! Anyone else feel like Daisy has taken a huge step backwards in character lately? Like…How is she able to be so oblivious about Deke having a massive crush on her? Also I'm still siding with YoYo. Ruby was not viable. Why has she deluded herself into thinking Ruby could have been stable? I'm not really liking Deke's whole motivation to do anything revolving around Daisy all the time either. If this goes into another season I hope they address that.
! Mack is also making me like him a whole lot less too. Ruby was an immediate threat. He really never sees the big picture. Like ever...and he holds grudges over dumb stuff.
! Is Gravitron a notable character? The name doesn't ring a bell. Too bad Glenn is coming unhinged in the paranoid douche canoe sort of way.
! At least the show makes a mention of the Thanos stuff. But I'm curious of the timeline. Is Thanos actually on the planet?

! We know from last week's episode that Squidward's attack in NY had happened, a maybe a few hours have passed since then. So i'd say it's probably taking place slightly before the Battle of Wakanda begins.
! I imagine -given there is only like 2 or 3 episodes left- that they are simply going to be taking place within the course of a few hours.

! You know, a part of me is thinking Daisy was playing dumb. I hope that's the case or she's just so wrapped up with her crap she doesn't notice.
! Graviton's a powerful baddie from the comics but I don't think he gets the recognition he deserves. He's also been teased since the show's first season. Gotta admit him being Talbot on the show is an interesting twist.

AoS S5 Ep20 - The One Who Will Save Us All

! Oh boy. This went about as well as could be expected. I like that it's like people have been speculating: Talbot is in control of the voices because he's trained for it. When he dismissed Ruby in front of Hale I thought she would shoot him (and thereby show us his invulnerability). She didn't but she still got gravitoniumed. I agree that she was a good character. Not sure why she backstabbed Coulson in the end though. Oh, and Talbot wants to extract more gravitonium from beneath the earth's crust to be capable of fighting Thanos. That'll do it, folks. I bet Coulson wishes he had taken some pictures of the broken earth.
! I really hope they're not going there with Daisy and Deke. She was creeped out by lemons, that was wonderful. And she's still on love with Lincoln. But then the hand holding? Not a fan. I am a fan of Fitz and Deke bonding. Just a little bit.
! When Daisy and YoYo fought I would have liked them to use their powers in more interesting ways. Daisy quakes but YoYo evades the wave and runs around Daisy to hit her. Next time Daisy sends vibrations in every direction to get Elena back. Then May can interrupt. Anyway, I agree with everybody that YoYo is right, Mack is wrong and Daisy has been kind of a hardass lately. Her only focus is saving Coulson and anybody who questions that is a traitor to the cause. 'Are you willing to let Coulson die?' Yes, abso-fucking-lutely when the consequences are too high. Maybe our agents wouldn't. But I'm not so sure about that.
! We get to see Kassius's father Kassius who is acutely aware of the genre. I love that he props up the green guy to get made an example of by Gravitonium. And he's in possession of Daisy now which is interesting. We haven't really seen anything in the future that would have come of that.
! Fitz builds the gravitonium into the Zephyr like he always does. Meanwhile Simmons is working on the concoction that might save Coulson's live. That's still the choice then. To let him die and break the loop. Maybe YoYo will just break his neck. That'll make me second-guess her…

! I'll also say Mack apparently did not really understand what sort of organization Shield is. Or think it over well. They've most definitely employed and used assassins. They are pretty much THE team that will carry out the less than pleasant tasks that need to happen. The greater good sort of folks. Just because his team has been through a lot of the weird stuff and now they try to act like a family from time to time doesn't mean they are removed from that. Or that that courtesy should extend to people trying to kill them. Ruby is old enough to be accountable for her actions. Her mental state was never really there and she couldn't handle a fraction of the power she wanted.
! I think I'm also a bit extra mad at Mack for being rude to Fitz about going along with Gemma and YoYo. Even though he wasn't in on their ruse.

Trailer for Luke cage season 2

There's a lot of stuff in there which makes me really cautious. Having a lot of stuff in there was kind of the problem of season 1.

Good trailer. Luke as the inspirational Netflix hero really sets him apart. It can work if they don't kill an interesting villain partway through the season.

Making Misty his investigating partner works and they can start Heroes for Hire. Heard Iron Fist will make a cameo. First, I thought he's not in the trailer to keep it secret, but if Daredevil was showing up they'd hype it up.

So I havent commented on shield in a while and I don't wan't to be the guy that comes only to criticize.

I really enjoy the last 3 chapters and there's really potential to make a great finale. While I could have dealt without the physical fighting I enjoy this conflict better than ignorance.

Also while Fitz is my favorite character and I 200% agree with him all the time

! Loops should be unbreakeable and sometimes you have to let go off the killing.

May is the real MVP of the last episodes. I don't agree with her yet her mix of professionalism mixed with personal struggle is so great I'm not even mad at her and even think they follow her example in how to handle shit.

About Mack

! He is an engineer and always more of a morale guy than the make the hard decision. kind. While I think he is being to harsh on the killing of an hydra agent I think his more they could have try to help her like Daisy rather than go straight for kill like Yoyo. I prefer the second option but I understand why Mack would prefer the first

! Ireally like that they used that threat for the show. It makes sense without distracting from the story. But I also hope the ending doesn't come in play until the last scene/scenes. I don't want it to interfere with Shield story and if the snap should affect the core team or it's just cheap.
! My personal wish is that the message Fury sent is to Coulson to go get Marvel and we see the message or just hear the biping in the last scene while Coulson is seeing the team disappear. Than he is back to movie land thanks to his reintroduction in Captain Marvel where the after credit scene is Coulson getting her from whereever she is.

! Seriously thought he would die. Funny how he went from badass dollar store Star-Lord to goofy sidekick. Hope he doesn't die at the end, but someone has to and my money's on him.
! Daisy's capture was a waste. I hope Kasius (sp) comes back next season if there's a next season. May and Coulson kiss was nice. Daisy's reaction, nicer. Thank goodness the Step-children of Thanos are gone. Lamest aliens in the Marvel universe. Creel's killed by his only friend, ouch.
! Okay, so a future version of a Shield agent warns everyone not to save Coulson. DON'T DO IT! …They're gonna do it, I just know it. Question is how?

Damn I made that quick summary because I thought this week was the finale.

So this week there were many good ideas with a meh execution resulting in a ok episode. The villain plot was interesting tho and it makes me interested for the finale.

! Criticsm:
! >! While I liked the little moment break the thing that sent her consciousness away it kind of seemed like they used a great plot device for a truly minor part of the plot. It was like renting a lamborghini to go towork on a regular tuesday. It's cool but why?
! The discussion about Talbot between May and Coulson felt a little tacked on. Which was a problem I had with a lot of the dialogue this week. A lot of clunky lines to remind us how far we came.
! Alien that have disdain for guns is totally fine with using bazookas to blackmail people.
! Why weren't Daisy and Deke the ones sent to deal with the ship? Daisy for dealing easily with Resistance, Deke for the numbers.
! I like scrappy Deke like from the lighthouse or last episode not marvel humor Deke.
! I am really disappointed that Fitz is suddenly on board with time can change. The facts didn't change and there wasn't some kind of big moment to make him change his world view. It's one of those thing where the audience love the characters so the character just match their belief even if it doesn't make sense. If that's how it was going to be I would have preferred if he belived he could be changed since the beginning.
! Also future Yoyo was way too vague. Yoyo suck at communicating relevant info no matter the age.
! I really love Talbot's story in this one. The man is just trying to make his family proud. That moment when he is in the house talking to his son and watching the news. It kinds of make me wish I hadn't seen IW yet so I can get the illusion he would make an appeareance and die in a way his son can see him do the right thing.
! I'm sad to see Creel go but it is interesting to see how he trusted Talbot until the end.
! I don't like main characters becoming romantically involved. In fact I hate but the moment looked nice. Although I think it would have been better served if after that they went to the jet together and the others went for the mission. A little we are sticking together from now on.
! That conflict about saving Coulson or not is the conflict I wanted rather than the ignorance thing so I am happy.
! Mack is talking much more reasonably than before.
! At this point the snap is definitely happening and they find an interesting to tied it in by tying it to Talbot struggle to do the right thing.
! I am definitely expecting that they will realize at the last moment the true meaning of Yoyo's words and it will tie to the whole Coulson putting the pieces together.

! Fitz got a Mack Moral Attack last episode. He's trying the ride the positive train. Guns and Bazookas are two completely different things, like ice cream and low-fat ice cream. Man, those stuntmenaliens sucked. At least main alien guy did something before he died.
! I don't mind the Coulson/May relationship. They seem to be not going about it like teenagers. I love you, you love me, okay cool, we still got work to do. A bunch of spies VS a supervillain, good finale premise right there. I hope everyone's at their best next week. Go nuts AoS, make it count.

It's only 13 episodes this time. But the (irrational?) hope is that Disney will put the show on their streaming service once that is ready which would be S7 onwards. At that point cancellation would be less likely. But we'd also be getting to a point where the show or the actors might just be done. So…

! Shield dealing with the fallout is easy to show, in my opinion. The world will be in total chaos. Evil people, organizations, and minor villains will try to capitalize on it. Then mix in the drama having their own group cut short and there we go.
! At this point, they could speculate whatever happened had to do with Thanos. Where they go from there? Don't know? Maybe learn about the infinity stones from Kasi…Kasaius (sp?)...that guy? Read something on Reddit and I'll go with that for now: They'll probably release season six near Avengers 4's premiere, so two-thirds of Shield deals with the fallout then the last episodes focus on the return and dealing with that season's big bad.

Last minutes thoughts before finale

! Naaah. You need them to be fully happy for the impact to be perfect. No doubt at all about loops or time travel. Perfect ending crushed by the disappearance of everyone except Coulson.
! You start the show with resurecting Coulson. You send it on Hiatus by having everyone else die. Full circle.
! You Gravitron dead, Coulson crack a joke and ask them if they want to go take a bite and then suddenly they hear an alarm. Something is hapenning outside several unexplained disappeareance. Fitz calls Gently for Jemma and she realize he is starting to disappear.
! May say "Coulson" with a worried face. You've watch the movie so you momentarily think Coulson is disappearing only to realize it is actually May. Until finally he is the last.
! He needs to be the only leaving for 2 reasons:
! 1- it is perfect irony with how he was the death they were all certain of and he is the only one to survive.
! 2- If you fold him into the MCU momentarily killing the whole team is perfecto not have to explain anything
! Imagine the scene where Cap ask him "Can't Shield help" and he answer "They are dead/Many of them died". It's a cliche line and normal line for movie watcher but a gut punch for someone who watched shield.
! If we have to have Balance I would love:

-May or Daisy:Emotional link to Coulson. You could easily kill one and fold the other with Coulson into the movie. Quake as a recent superhero or May as Coulson's Hill.
! If it's May she would need to be in Captain MArvel to have history so probably not hapenning. And they probably don't see the point in paying another actress with Daisy so probably no Daisy
! -Jemma: Emmotional link to Fitz. and everythime it's Fitz trying to save Jemmaand managing it. The one time time Jemma had to do it she failed(Framework). So considering it's not gonna be fixed by the show's character I prefer if Fitz is the one to fail rather Jemma once again failing when Fitz is the one to need help.
! -Mack:Emotional to Yoyo and brings back to Mack dying and sending Yoyo in a spiral. Sweet irony also.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 Episode 22 - The End

! It's still fresh in my heart and I'd have to rewatch some stuff but I believe this was the most emotional finale yet.
! The characters were top notch as they so often are. The confrontation in the beginning when the team was arguing about what to do with the Centipede serum was pretty great. I was still on Yo-Yo's side and felt for her feeling alone. Fitz was agreeing with her in theory but he wasn't an active part of the discussion. I suppose because it's all fixed in his mind anyway. That's not the way to live life though. Anyway, thank god it didn't come to blows when Elena took the serum. That would have been disastrous. May is being selfish by smashing the Odium but it probably saved the team. It did not save Coulson. He just told doctor Simmons that he took the serum off-screen, no need to test anything. Let's go face Graviton!
! I can understand Coulson not wanting to Garrett himself. But 'we've seen what happens when we don't let nature take its course'? We call it medicine but whatever, it's your choice. What's kind of not okay is putting so much on Daisy. He just sends her out there when she is fully aware that the earth is about to be destroyed and who knows it might still be because of her. And then she is pretty much forced to inject herself with the Centipede serum that he himself refused to take. I suppose we can say that he made a good call.
! It was most definitely super cool to see Daisy free herself from Graviton's grasp and blast his ass into space. Good job setting up the fact that Talbot can't breathe there. I mean, it seems logical enough but still.
! So that is how the earth was saved. With a bang. And yet, it was unsatisfying considering the time loop and the insistence that time is fixed. Of course, it's not fixed so this series can keep going but what did they really do differently. Coulson let himself die. Is that it? Has he never done that before? Maybe he never faked it as far as he did this time so they couldn't force the serum into him anymore. Which means he's still dying. A couple weeks and that will be it. :( It's hard to believe that Clark Gregg might be gone from the show (we'll probably know soon enough, I bet there's a dozen articles out there already).
! And then we also lost Fitz. The show got me good there. I somehow managed to forget about frozen Fitz even though people have been speculating for weeks that this timeline's Fitz might croak. Leopold Fitz died saving Polly and Mack. I mean, it's not like Doctor Fitz would never ever save people's lives anymore but it was a nice contrast to what we've seen Fitz do recently. And I was weirdly kind of okay with letting the character go. It had been a great ride. And how could they bring him back after this? It would just cheapen it all. At the same time, I still wanted them to do it. I'm a complicated human being, okay?
! So. The group gathers and there's no Fitz. We see them putting up the plaque. Oh but we don't get shown the name on it, I see you show. Fitz will be walking into frame any second now. But then, who died? I don't understand. Where is Fitz? ;_; Why is Coulson making a traditional Scottish toast? (yes, I googled it during this scene) Where is Fitz? May also pulls a Buffy by smashing the monolith so this couldn't happen again. Buffy smashed the Master's bones to prevent another resurrection.
The ending with the gang on a spaceship with a little figurine on the control board. How very Firefly was that?

! Wait, wait. PPS. I suspect that a lot of people will be disappointed about the lack of actual tie-in. And yeah, I actually expected something to happen in the end. But I'm totally cool with how they did it. I don't like the series being beholden to the movies. Believe it or not, there's people out there who like the show and haven't really seen any movies. I got my roommate into the show recently and we watched Avengers after a couple episodes so she would understand the mystery behind Coulson a little better. And then I fucked up and we watched one too many episodes before watching Winter Soldier. Didn't really matter. She just wanted to keep watching the series and yeah. You don't really need to have seen the movie to get what's going on (we had seen First Avenger, too. So she knew Hydra). The seasons after that I mentioned whenever she wouldn't have to worry about something because it was a movie thing and it was fine. Now, with Infinity War, it would not have been fine. So, cool.

I said a big Fuck you at the beginning of the episode but I actually quite enjoyed the finale.

! >! For the first time ever in this show I said Fuck to Agent Melinda May. She knew about Coulson not wanting it and the prediction of a more coherent person than Robin. That was a terrible decision that she took unilaterally and that it worked out doesn't change how terrible that decision was.
! I am not usually a fan of Yoyo but she did really good this episode. I really feel her pain when she is trying to talk to everyone but no one wants to listen.
! Deke was a real human being this episode and talked some sense into Daisy I enjoyed that. But it seems he entered character limbo where writers put a character where they can be dead or alive depending on the reaction of the audience.
! So Mack is the new director? I would say he doesn't have the ability to make the tough calls but I'm not sure there's anyone left for that. They might as well go with the biggest heart.
! My second complaint is that time changed for no reason and I hate it. It's different just because. If it was gonna be that there was no reason to include that loop thing or have Fitz believe time can't be change.
! Fight was quick. Daisy did a superman move at the beginning and the last move was cool.
! I'm not a fan of picking another Fitz rather than keeping the one we already had but at least for once Jemma gets to successfully save Fitz. I laugh at the idea that the snap could happen and because they lose their driver they crash in the moon.
! There was no crossover on this one and while I didn't like it for the first half I enjoyed that peaceful farewell to Coulson.
Pretty touching scene between Daisy and Coulson.
! I had a lot of thoughts but My biggest one is definitely that I'm happy for Coulson and that he can have peaceful passing away on his own term and with a great companions.
! Farewell Philip J. Coulson, you were not my favorite character but you were the rightful leader of that team and quite possibly his soul. The show will not be the same without you.

Well, this finale actually had me close to crying

! I know Fitz's past self will be unfrozen and saved, but jesus christ that death hurt. Fitz has always been one of my favorite character in this show and these past two seasons have pushed that even further. Super fitting to have Mack, the guy that helped Fitz stay sane in season 2, would be there with him. Just a nice, yet hurtful scene. Really accomplished what it needed too.
! Good part about the finale: the action scene was really cool. Maybe a bit short, but hey they have a budget, I get it.
! Bad part: the ambiguous outcome for a few characters and the show overall. We don't know for sure if Deke is around still, just as I really began liking his character. Since coming back to the past, I felt his inclusion was weird. He just randomly was zapped to the past without much of a valid explanation. At first I was thinking maybe him coming back with them would have been the main difference and corrected the timeline, as in Deke's destiny would be to pretty much come back in time and stop his future from existing. But, they never really pointed to that. I do think he's still alive both because of Fitz being around and the fact that Jeff Ward seems to get along very well with the cast and crew, so I'd imagine they'll want him around still.
! …..Plus I want more videos of him and Chloe Bennet lip syncing Hamilton songs....

I understand that production wise, at this point they had no idea if they were getting renewed, and don't have much communication with Marvel Studios, but I'm pretty disappointed it didn't end the way many thought it would with Infinity War. I get that they likely didn't want to majorly spoil people, but it still feels kind of weak given the whole show had a dramatic shift after WS, and even had Furry arriving in the finale and spoiling WS.
! As for Coulson....again an ambiguous situation that feels weird. We're obviously seeing him next year in Captain Marvel, so I wouldn't have been that opposed to them straight up killing him off. But leaving it ambigious as to whether he'll return or not is strange, especially because it raises the question of "Do we want SHIELD without Coulson". On the one hand, of COURSE! I love this show, the characters, and all that they've become. The only thing that sucks is that the MCU has not taken this show into it's folds completely. While Daredevil, JJ, and Luke Cage may have great writing and a very unique atmosphere, they don't match SHIELD in terms of portraying the world of the MCU.
! That being said, I kind of don't want the show to continue without Coulson. While it has evolved to more, it was Coulson's spin off. We've seen him go from a loyal agent, to being recognized as Nick Furry as an Avenger himself, taking dozens of agents that just had their life fall apart to Hydra and lose friends and trust and pull them back into one working SHIELD, fight for the freedoms of Inhumans that had their lives changed by gaining powers against their will, and save the world and future. Coulson has lived quite the life, and I feel he's gone as high as Marvel TV/Marvel Studios will let him fly.
! Plus I'd be pissed if they just half assed the entire Ghost Rider deal with "he got better".

Oh well, looking forward to season 6 regardless. Maybe this show can accomplish what Community never could. Six seasons and a movie.

Agents of Shield S6 Ep… wait. No this is about Cloak & Dagger. I watched the first two episodes and I enjoyed them for the most part.

! The editing was weird at points with very sudden cuts but that's about the only real issue I'm having right now. I like the main characters and them exploring their powers. I like that they haven't really met up yet. Tandy's boyfriend is the best and I hope she'll help him out. I could go without Ty's wannabe girlfriend though. Oh, all the songs were pretty amazing. Made this series instantly different from any other Marvel show and its own thing.
! The parallels and anti-parallels (Opposites? Eh) between Tandy and Ty's background and lifestyle are interesting. I very much despise that Ty's brother got shot for no reason and the police is covering it up. So that's a good hook. Get em Tyrone!
! Apparently Roxxon will be the main antagonist and has already made appearances in various MCU shows and movies including AoS. Don't quite recall that but it's cool. I can't wait for Cloak and Dagger to get to control their gifts. Because Tandy, you can't just keep killing people even if it is in self-defense.

Luke Cage Season 2 Episode 1

! Holy shit. Bushmaster is fucking brutal. That's one intense introduction lol. I actually screamed a little lol.

It's weird. But I normally keep subtitles on even when I'm watching stuff in English cause I don't like to keep my volume up loud.

! But I noticed that with this season with the Jamaican dialect of English the subtitles don't even try to use the same words or speech pattern. I'm not sure why it would so that. It definitely loses the flair.

I'm on episode 7 and I'd say thumbs up. Although I wanna give it a thumbs down every time (minor side plot spoiler)

! Shades and Mariah have weird flirting / make out scenes. . Something about the way they do it feels like trashy romance novel. Or that the actors were just really uncomfortable.

Season 2 episode 9-10.

! Mariah is a very fucked up character. For almost an inhumanely amount of reasons. She's like Cersei in a lot of ways. Terrible stuff happened to her at an early age and she makes worse choices in the name of "family." I feel bad for Shades and Tilda.
! I'm glad Danny is back. He's improving as a character. And I like his Patty Cake combo attack with Luke lol. I do like their interactions together.

Luke cage season 2 ep 1. Mariah makes me damn incorfortable. I love having Claire around. Misty parts are my favorite. Not a great episode, good last 10 minutes.

! Mariah and Shades remind the relation between Joker and Harley in suicide squad. Except I liked the one in the movie because they were both crazy people known to be crazy. Mariah just seem to have become a straight up creep and Shades is into her for reasons I don't understand. Like I get Mariah's because it seems to have happen as a result of how Shades treats her and needing to fill a hole in her life and losing a bit of her stability. I don't know where Shades's come from.
! So does the kid make money out of Luke? He seems to be struggling a lot but at the same time Luke brand seems to be great. Like did he do the app and not find sponsors?
! I enjoy Misty struggle. She did lose an arm. An experience most cop probably don't expect. You expect to die probably but not to lose a limb. How do you continue when you feel diminished. Should you step down and move on. Do you go back and try to see if you can help. Will you be an hindrance or a bonus? I forgot about her parter's name so I was confused for a moment but yeah the dirty cop. I enjoy that this is included. And her scene with the ex-con might be my favorite.
! I was wondering if Claire forgot about the Judas bullets but they don't work anymore. A bit easy but the premise of Luke is that he is Bullet proof so I prefer it.
! That Bushwacker guy is brutal. Elektra was Jessica Jones with fighting experience. He is Luke Cage with fighting experience.
! That Luke out of the burning truck looked fake to me but it also looked like a great computer background.
! Claire is always great(expect in Iron Fist) and I hope they don't end up separated. They looked great dancing and I love the moment when she used the line "What's my name". She also respect his need to help people while pointing out the real problems like money.

! Uh oh. Well Dr. Nightshade I think is off to an interesting start. I like that she even got her comic book style in the end. Minus leather onsie.
! That club is cursed lol. Luke really should have had someone else deal with it. Can't wait for Danny and or Jessica to set him right. How dare Luke have someone else to tell Claire to leave "his" club.

All in all I liked this season. Perhaps a bit more than the 1st one. It didn't feel quite as slow to me. Misty was awesome pretty much the whole time. Shades was complicated. A good season I felt.

I worry they will make the nurse(Claire) annoying. The subtitles not transcribing the Jamaican speech word for word is annoying to me. They're taking a direction with Cage I don't like.

! Bushsmaster sounds so pervy to me. But everything about his demeanor makes him badass. For now he is kind of empty but sometimes your aura is enough. His accent and speech pattern help that. I'm looking forward to learning more. I'm not sure why he wants the heart of Harlem.
! Mariah is a confusing figure. To much drinking I suppose. I am interested in her daughther and what that could bring. I suppose she came to Mariah because she is scarred of Bushmaster either due to fake ingredients or not wanting him to return. It's funny how both her in her cousin hate the criminal life yet ended up in it. I'm missing the picture Cornell use to have in the office. A painting is just not the same but it could refer to reigning with Shade.
! Shades feels so damn passoniate for Mariah. I wonder where this will lead. I hope he doesn't kill the daughter.

Between Claire suddenly worried there's worse than the judas and her instantly turning it personal when talking about how being family doesn't mean much when it comes to his dad I'm really worried they'll me not like her and transform her into annoying girlfriend. I like that she turned it to her father and later was talking the best way to take care of the guns but I'm a bit worried. I also hate that she try to shrink him and bring everything back to his dad. Tere's a difference between suggesting to someone another way to look at things/to handle matters and obsessively telling someone what to do. I didn't want the show to turn Claire into that. I always hated spouse/partners that tells you how to handle your family relations and trauma from the past. If it's relevant yes if it's not it's invading.
! I really don't need Luke becoming needlessly violent. I'm sure where that comes from but I don't need it. He's never been that guy. Daredevil or Iron Fist or Jessica? yes. Luke? no
! Misty is still enjoyable. I understand why the police station is having problem adapting to her and why she has problem with her new situation
Luke public life is cool
! So Arturo is that other guy that was in prison with Luke Cage.

Luke cage S2 ep3

I enjoy the new enemy and makes me realize how I miss Cornell. It would have been nice to have both Cottonmouth and him in 1 season. The ending confirm a fear I have where sticking to comic cannon fuck with a good thing.

! Yup really don't like where they are going with Luke. He crushed someone ribs when he could have easily taken him out and don't any problem with that. I hope it's not some stratagem to create dissent with Claire and make him end up with Jessica. Seriously they are transforming him into a dick for no reason. Giving Claire shit because she called an ambulance for man brutally beaten. Beating the living shit out of people is not Luke. That last conversation is probably the only worthwhile bit on that front and even that had some wird platitudes.
! If they wanted to stick Luke and Jessica together anyway they should have let Claire alone and just let him and Luke be friends. As it stands I didn't like that they decided to put them together and I freaking hate the bullshit they cooked up to separate them. It's probably gonna annoy for a good time.
! Also Claire need to stop with the obsession with Luke's father. I mean saing he would be ashame of Luke as if he should be seeking his approbation.
! Misty pissing on the rules and messing with people investigation while acting like she's being vindicated is not something I find charming. The Coleen part was much more engaging.
! Daddy Lucas is pretty good with words.
! Damn I love that Bushmaster. I was pretty hype by him meeting with Luke. And he has real presence. The lead up to the fight was cool. When they are just talking. And when the fighting style there's a dude with a camera. Public life is a real thing in Luke cage. I'm not sure why Luke Cage even bother making some move like dodging this time considering his usual style. He's not a good fighter so it was a little strange to see him try. But we got anice demonstration of his abilities.
! And Now I'm wondering if Bushmaster isn't a descendant of Mabel or rather Mabel husband. Maybe his side was from illegitimate union or they got exiled by Mama Mabel. Mabel would have killed his mother.
! Shade continue to be madly in love with Mariah.
Thinking about it I think that new direction with Luke wouldn't bother me as much if Claire didn't exist. But she exist and I doubt their motives.

They love viral videos

! Not a fan of Misty trying to bite those cops head. She has been seen blowing steam with her partner. So she's just trying to be a dick. I wonder if she will quit or get fired. She better not be promoted.
! Seems like Mariah is getting played.That Lawyer seems to be playing some shady play to get Mariah money without her realizing.
! Shades seems to love the criminal world while Mariah hate it.
! Fat singer was had a great beat in the middle of the episode. Also provided great background blues for Bushmaster to talk.
! So the nightshade is a known thing? I thought it would something only one family knew how to prepare. It feels strange it's in a book.
! Tilda seems in I'm gonna try to bone Luke cage mode.
! I love the family dynamic with Bushmaster in the restaurant.
! I hope concussion doesn't play a big role this season.

Luke cage S2 ep5 Piranah is freaking hilarious

! Luke Really need to find a way to make some good money. Jessica is a PI and Matt was a lawyer. Beating bad guy full time don't pay the bills. 150k for walking around? Not so bad. He better not refuse his full pay by the end of the season.
! It's crazy how much stuff he's got for his shrine.
! I wonder how drunk do you to be to actually break a bottle on Luke Cage's head.
! I love 100% honest Mariah.
! Scarfe was dirty but he had great personality.

Overall I'm of the mind that season 2 was superior to season 1. So, so, SO much character development and evolution, just amazing. Blows away things like Jessica Jones who stagnated for two whole seasons of her own show. Loved how everything was resolved and how the future is so full of possibilities that were totally unexpected. Can't wait for season 3, hope it takes priority over a few other possible future seasons of Marvel Netflix heroes. But really, I'd love more for Iron Fist and Luke Cage's shows to just merge and become Heroes for Hire. That would push back the need for another Defenders since I'm not that jazzed about another season of that since the first was lackluster.

! I hate the idea that she stays a cop. I don't too much when Vigilantes don't care about the law because that's why they are working outside of it.
! But I don't need a person in charge of making sure people follow laws that consider they are just vague guidelines that gets in the way of what real police do. And I think someone that worked with her experience and worked with a crooked cop causing 30 cases to get tossed out should know better.
! So I don't like that she's still in the police(I like everytime she quits but it never sticks) and I hate that she is in charge of the police because I think her vision of police should work have been way too tainted.

Also

! I really really hope Bushmaster doesn't kill his uncle. I like their relationship and the family. It keeps him grounded. I keep fearing they will be used to show how ruthless he is.
! Also I like the story of his backstory. You understand why he can never back down because in his mind he chose to let his mother die so he could escape.
