Yeah mean England? Because plenty of terriers breeds are from there I and have read they used them to hunt rodents and mustelidaes.

Because the author understands that this is a visual media and that he can show a lot of things without having characters spell it out to the audience. The evolution of the relationship between Denji, Aki and Power is a good example of that. We see how differently they started acting towards each other as they faced different situations throughout the story.

Wouldn't count them out quite yet, the youngest one survived and could pull some desperate move. And with the way this mangaka works, I wouldn't be too surprised if the blood at the end doesn't belong to the one we think it does.

Now that's an entrance indeed! Compared to Santa Klaus' rather tame opening, the Chinese lady is nonchalantly decapitating dozens of enemies, getting to Denji like it's nothing.
What's intriguing me now is how Aki managed to foresee her attack. I take it Future is Best :^)

Finally I know why this series irritates me every 2 weeks I read it. As a One Piece reader I'm used to get a banner under the new characters, so I know who that person is.
Here all the characters slightly look the same and get no introduction whatsoever and I always ponder if I'd seen him/her before. -

Makima could possibly be a necessary evil that is trying to block a much greater evil.

They can't hype Makima too much though otherwise taking her down won't be believable.
I do like Mr. Instructor though (was it Mad Dog Kishibe?). Reminds me a bit of Garp/Rayleigh in that he mainly seems to use techniques unrelated to devil contracts to win battles; quite nonchalantly at that.

^I don't feel like he will in this arc. Currently there's others stealing the spotlight (I totally enjoy those hand-to-hand fights we're getting lately) and Denji is just busy staying alive.
