All I have to say about the Bears game is this:
At least they're not the Browns.

man next year we should do a fantasy league

I don't think that's what Dennis Green meant about the Bears being who he thought they were:ninja:
Maybe if they become one team, the Brown Bears, they can form something decent
is there a college football thread as well?
is there a college football thread as well?
I think this thread is for both, so you can post about either.
is there a college football thread as well?
Go ahead and post here. College football doesn't seem popular enough within AP to warrant its own thread but I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on this season.
anyone watchin' the Texans VS Patriots game?
So far neither side seems to be getting anywhere lol
football is bad
In order to add a little more challenge to their season, Belicheck is rumored to be looking for the best ways to piss off Roger Goodell during the regular season.
To start, the Patriots will change their name to the Confederates and do cartwheels during the national anthem.
Texans need to get their act together in the second half
fcuk we did better with fucking brian hoyer
Well, so far the college football season has gone about as I expected. I'm an Alabama fan(born and raised there) and so far so good with our teams development. I am a bit concerned about some of the mental lapses our defense showed in the Ole Miss game but feel like we'll be able to work out the kinks by the time we get deep into conference play.
Ohio St looks like they are ahead of schedule this season. That thrashing they gave Oklahoma was unreal Saturday. Louisville is good, but I don't think they are as good as the hype they will get.
Hmmm did I miss much of anything? I won't mention Michigan b/c I feel like they've been way overhyped though they are pretty talented.

It's early but Louisville is def. a team to keep a eye on, especially with games against Clemson, Duke and especially Houston at the end of the year
Alabama and Ohio State are the clear 1-2 for me right now. If I had to pick two more right now for the CFP, it'd be Louisville and Houston. Clemson hasn't impressed, Michigan is good but I want to see them against harder competition, and I won't pick Stanford unless I have to.
The Louisville-Houston game is going to be ridiculous. Especially if Louisville manages to beat Clemson in Death Valley. I'm sure Houston is hoping and praying Louisville wins out too, if they beat them when they are undefeated no playoff committee could deny them entry into the final 4 even with their trash schedule.
Aw yeah the Redskins got their first win…next week is the Browns which should be a no-brainer but the Skins have a history of losing no-brainers :ninja:
I had a dream last night that the Bears lost to the Cowboys 49-3. Based on this game so far, sadly that dream is slowly becoming a reality.
this entire week in pro football
Yeah…...the players on the Notre Dame and Syracuse defense couldn't tackle a dummy.
Oh, man, that UT-Georgia game.
woo Jags find victory in London!
do you think some crusty old fuck is gonna write an article about how the Pats are a bunch of pretenders like they did about the Texans last week?
Bears finally get a win this year. An ugly win, but a win, nonetheless. Jordan Howard was very impressive, only a rookie and rushing for over a 100 yards.
Redskins now 2-2 but until Q4 they were neck and neck with the Browns:getlost:.
haha Pats got messed up this week
Thank god the Colts are terrible at tackling.
Big news from yesterday with Navy upsetting Houston is that Houston is probably out of the playoff race. Houston and Boise State probably the frontrunners for the G5 New Year's Six spot at this point.
i picked a hell of a week to rely on the bengals to score for my fantasy team
Edit: oh nice i jinxed it but in a good way. yells a bit louder THATS PROBABLY THE ONLY POINTS THEY'RE GONNA GET IN THIS GAME, HUH
And the Chargers come away with the victory!!
I honestly expected the Chargers to lose somehow. If Denver had a halfway decent QB they probably would have. Mike McCoy always gets too conservative with a lead and gives the opponent more chances to win.
haha damn the Bills are destroying the 49ers
haha damn the Bills are destroying the 49ers
Who hasn't destroyed them this season?
(Don't answer that)
What an embarrassing loss at home for the Bears.
wooo looks like Houston is bringing it to overtime
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
What a comeback from Houston as they take the victory
Colts might lead the league in "hey we need to fire everyone" games this season.
god bless Lamar fucking Miller. We all hopped up on his shoulders and he took us to the end zone
also, can you play a like that a little bit sooner in the game brock?? could save you some hassle
The fuck? Houston won?
refs: you wanted a flag last week? we got your flags. we got your flags right here
Man, that Seahawks-Cardinals game. Special teams? Who needs special teams?
Alright Jets! Just win five more games in a row and you'll finally return to the ranks of basically mediocre you miserable FUCKS HOW THE FUCK DO WE KEEP GETTING WORSE EVERY FUCKING YEAR

How are both their quarterbacks so awful?
And who did Geno Smith piss off to be cursed with such bad luck…..oh and why does Joe
Namath think a guy can play with a torn ACL?
Arian Foster is retiring.
I'm heartbroken but I understand why!! The boy aint been healthy in like 3 years. Hope he takes care and he is welcome in Houston any day or night
Speaking of Houston. how about that shit fumble call just a little while ago?
god, i stopped watching at the half. the O line just cant get it together and it's not fun watching the D without JJ
God damn it, Cardinals….
UT seems to be coming apart losing to South Carolina the other day; Jalen Hurd is transferring and there are rumors that the entire team is disgruntled with Jones' coaching.
Seattle got some revenge last night lol
