If you could chose to pick any newer OP villain, what would he/she be like? I would probobly make someone who used a new Devil fruit called the Copy Copy Fruit. (Yes, sounds weird but read on first). He would be like the Cell of the One Piece world and everytime a technique was performed on him he would be able to adapt it to his own style, and if it was a move by a Devil Fruit user, he could copy their Devil Fruit power (Such as Luffy's stretching and Ace's fire.) What kind of villain would you design?

I'd like to see a really strong swordsman. Seeing as how Zoro handles those kinda things, he'd probably only be secondary villain, but it'd be good for someone to challenge him with plain old skill.
-
I'd like to see a set of villians that are really bad ass but don't have devil fruits.

I want a villain who does as much damage to Luffy as Crocodile did, if not more. I want who is crooked, heartless, and doesn't give a damn about anyone except himself.. Someone who would kill their own family just to get further in the world. Angry, tempermental, ruthless.. Someone who would be such a threat that it would take at least three or four of the Straw Hats working together simultaneously to defeat him.
It would be cool if there was a female villain like that as well.. Alvida was the only real "central" female villain so far, and I think it is about time that there is a new one.
-
Yeah, but…..I dunno. It just feels weird to have Luffy beat the crap out of a woman (the first form of Alvida doesn't count :P).
-
Well, Robin or Nami could dish out the most damage then. :)
-
Mane doesnt mean copy it means mimic, atleast that whats the professional swedish one piece translator says.
-
OK then I guess I´ll add my two cents two. I´ve just checked my dictionary and it say that mane means imitate.
Other then that about the future villain I just hope that the Doflamingo arc starts after the current arc. The Shichibukai are just badass!!!

**imitate and mimic.. what's the difference?.. o.o
And if the strawhatts really defeats the CP9, then they just can't have a adventure like they had before, because the gouv' will be after them more. So i think after this arc, there will be some mini arcs that is connected to last mega big arc.. Or maybe they just go to another island that doesnt "excists" like Skypea…
I would Luffy to kick someone good guy's ass..
-
I'd like to see a villain who is just this totally slimy, sleazy bastard. A womanizer in the worst way. I know that would never happen in OP, but that's exactly the kind of guy I would get the most satisfaction out of seeing Luffy kick the crap out of.
-
Spandam's about as close as you can get to that type. Only, y'know, he…...doesn't seem interested in women....
-
I do agree, Spandam's the closest we're probably ever going to see. I didn't really picture this villain in mind as Mick Foley, though
It might be interesting if he was, say… I don't know, like one of the Three Admirals. Like Aokiji and one of the others are generally respectable and stuff, the other one's this closet sleaze
-
I think it'd be great to see a female main villain as well. There's still some unknown Shichibukai, maybe one of them is female. I don't think it'd be a problem, Luffy doesn't seem to have any gender bias in who he beats up - he whomped Miss Valentine, and he even punched Vivi a few times when they were arguing. Considering we've seen Zoro vs. Miss Monday, Nami vs. Miss Doublefinger, and Usopp and Chopper fighting Miss Merrychristmas (not to mention Robin practically breaking Tashigi's legs) the only one who has any objection to fighting females is Sanji.
-
Put me on the list of people who want a badass Female MAIN villain as well. That'd be fun. :D
-
The Merman king.
We all know the strange gifts that Merman have, just think what the Merman King could do. He would have the tridon (giant magical pitchfork).
-
I know that Luffy wouldn't care. It just….wouldn't be as satisfying, imo. Valentine was simply swatted, big ol' Alvida was sent flying, and he obviously pulled his punch on Vivi. Can you imagine him doing to a woman what he did to Kuro?
A female Shichibukai would be pretty cool, though.

That sounds more like a villain Sanji would have to beat the crap out of…
o.o
I could just SEE him going after a villain who was disrespectful or slimy towards women... Sanji would go nuts.
-
I'd like to see some more of the former crews of Shichibukai. We've seen Arlong and Bellamy, maybe Bartholew left behind a gang of crazed missionaries.
-
My ideal villain:
-Around the size of Kuro, Kaku, or normal form Lucci. Not very large. Quick and agile. I like fighting styles that involve either: sharp objects (knives, claws, etc. - but not a swordsman villain) - speed/moving really fast. They probably wouldn't have a devil fruit.
-Since I think there are already enough evil villains in One Piece…I would want a villain who is not that evil (and I mean a main villain not a henchmen). Maybe they have a good reason to be a villain. They wouldn't take pleasure in being a villain, but they would do it to accomplish some goal.
Something close to this fits my ideal.
-
The second one somehow reminds me of Scar… yeah, I like that idea too.
-
I'll second the suggestion that we see more people who aren't necessarily evil, but that their goal conflict with those of the Straw Hats. Like how Ace's desire to make Whitebeard Pirate King is at direct odds with Luffy's desire to take the title for himself. In other words, not villains so much as antagonists.
Also, rather than just really strong individual villains, I'd like to see more crews that match up well against the Straw Hats across the board like Blackbeard's crew.
It can't happen, but I'd love to know how Straw Hats compare to Roger and his crew.

Like Garp's bodyguard for instance?
If I recall correctly, he was the second person in the series that we saw with the ability to cut metal. With Garp being a Vice Admiral, he and his bodyguard will probably pop up if a Buster Call is used against the Straw Hats.
-
What about another person who has eaten the rubber fruit? It would be strange explaining how.. but still interesting.
-
I'd also like to see Jinbei finally show his ass up. I bet he's awesome looking.
I know someone said they wanted to fight a small villain, but I want to see Luffy wail on some 20 foot monster guy like Blackbeard or Whitebeard.
Other than that, I want to see another matchup where there is a pirate crew that has 8 members to fight against 8 strawhats like when they fought Baroque Works in Alabasta. -

Slightly slightly off topic, but I'd like to see Sanji fight a female villian. Just to see if he could do it (Kalifa maybe?).

I don't even remember Garp.

We've pretty much already seen Luffy fight a rival pirate captain with a paramecia ability sort of similar to his own… Well not really all that similar, but I'd say Bellamy is about as close as we're going to get to that, and we see what happened to him. Luffy didn't even use his ability, just clocked his ass.
Garp's bodyguard looked like Inspector Gadget's evil twin who apparently uses a katana. Garp was the dog faced vice admiral featured only in Coby and Helmeppo's story. I believe he was called Garp the Iron First or something like that, if I recall correctly.
I'd like to see the strawhats come up against a darker and more supernatural kind of foe. A legendary ghost ship, perhaps somewhat similar to the tale of the "Flying Dutchman."
Like, tales of a brutal heartless crew made up of the worst kind of pirates imaginable and captained by a devilish madman; all of them lost souls, cursed by the sea itself centuries ago. They're doomed to wander the ocean beset by furious storms for all eternity in search of safe harbor. The sight of their ship within a storm is a prophecy of grim disaster for ship and crew, and is known as the bane of sailors world wide. The stuff of nightmares.
Of course Luffy and a few others would somehow find themselves aboard and confront the lost souls within as the chaotic forces within threaten to drive them insane. In the end the clouds could part and the storm could finally end as the Strawhats return to their ship and sail off.
Or else maybe they could fight a cursed pirate like Cervantes from the Soul Calibur games. After raiding a merchant ship bound for the Americas he stumbled upon a pair of legendary demonic swords and found himself possessed. He slaughtered his crew and the entire population of a nearby harbor and rested in the ruins as the swords sated themselves in blood. That may be going a bit far for One Piece, but the thought of someone possessed by the legendary and supernatural doesn't sound like a bad idea…but I'd rather see a ghost ship.
-
Fights against opponents like Hachi aren't going to help Zoro in the long run, he has to fight people like Daz Bones that make him stronger.
Looks kinda like we're on the same page here. It just doesn't seem like he's even the second best yet. It'd be good to have him go against someone that's all skill. Hacchi had six arms, Daz had a DF, Ohm had cloud etc.
And thanks for the pics. I knew that name sounded familiar.
-
Oh, by the way, on the old forum, a member helped me find the name of Garp's henchman (the guy with the hat and katana).
I think maybe it was in an anime artbook (I think that is where the member first found his name) his name is "Bogard". Also, "Bogard" is how he is listed on the voice actor lists I've found on the internet. Whether Oda named him or the anime people did, I don't know.
This is just my guess, but his name (Bogard) could be somehow related to Humphrey Bogart, because of the hat and suit.

This was orignaly on the create your own caracter page. But it would be really cool if the Straw hats went up a tottal BTK type villan.

**I'v had this idea for this villan for the longest time now.
Name-Nera
Age-24
Hair-Blond and Black
Eye color- Purple
Height-5'8"
Skills-hibi-hibi fruit (earthquake powers)Personalitly- Evil, wicked, heatless, come on stop complimenting the girl. Narcissistic to its original definition, Satinâ€s own flesh and blood, swav, smooth, and seductive like a jawbreaker between red sugared lips. Always seen quivering. Addicted to cigars and women and you better not mess with her coffee.
Story-This life of darkness started when her father was murdered, before her own eyes, by her mother after catching him in the act abusing their children (This is probably one of the reasons why she isnâ€t too fond of the opposite gender). Her mother was executed for the murder leaving Nera an orphan. Threw ought her childhood anything she grew attached to would slowly and slyly destroy it with the out most cruelness. Her younger sister suffered such a fate by her siblingâ€s hands, a fate that cannot be spoken of, not even to this day.
Unlike most baddies, being on top of the world doesnâ€t tickle her fancy. Itâ€s the a high and rush that keeps her blood pumping and slaughter gives her a high that not even cigars, women, and coffee can give her. She shook up the ground so bad the earth swallowed up two villages with one gulp. She was a pirate once, even was the captain of her very own crew. All of them were loyal too. Even had a blind girl with as a first mate who was also her lover. But she murdered them, all of them, for killings sake. You would think she makes death into an art form. Surprisingly or not, despite her few in years she is a candidate for the Seven (or should I say six) Gods of Pirates. The reason is that with such a power as hers, the government needs to leash her somewhat.
**
The whole father abuse thing isnt very "one piece" but thats still pretty cool.
I think they need another guy like Satori. He is so awesome. I think the Copy fruit thing is a good idea. Just because the name is taken doesnt mean you have to get rid of the fruit entirely. << -
IMO, the perfect villains exist : The Blackbeard crew. They really are the perfect opponents for the Straw Hats.
- Teach would be as determined as Luffy. Would be a funny, yet intense fight.
- I'd love to see a hide and seek fight between Usopp and Van Auger.
- Lafitte is meant to fight Sanji. I hope he has no Devil Fruit though.
- Seeing Chopper trying to counter Doc Q's deadly creations would be fun too.
- Burgess wants to be the strongest like Zoro.
All we need is some accomplice helping BB so that Robin, Nami and the Shipwright can be busy too.
-
I think that Lafitte has some sort of Bird fruit, because when he appears noone saw him, and he was sitting on the window. And he do look like one of those birds who eat old dead corpses, I forgot their name in english.. :/ Maybe Vulture?
-
I hope he does address undead villians sometime, that would be interesting….not like Captian Joke though >_> (Though I did like his character design a bit). I would be rather surprised if Oda did not include something eventually such as the Flying dutchman or such (since he has been including much materials concerning pirates and tall tale sea stories... yada yada...)
-
how about a villian who eats more than one devil fruit??
eating more than one devil fruit won't necessarily make him ultra strong
but I actually want to see if that is possible
so…is it possible to eat more than one devil fruit? -

I've always thought Lafitte was a dead ringer for a mime ability. Perhaps he could mime a combat technique perfectly or a devil's fruit ability? Create invisible shields or climb invisible walls, like mimes tend to do in their acts. :P

**
See, I always suspected that the reverse would be the case.
Lafitte seems to be Zoro's counterpart in the Blackbeard crew hierarchy; I doubt Teach would send anybody less than his First Mate to a meeting at Marine HQ. He also carries a cane (probably with a sword inside of it) and was a former, very malicious law enforcement official. He's probably very skilled with that cane as well.
Burgess is a melee fighter, which hardly seems a proper opponent for Zoro. Sanji makes more sense.
I also expect that Teach's crew will prove larger in the end than what we've seen so far. I'd also rather than none of them have a Devil Fruit power, they don't seem to need them.
- Burgess wants to be the strongest like Zoro.
-
although zoro vs. lafitte is a more fitting fight, sanji vs. lafitte were be a much bettter fight, IMO. My ideal future villian? My idea is a classic pirate with an invisibility fruit who is also a shichibukai. He would make himself, his whole ship, and his crew invisible, and when they appeared to take ships, people would think it was ghost ship because of its size (very large) and appearance (very scary). When the ship appeared, it would appear abandoned because everybody was invisible. Why him and luffy were fighting, i dont know, but it'd be something cool. Perhaps he would be on somewhat good terms with luffy, like they respect each other. OR maybe he'd just be an evil bastard. Either or.
-
Another good villain would be the return of the gyoujin's but with new ones instead of the Arlong crew. Like one thats an electric eel and one who's a whale type and he's gigantic and van destroy ships. That would be badass.
-
the next villian will be 4 guys at breakfast and sanji and zoro will come in and say this:
brett is eating a burger
Zoro: Do you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with cheese in France?
Brett: No.
Zoro: Tell him, Sanji.
Sanji:: A Royale with cheese.
Zoro: Royale with cheese. Do you know why they call it a Royale with cheese?
Brett: Because of the metric system?
Zoro: Check out the big brain on Brett. You one smart motherfucker.[Jules stabs the guy on the couch during Brett's interrogation]
Zoro: Oh, I'm sorry. Did I break your concentration?
zoro: What does Monkey d luffy look like?
Brett: What?
Zoro: [pointing his sword] Say "what" again. SAY "WHAT" AGAIN! I dare you, I double dare you, motherf–ker! Say "what" one more goddamn time!
Brett: He's b-b-black...
Zoro: Go on.
Brett: He's bald...
Zoro: Does he look like a b--ch?
Brett: What?
Zoro stabs Brett in shoulder
Zoro: DOES HE LOOK LIKE A B--CH?
Brett: NO!
Zoro: Then why you trying to f--k him like a b--ch, Brett?
Brett: I didn't!
Zoro: Yes you did. Yes you did, Brett. You tried to f--k him. And Monkey d luffy don't like to be f--ked by anybody, except nami and the rest of his bitches. -
I know Tarantino likes Reservoir Dogs, but I doubt he's going to rip off the entire movie. :P

correction…oda likes pulp fiction
