@K.:
Cannot wait for Bellamy's flag to be brought into the spotlight. I can imagine him doing something like Luffy in Drum Island.
Is he considered part of the Grand Straw Hat Fleet or what? I don't remember him being part of any of the crews that made the oath. He doesn't have a crew of his own yet, either, does he? I wonder how his Jolly Roger will look now that he's emancipated from the Smile Pirates.
I guess what makes the Beast Pirates impressive is that the amount of headliners might be high. And if they range in strength from the worst generation to someone that would give the weaker Straw Hats a decent fight. I imagine the numbers are what eventually overwhelm the opponents. Not to mention that Jack is probably the weaker one among the Calamities, simply because he was the first one introduced. We can expect the other two have bounties higher than 1 billion. On the other hand, only Katakuri broke that benchmark. We can discuss the nuances of equating bounty to strength. However, for the target audience it is that simple.
Katakuri kind of struck me as the one who stayed close to home, so if his was 1B without having to go off and cause trouble, that's impressive. The Calamities, on the other hand, do seem to go out and throw their weight around so that probably plays a bigger factor in their bounties. But since they're rocking Zoan DFs rather than Paramecia, that raises their base strength tremendously, so even if they're not as tricky body-wise as Katakuri (not to mention probably not as gifted with Observation Haki), they'll be more physically imposing opponents.
I also cannot take this image off my head, where Momo commands Zunisha to do the same thing it did against Jack, but against Kaido. Kaido simply blocks it and throws Zunisha. I would love to see the reactions, especially Luffy's.
Or Zunisha decides to make a suicide attack to protect them and meets it end at long last. I see it somewhat like the funeral they had for Merry.
With how polluted Wano has become with the few exceptions here and there. After the war against the Beast Pirates, not to mention the Kaido has poison gas weapons which I am sure he would not be afraid of using. It would show his cruelty. I wonder how habitable will Wano be after this confrontation?
I think now that they know what the contingency plans the Beast Pirates have, they'll take precautions against letting that happen anywhere else. Besides, they've dealt with that kind of thing before (Don Krieg, Shinokuni) and it wasn't unmanageable. And they've got the perfect crew for sneaking about and sabotaging things to turn them back on the bad guys who want to use those dirty tactics. Maybe Caesar Clown will even show up and help out (Kaido is his next logical client to turn to for protection and profit, even if he isn't there just to provide assistance, albeit reluctantly.)
Shutenmary and the Atamayama thieves. I want to meet them next chapter.
Yes! Especially if there's a misunderstanding where Luffy and Zoro need to confront them in a hostile way before a proper introduction, just so we can see some of what they've got.
I love that Zoro immediately understood that Luffy wanted to take all the food. All those adventures together. This is the arc where we will see the Straw Hats go all out, break their limits. I am just itching to see that. Luffy's speed is crisp these days.
Zoro would have done the same thing, though, he's not a thoughtless jerk with no regard for others. His true feelings about taking that little girl's rice balls and gratitude for them after pretending to be mean so she wouldn't get in trouble were what tipped off Luffy that he was really a good guy, and that's all we should need to know he'd do the right thing here as well.
