuki have a plan, right? And it not started yet. Seeing that, say 250 chapters is not exaggerated.

You know from this quote alone I've figured something out about mangafan.
He honestly believes Naruto is more complex than it actually is… Pretty sad....
-
With that lot stuff to show, why not? I have no idea, but it can be more complex than I imagined.
Uh? A thread about NF? What happened?
-
I don't really think any shounen series is really "complex", but that also depends on what you mean when you say complex.
-
Uh? A thread about NF? What happened?
you didn't read the OP i assume?
I think Team Gai still has one more arc left. At least, I will be so pissed if they didn't. But Kisame is still out there, so that gives me hope.
-
Kisame will probably end up defeated in one chapter and a half by Suigetsu.
-
So did you finish Sasuke Sparrow yet?
I've got a lot of other stuff to do, but I'm working on it, definitely using Jacksparrows hair, gotta find good body jewelry tho. Also like to say, Zetsu will and always will be my favorite Akatsuki.
-
Kisame will probably end up defeated in one chapter and a half by Suigetsu.
Err, as one of the strongest Akatsuki I would say more than one and half chapter. I prefer Lee to be the one who defeat him.

As much as we want more flukes like Shikamaru vs. Hidan, I doubt that's going to happen so late in the game. The rest of the former rookies, the rest of the village, the rest of any other village doesn't even matter anymore. The only ones who will even do anything super-crucial against Akatsuki are the "Neo-Sannin" (Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura) and those associated with them (Kakashi, Jiraiya) at this rate.

What happens with Gaara?:getlost: I want to see what he can do without his bijuu. Zetsu would be a real challenge for him.
Another possibility would be different teams vs each Akatsuki, for example: all kunoichi Vs Blue Hair.
-

Weren't you a while ago 100% sure that Deidara would survive and fight against Gaara?
-

Gaara is thematically dead. I wouldn't count on him having any importance at all anymore.
I figure the current arc is probably third- or second-last in the series. If you want a big final arc, you're going to need a couple of Akatsuki members left alive, or otherwise it gets lame (well, lamer than it already is right now, which surprisingly is possible). This arc will probably have Kisame die yet, leaving five. Itachi will probably beat Sasuke again. Then the final arc will be really long, 60-70 chapters maybe, with the last five Akatsuki having gotten the other bijuu and making a big push to catch Naruto and then Team Snake and Kabuto getting involved, and there all the final showdowns can be resolved - Sasuke vs. Itachi, Kakashi vs. Tobi, etc, etc. So I say roughly another 100 chapters until the end. It'll end at somewhere around Chapter 450-500.
If there is a Part 3, I quit.
-
Yeah, but didn't expect the events of the last chapter.

Err no, there's a lot stuff to show yet, I say around 500-600. The current arc is about Team Konoha vs Team Hebi after Sasuke vs Deidara.
An I count Gaara of course. Gaara, Lee and others who should fight again.
-
Gaara's story is over. He may still have an alliance with Leaf but he did what he was supposed to. He got over his demons and Shukaku no longer is within him. While he may still have an impressive fight in him, he couldn't even defeat Deidara WITH his bijuu! (let alone only beat Kimimaro because he died of his disease)
Personally I would love to see Tsunade, Gaara and all the kages come together to conference and figure out how to stop Akatsuki from destroying their ways of life, leading to an all out war between them and all the major villages..but that's never going to happen either. Leaf is the only village that matters to anything in this story…heck, even when someone from Lightning fought, it was only to get crushed by Hidan's curse.
-
Hm, never know. We don't know what will happen, so some people can say Gaara or other characters has no matter in the story but suddenly, slash, they can appear again and fight with naruto and company.
And asking about a possible war, yes it can be possible or obvious considering Akatsuki's objective is collect money, create and army of powerful shinobis, use the bijuus and finally dominate the world. All that things = War between all villages vs Akatsuki, that would be the final arc.
-
Anybody else notice that Mangafan1 is basically the only person who is really "into" Naruto?
-
@Cyringohn:
Another fight for Lee, so he can lose? Okay.
Exactly the reason why I think he still has one more fight in this manga. He's pretty much played up as one of the main side characters (he was in movie 3 for pete's sake), so you know, I think he's not done yet.
-
Like this?
Open the doors!!
IMO neither mainly character is done yet.

No, basically I predict what can happen using spoilers from previous chapters and try to explain why I think that.

uhhh thats what the entire topic is about….

You say that like thats some superpower that only you have, when basically everyone whos ever posted in this topic can do that.

But you said that, so it's not my fault.

SOOOOO many characters are dead story wise.
Lee should be crippled for life.
Neji should be dead
Chouji should be dead.Which is why they have little to do in the series. They reached their peaks development wise a LONG time ago.
-

This isn't a reason to not appear and fight again. I'm kept in what I said. Hopefully I'll see Lee opening the eight doors some day.
-
I guess.
Probably the last arc will have all the teams in play again against kabuto and his new minions or whatever.
-
Do you mean Kabuto is going to make his own army of subordinates?
And who would fight vs the six most strong Akatsuki? Naruto vs AL and Sasuke vs Itachi is obvious, but who would fight vs the other four?
-

Only way I see other teams getting final fights.

that's the very basis of naruto, nearly every jutsu is stupidly supposed to be dreadful but in the end, deus ex machina does the trick.
-
I don't see what that has to do with my post.
My point was that Rock Lee should have remained crippled, since he had already proven his ninja way(his whole purpose) chouji took a suicide pill and realized he had made true friends, and neji realized the error of his ways or whatever after taking a fatal shoulder wound from an arrow.
Them being healed was rather pointless. Only good that came from it was new material for the games…...kinda.

Yeah after all why else would Lee brought back only to STILL lose every fight he's been in? I mean Lee vs Gaara was one thing but man Kishimoto really drives the point home that hard work means nothing compared to the mighty sharingan.
-

True, Kishimoto's biggest mistake is that all his characters are really stopped be relevant to the series after the chunnin exams. They're all dead really, we only need Kakashi and his students now for this series plot to work.
However, there is one thing I'm looking forward to in Naruto–his next fight. With him now trying to stop using his kyuubi, and a ban on his ultimate move, I want to see how he's going to survive his next fight. Either Kishi will surprise us, or fail greater then ever before. So, why else is everyone watching this manga if they hate it so much. Tobi right?

Actually, I think the idea was hard work + natural advantage > just hard work. Of course, I'm probably one of the only people to think that Lee is a strong ninja despite his losses. What else to you call a guy who can wreck a concrete floor like that?

Kishimoto enjoys milking the series for as long as he can though. He's probably gonna make it like… Lee unlocks the 10th door! Never been done before! But Now him, Kabuto, and Iruka are back for another 200 chapter arc!

Breaking all kind of things stopped being impressive in the manga/anime world a long time ago since you always see guys breaking walls but when they hit someone it's either a minor injury or no effect at all.
And it doesn't matter if you are strong when the opponent is always stronger and you lose.A loser is a loser no matter how strong he is.
-

Don't blame the guy, this is surely another situation like the one of Oda, where he had already planned to end his series before it became way too popular for his own good.
Anyways, I'm still waiting for my volumes of Dragon Quest, so I was wondering if any of you could tell me if the whole Naruto's Hype actually originated from a decent storyline…
-
it originated from the Wave country arc
-

In anime/manga maybe, not in Naruto. It's diffrent standards for different works. In DBZ, no, that woulnd't be impressive. I dunno, I think the manga community is too rough on these characters, despite a bad record Lee's got talent. I think that's the point of the end of the Gaara fight, one of the things Kishi got right.
Also, isn't Lee losing against either incredible odds or against the strongest opponents available? Aren't the standards a little too high–not everyone can be number one. If that's true, then everyone but one person in the entire world is a loser. So, with that in mind he's a great martial artist.
Lastly, despite Lee's rep as a jobber, I wouldn't personally count his loss against Kiminaro against him. After all, the guy just got out of surgery! It'd be ridiculous to have him win a fight at that point.
-

considering the fact that naruto had bloody finger nails after digging a hole
no
