@Rai:
Ah.. so I go away for a little while, and people think Saul [YEAH SAUL] is Moria? :O
Oh oh, what will you do without me? :D
I dunno if that's true or not, but it's certainly possible as long as no DFs are involved with the story. Only having Saul to contain a dude's shadow. Strong dude's.
I personally don't think so. Ohara was like a taboo country. West Blue isn't that small to have a pirate crew sailing around just like that. They should know it's Ohara and that it has no more lives or anything important around.
Other than that, I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Brooke said he'll explain after all, and following the pattern of the past chapters we should have a nice 7-8 pages for that.
Well, both Moria and Saul are from West Blue. It was specifically said by Brooke, too, that Thriller Bark was from West Blue. Why would Hogback have a giant pirate ship? Thriller Bark is Moria's, not his. Moria is referred to as the master, not Hogback, and in addition, Hogback has a disfiguring scar as well, indicating that he, too, is a zombie. In fact, the only two that don't show signs of reanimation are Perona and Absalom. Although Absalom has scars where his mouth was replaced with a lion's muzzle, he stated quite clearly to Lola that he is indeed human, and not a zombie. It's probable he simply got injured and had to replace his mouth. Because we have not seen Moria's face yet, it's entirely probable he's a zombie himself.
And Ohara wasn't always known as a taboo nation, that was simply a lie by the WG. Giants live a lot longer than humans, so it's entirely possible that Moria went there after the BC to recover the knowledge left behind (to use it for his own means, good or bad) or simply to claim his brethren. Saul is from West Blue as is Moria, too. As Boiga pointed out, their dental structure is exactly the same (round teeth, as opposed to Dorry, Broggy, Oimo and Kashi, who all had flat teeth), and Saul specifically stated that he's been to the Grand Line, but is not from there.
While I doubt that Moria is Saul, it's a pretty fair bet that they're both related as West Blue Giants.
