@Cap'n:
I'd like you to know that you probably jumped into Naruto at the most crazy-ass time in the series.
Then again, things get pretty wacky later on, but for most of the first series, yeah that was pretty weird.
meaning bad or good?

Good, since it's often considered to be one of the best points in the Naruto series.
Yeah that was a good weird. The stuff later on is a "bad weird."

Yea, its all downhill from there actually. You jumped on at the peak of the series.
I cant believe we had a discussion on the "coolness" of characters in here tho. lol. That just seems completely pointless.
Meh, the rescue Sasuke arc is pretty good. The sound five fights were pretty cool. But the ending of the arc is where Naruto started to fail. God I hated that fight. And after that you have fillers… I wonder if they'll even bother dubbing those.

Yeah, if I'm correct, it's the part two arc that really begins to suck, right? The long Sasori fight, Naruto fighting a bunch of people with no conclusion, and a rather drawn out and inconsequential Sai arc.
I mean, so what if this guy has no emotions?! That's no line to end a chapter on! And pull up your pants, kid!

You mean in the manga or the anime? I loved the Naruto/Sasuke fight in the anime, but from what I've heard it was pretty boring in the manga.
Chase Sasuke was bad allright. But it was more like suddenly you looked around and realised Naruto was leading you into a dark alley all of a sudden.
Its the "wait a minute dude, where are we going?" arc.
As for the new chapter. HMMMMMMM.

I started reading the manga when fillers were almost done. I haven't even read the Sai/Yamato arc. So basically all I've read is the team 10 arc. So I wouldn't know about the Naru/Sasuke fight in the manga, but the fight animated was incredibly corny to me. I just hate Seal 2 Sasuke's design. It reminded me of a DBZ fight (which when its actually DBZ, its fine, but Naruto =/= DBZ)
But I love watching the side characters fight. It's why I liked the Team 10 arc.

You know, I'm pretty sure that is the point of that arc. It's a dark alley, as in a dark turning point for the series.
Of course, I think a lot of people just hate this twist cause they don't care for Naruto/Sasuke, which bugs me cause that's one of my favorite fights. People let character fandom wreck one of Naruto's two or three best storylines.
I love the fact that even though the last chapters were supposed to be about Sasuke and his goal for revenge against his brother but
he was basically saying to Oro the entire time "Well my big brother could kick your ass"
since him and Itachi are the only 2 Uchiha left…

Twist? Sasuke leaving?
That almost next to nothing to do with why it sucked.
And no, thats not what I meant. Naruto goes downhill in that arc and has never recovered. That was just the dark turn ito low quality.
Apologies if this has already been answered but where do you guys grab decent scanlations of the latest chapters?
Are there any group that release as fast as we get the new OP chapters?
Cheers
Raven.
Narutofan.com is pretty damn fast.
This weeks chapter, and the latest chapters were, IMO, quite well done - wondering who's controlling Sausage was a nice cliffhanger.
But the way I see it, it's most likely a partially merged character with Oro in control (making him evil). Because:
1: If either finished like this, it would be unfitting, unclimatic and just, off.
2: It would make Naruto go even more "Yaaargh!! Must save Sasuke!"
3: The power of Sasuke and Narutos friendship will save Sasuke, and Naruto will bring him back from the Majin Buu like Oroworld
But we'll see eventually, propably in a year or so.
Heh, with the latest chapters Bleach passes the "merged character, who's in control!?" Dilemma onto Naruto. Funny that.
My theory: Neither one is controling Sasuke. It's an empty zombie.
Good call Impel Down. Wait a second…. that's old news.
I kid! I'm betting on Orochimaru being in control of him right now, but Sasuke secretly did something his his Sharingan that allows for him to eventually regain control.

LOL. Agreed.
Although I even liked sasuke with his sword and stuff. I just want to play as him in Accel tho. Character wise, hes extremely boring.
and orochimaru in akatsuki robe fails. His chin looks weird, and he looks retarded.
That's why Itachi had to cut off his hand.
Actually, I think he cut it off because Orochimaru was attempting to steal his body.
No wait, you're right.
I hate you. I was kidding about "that's why he cut off his hand". Anyway, I don't get how Oro's snakes could have poisoned Sasukecoughemocough if they never bit him

Snake 'fumes' tainting the air. Or something like that. I'm still waiting for a spoiler that makes sense.
I had no idea snake fumes could taint the air. That's some crazy shit. Actually, I've always been taught that you can't get poisoned by them unless their saliva gets on you or you get bitten. I'm not biology expert, so don't quote me. I'd assume him getting poisoned is more of a plot filler.
And I believe the emo comments on Sasuke are unnecessary. That's quite obvious, along with Sakura and Hidan (flame shield activate!) and many characters (before they met Jesu… Naruto). I think emo might just be the theme of this anime. My jokes go by smoothly, or so I hope.
mangahelpers.com is your one stop shop for weekly jump releases.
phenominal…why does Hidan have a flame shield, Mr. Anbu?
From what I gathered while roaming this post and NF, Hidan and Kakazu (although moreso Kakazu) obtained a large amount of followers. Few went as far as to say they were the most interesting characters left.
Besides, I love shields. Especially those massive ones in 300, good stuff.
I wish Hidan had more development. They could explain his immortality, because Kishi isn't going to say an evil god gave it to him.
If he did that, people would be lusting for more backstories. Plus, it'd take a lot of time out of the story. It would definately be an interesting cover story, or possible a filler? One can only hope.
And he never explained his village! Oh my goodness, I forgot all about that!
Hidan was probably the most entertaining villain Naruto has had so far. He had a great design too.
edit: Well, there's been a number of fake spoilers already, as usual, but here's the first one that's actually believable.
! It's revealed that the one who remained was Orochimaru. Kabuto congratulates him on having succeeded in making his dream coming true. Orochimaru says that it's time to take down the Akatsuki and tells Kabuto to make the preparations for it. Kabuto goes to do so. The fleshy world of Orochimaru's conciousness is shown, and apparently Sasuke has been swallowed by the, err, meatly content there, but his eyes, showing the Sharingan are shown shining in the dark, sorta.
! Zetsu and a woman - Bluehair - are shown appearing in the Hidden Mist village. Zetsu says that the 7-tails are one of the members of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Zetsu remarks that Kisame apparently never knew about that. The woman tells him that they should go and get to work, sorta. Zetsu agrees.
! Team 7 is shown vising Asuma's grave. Kurenai & her team is shown being there too. Kurenai regrets that she can't be in battle from now on (due to her pregnacy, I'd say). She says that she'll teach Sakura genjutsu. Tsunade is shown gathering a number of platoons who are supposed to be used against Akatsuki. The Sand also partiparticles in these efforts.
I'm new here and can I ask this question?
If there is no One Piece this week will a Naruto chapter be out too or not?
There's still Naruto, yeah. Only One Piece is taking the week off.

that's amazingly believable. The only thing is: wouldn't the Sanbi be from the Mist, since it's a water biju?
Apparently Sauce won. He's releasing some T1000 like guy with the same haircut than Kimimaro from Oro's lab. Meanwhile Tsunade dissects Kakuzu and apparently Naruto's FRS destroys bodies at molecular level or some crap like that.
Lamest death ever for Orochimaru.
…is that some internet spoiler or did you actually find out...or did you just make your own theory?
That's the official spoiler, there's a couple of pics confirming it but I can't be arsed to post them. They're at Narutofan if you want to see them.
Damn. And I hoped that Orochimaru would have won that match.
I liked the spoiler Geg had sigh
Somehow I still think Oro is in Sasuke's mind, but he's dominant for the moment.
As for "liquid man"…well to continue the "Mysterio" train of thought from last week's Bleach, this would be Hydro Man :p
Or it's Kimimaro's clone.
The scene changes to Tsunade's group performing an autopsy on Kakuzu. Due to the effects of the new jutsu such as cells being completely destroyed and damage to his tenketsu, Naruto is prohibited from using the jutsu. And everything ends with a new character called "Suigetsu"* coming out from Orochimaru's hideout with Sasuke.
So Naruto can't use his new jutsu anymore. Hilarious. What the hell was the kage bushin training for then Kishimoto? He already couldn't use the FRS against Sasuke or he'd have killed him, but now he can't even use it against normal opponents cause it destroys his cells and he can't be healed. It's Jiraiya's two years long training for jack shit again.
He could use that fuuton rasengan he used with Yamato's water jutsu.
God, how anticlimatic. Oro can't be gone for good yet.
He's like Voldemort, he'll just use his soul to live in Kabuto's head.
No, Orochimaru will make his movement later.
Asking of the chapter: Wow! Kishimoto is unpredictable! Who would thought that Sasuke is the winner? Autopsy for Kakuzu, mmm maybe they'll find something interesting into his body.
But the most interesting part is the new character. His name is "Suigetsu" a guy made of liquid.
Here's the pics:

Who knows when Oro will returns because he'll returns for sure. The guy of the spoiler mentions that there's something interesting at the scene where it says "you should get the point".
A new character, this is increasingly interesting.
Is it in any way possible to make the pictures, I dunno, bigger?
Yeah, try moving the th out of the url.
No, Orochimaru will make his movement later.
Asking of the chapter: Wow! Kishimoto is unpredictable! Who would thought that Sasuke is the winner?
Raise your hand and say I.
I.
No, wich was unpredictable is the new character…and the autopsy. Down your hand, Le Lawliet, neither one expected this.
I'm not surprised that Sasuke is the winner. In fact was the most expected conclusion...and plans for the future to Oro.
neither one expected this.
Uh, I did.
Raise your hand and say I.
I.
