“Where are we?” The Doctor looks around the scenery as K-9 rolls up to him. “Location not confirmed.” K-9 told him as the Doctor nods, we then cut to a scene of the Strawhats entering the cavern and soon after to the Cybermen invading the world and taking over.
“You belong to us, you will become like us.” The Controller tells Nami as he and the Cybermen army are released from their tombs. The scene then cuts to Vincent throwing the switch and the river of steel opening.
Finally we are shown the aliens emerging from under the river, their extermination of Franky and their final message ‘NON DALEK LIFEFORMS DETECTED! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!”
The 10th Doctor’s music plays as the opening sequence starts, as the sequence stops the words ‘Return of the Daleks’
Chopper and the Doctor panted as they caught up with Robin.
“What are those things Doc?” Chopper asked the Doctor as he just shot him a look, a look that was full of fear.
“Daleks…and don’t call me Doc.” He replied to Chopper before quickly moving. “I thought that they were here, of course the Cybermen were wiped out.” Robin raised her eyebrow.
“Are you trying to tell me that the Cybermen were wiped out by so few numbers?” She asked, The Doctor nodded grimly, chewing his finger.
“Daleks are made to be powerful; their weaknesses are so minute that it’s almost impossible to defeat them. They’ve destroyed thousands, nay, billions of innocent life.” He was silent until Chopper asked a question that seemed sensible.
“Why do they do that?” he asked as the Doctor just shook his head.
“Because they really believe that everyone should die.” The Doctor told them, suddenly there was the sound of an engine whirring. “You two Run, NOW!” he shouted as the three took off, the Doctor nimbly dodging a blue beam that fired from one of the Dalek guns. The shot fractured the wall, causing it to crumble.
“HALT!” The Black Dalek told the others as they reached the room the Doctor was previously in. The Daleks circled around the Black Dalek, reversing and advancing.
“WHO WAS THAT?” one Dalek asked, his dome turning to face the Black Dalek.
“IT IS THE DOCTOR!” Another screamed, the Daleks immediately reversed, showing some signs of fear.
“DOC…..TOR!? THE DOCTOR!? THE DOCTOR MUST BE EXTERMINATED! THE DOCTOR IS AN ENEMY OF THE DALEKS!” One of them screamed; the others repeating Exterminate in their screeching, screaming tones.
The Black Dalek rolled up to the collapsed roof and touched it with its suction cap. “THE CAVERN IS COLLAPSING! WE WILL USE THIS TIME TO CONDUCT SURVEILLANCE.” It reversed and turned to the other Daleks. “YOU TWO WILL SEARCH OUT THE AREA, YOU WILL EXTERMINATE ALL LIFE FORMS.” It informed them.
The two Daleks just reversed. “WE OBEY.” They both screamed, before setting off down the dark corridor.
Luffy stepped into the Ice Tombs, the floor slipping under his sandals. The Cyber-Controller turned to him.
“Ah, I have seen this one.” It pointed at Luffy, before pointing at Zoro, who now is part Cyberman, complete with Handlebars, however this is about 20% at most. “He was in this one’s dream waves.” He chuckled a little, Luffy scowled at him.
“You hurt my crew! You killed others! I won’t let you get away with this.” Luffy spat at him. The Cyber-Controller just laughed at him.
“Now you know the pain.” He nodded at Luffy, who just glared at him. “You know the pain of emotions, join us, join us and you will live a life without emotions.” Luffy just shook his head.
“No way, my emotions are what keeps me, me. If I was like you then I’d rather just die.” Luffy spoke harshly to the Cyber-Controller. The Controller was annoyed; he turned to Zoro, speaking through the handlebars as Zoro nodded. Zoro stepped forward, along with Sanji
“Friendship was always something that was not needed. You will fight and destroy your friends.” The Controller chuckled as he stepped away, leaving the room.
“Delete, Delete, DELETE.” Sanji screamed as he outstretched his arms, Zoro just kept silent.
“Luffy, I’ll take this robot and get out of here.” Usopp spoke out loud, Luffy turned around. “Oh, Usopp? You’re here?” Luffy grinned, waving; Usopp fled the scene, carrying K-9.
“Zoro, why are you trying to hurt me?” Luffy blinked as the two stepped towards him. “And why are you giving in to those Cybermen? You’re stronger than that, you could destroy them easily.” Luffy grinned. Zoro stopped while Sanji continued to advance, his hands charging up an attack. Luffy ignored it.
“You want to be the World’s greatest swordsman; you still have a long way to go if you give in now.” Luffy grinned, Zoro nodded. Sanji’s arms touched Luffy, the electricity soaring through his body. Luffy just grinned.
“And you, you would know that I’m rubber, you can’t hurt me like that, but still, I will not hurt you, even though you are still steel, you are my friend.” He grinned; Sanji looked at Luffy and turned away from him.
“You are incorrect, I have been reborn as Cyberman, I will survive while you will be destroyed.” Sanji told him, Luffy continued grinning as the gun rose up on Sanji’s arm. “We will survive! We will SURVIVE!” Sanji screamed at Luffy.
Suddenly an attack came from the side; it was Zoro, he shoulder tackled Sanji who toppled to the floor.
“Sorry Luffy, but I owe him this.” Zoro grinned, before pulling at Sanji’s body, disconnecting the head from the shoulders. Luffy’s eyes widened at this. “He isn’t human, not anymore, all of his humanity has been stripped away and now he’s just this thing.” Zoro tucked the head under his arm. Sanji’s head spoke again.
“Cold….so….COLD.” Sanji spoke sadly. “I could not help myself.” Zoro and Luffy looked down at Sanji.
“Huh? Your still there Sanji?” Luffy asked, Sanji kept quiet.
“Nami-san and Robin-chwan, they mustn’t see me like this…It is a pity.” Sanji complained. “I never did get to see All-Blue.” He added, Zoro sighed and put the helmet on the ground. Luffy nodded, tipping his hat so the others couldn’t see the tears rolling down his cheeks.
“Sanji, you’re coming with us, we are going to find All-Blue and we are going to make you stay there.” Luffy told him. “And we are going to kill every last Cyberman there is.” He added but Sanji stopped him.
“Please, kill them, as Cybermen they have already lost their lives, do not let their brains continue to be used.” Sanji explained to them, Zoro just grinned.
“Ok, just gimme back my swords and I’ll cut through anything you want.” Zoro grinned. Sanji just kept quiet.
“I do not know where your swords are Marimo head.” Sanji told Zoro, prompting a club upside the head.
“Geez, he turns into a metal man and he’s STILL the same.” Zoro grumbled, Luffy just laughed. “Anyways, let’s go kill some Cyber….men.” Zoro grinned.
Nami was walking through the dank dark corridor, flipping one of her many gold coins, it was the only thing that could distract her from the reality of what was going on around her. She threw the coin against the wall, it bounced and rolled along the ground, Nami gave chase. The coin rolled for a short while before hitting the metal foot of a Cyberman.
Nami froze, looking up at the metal giant. “S-Sorry.” She grinned weakly, the Cyberman just stared at her, before collapsing on the ground, Nami nervously stepped closer and closer to it, she could hear the wheezing coming from the helmet, as if it was struggling to breathe.
A few seconds later, the Cyberman was dead; Nami blinked at it and poked it with her clima-tact. No movement, the gold coin was steaming through the Cyberman’s boot. Nami picked it up, before giving off a sly grin.
“So the Cybermen are weak to gold.” She chuckled before putting the coin in her pocket.
“Sir Vincent?” Darling ran up behind his leader. “What have you done?” Vincent just turned around and grinned.
“Oh I’ve just unleashed the legendary killers, the ultimate weapon to every be devised by man.” Vincent laughed to himself, “And now we will exterminate this useless planet and everyone on it.”
On cue, two Daleks reached the position where Vincent and Darling were stood. Darling snickered out loud.
“THIS is the ultimate weapon you spoke of?” he asked while laughing. The Daleks looked at Darling, raising their guns and suckers. Vincent just stayed still, closing his eyes as the Daleks fired at Darling, as the beam hit, the skeleton could be seen, frozen in the horror of the attack.
“Ah, well, quite well put.” Vincent spoke; the Daleks raised their weapons to him. He held up his hands. “Don’t worry, I’m on your side, you sent me here remember? To free you. Orders from the Emperor.” Vincent told the Daleks, the Daleks looked at each other before turning back to Vincent.
“KNEEL.” One commanded, Vincent stepped back, a little shocked. “KNEEL BEFORE THE DALEKS.” The other one commanded, Vincent laughed a little.
“But I’m free now, you promised.” Vincent stammered, the Daleks just repeated themselves, and so Vincent kneeled. The Daleks moved closer to him, their suckers touching his head.
“EXTRAPOLATING DNA.” One screamed, as the sucker smothered one part of the head, the other sucker groped the other part, smothering his face, cutting off all air. Vincent tried to pull off the suckers from his face, but the Daleks just continued with their probing.
When the Daleks pulled away, there was very little left of Vincent’s head, two large blows to the head were present, more than likely from the Daleks’ suckers. He collapsed to the floor, dead; the Daleks just ignored the body before speaking to each other.
“IT SEEMS THAT THE INFERIOR RACE KNOWN AS CYBERMEN ARE STILL HERE…” One spoke. The other started to turn around. “THEY WILL BE EXTERMINATED, WE ARE THE SUPREME RULERS OF THE UNIVERSE!” the Daleks approached the consoles, their suckers touching the buttons.
The Doctor, Robin and Chopper kept on running. “I can’t believe they are here, why is it, every time I think all is well with the universe, they come back and do something like this.” The Doctor complained, Chopper sped up, using speed point as a measure to get away quicker.
“What do you propose we do to destroy them?” Robin asked, the Doctor just shook his head.
“We will do nothing, I however will figure out someway to stop them.” The Doctor spoke, “It’s going to be near impossible, we not only have the Daleks but the Cybermen to worry about.” The Doctor sighed, running into Nami.
Nami groaned as she rubbed her back, an arm was outstretched, she took it and stood up, the arm disintegrated, Robin not requiring it anymore. “Thanks Robin.” Was all Nami said, not looking at the Doctor, who stood up, unfazed by the fall.
“Don’t mind me, I’m fine.” He grinned, “Oh, your….Nami, right?” he asked, Nami scowled before kicking him. “Ohhhh aren’t we moody?” he laughed.
“So what are you guys doing here?” Nami asked Robin and Chopper, they explained the situation to him as Nami sighed sadly. The Doctor put on his glasses, thinking.
“If only we could take out the Cybermen, then I’m sure we will be able to get rid of a few Daleks.” The Doctor mumbled as Nami grinned, tossing him a coin. “What’s this?” the Doctor asked, before biting the coin. “Gold, of course! The Cyberman’s biggest weakness. Oh Nami, I’d say you were a genius, but I’m in the room.”
The Doctor flipped the coin in his hand while talking to himself. “If we could somehow link this gold coin to the central Cyberman computer, we could wipe them out, killing them….can we really do that?” the Doctor asked, Robin shrugged.
“I don’t think we have much choice.” She solemnly added. The Doctor nodded, knowing that there was no choice.
“Right, the computer, I’m guessing its back where we pretty much started.” He complained, before pulling out the screwdriver. “Well, it’s pretty much unguarded.” He laughed nervously. “Right, off we go.” He grinned, before marching off, the rest of the crew following him.
Usopp nervously stepped through the pitch black caverns, an offline K-9 in his arms. Usopp was trying to tap something into the Dog’s computer on its back, suddenly the Dog rose it’s head.
“Power systems online.” He informed the sniper. “Emergency power cells used.” He added. Usopp lowered the dog to the floor; it trundled along for a little while, before turning to Usopp. “Danger approaching.” It told him, Usopp looked at the dog and then into the pitch black darkness.
“Cybermen…” he spoke out loud, he could hear them now, moving towards him, although he still couldn’t see them. He turned to K-9, the dog was reversing. “Flee? Yea, that’s a good plan.” He started to follow the robotic dog. He turned to the Cybermen, he was sure that light wasn’t there before; perhaps the Cybermen had some sort of way to illuminate their areas.
Usopp readied his Slingshot, knowing that there was no way to escape from them, he looked at K-9 and handed him something from the purse, it was a rumble ball. “Give that to a reindeer.” Was all Usopp said, K-9 held out a sucker from his nose, grabbing the ball. “Affirmative.” Was all he spoke, knowing what to do. He trundled off as Usopp turned to the Cybermen, the light was bigger now, but still Usopp could not see their bodies.
“I…I don’t fear you.” Usopp fired a shot at the enemy, but there wasn’t even the sound of the bullet hitting. Suddenly the voice of the Cybermen almost deafened him.
“THE HUMAN IS TAKING HOSTILE ACTION! EXTERMINATE!” The Daleks screamed at Usopp, their lights flashing as they spoke. Usopp dove out the way of two blasts, The Daleks shot again, hitting something in his purse.
“W-What ARE You?” Usopp asked, pulling out a hammer from nowhere, smashing it into the Dalek’s dome. It did nothing; the Daleks simply shot again, this one hit Usopp’s leg. Usopp screamed in agony as the leg from the knee down was no more.
Usopp narrowed his eyes as he pulled out something from what remained of the bag. It was a mask. Usopp grinned. “I may not be able to hurt you, but I know somebody who will.” He put the mask on, becoming Sogeking. The Daleks didn’t care, as another shot narrowly missed Usopp’s head.
Usopp aimed his shots at the Daleks carefully, all of them seemingly missing, when suddenly he managed to hit one in its light, the Dalek screamed.
”MY VISION IS IMPAIRED! I CANNOT SEE! MY VISION IS IMPAIRED! I CANNOT SEE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!” the Dalek screamed, spinning around, firing at everything and anything. “ALERT! ALERT! I MUST EXTERMINATE THE HUMAN!”
The Dalek managed to his the other Dalek, destroying it instantly; Usopp grinned and pulled off his mask, throwing it to the ground.
“The Great Captain Usopp wins agai…” he was cut off as his body flashed like an X-Ray, showing his skeleton. He collapsed to the ground dead.
The Doctor hammered at the controls as soon as they reached the control room, Nami and Robin just stood around, not sure what to do, Chopper was searching through his bag.
“I can’t find it! No!” he screamed as he came up with nothing, the Doctor looked over at him and then Nami, he nodded his head while holding his hand out.
“Gold, give it here.” He ordered, Nami handed it to him, annoyed at the very least. The Doctor looked at it before putting it inside one of the computers, soldering it to the wires with his screwdriver. He was about to press the button when he turned to the others. “I don’t know if I can do this.”
At that very moment the room echoed with the sound of boots, the Cybermen were on their way. Robin and Chopper entered a battle pose, ready to lay down their lives. The footsteps continued, the Doctor hovering his finger over the button.
Suddenly there was a familiar grin as Luffy and Zoro stepped forward, Zoro still complete with the Handlebars. He pulled at them as the Doctor didn’t look up at him.
“Leave it alone, remove them and you’ll have a brainstorm….in other words, you’ll die” he commented, Zoro growled and stopped pulling at them.
Nami could see the metal boots that Zoro now had; they’d surely slow down his attacks. She nodded over to the Doctor.
“Have you done it yet?” she asked, the Doctor hesitated for a moment longer, before pressing the button.
“It’s done.” He sighed, upset. He could already feel the pain of the Cybermen, he knew they were evil but still, he felt sorry for all those people who at this very moment were dying because of them.
All across the world the Steel grip held by the Cybermen was releasing, as thousands of the steel giants collapsed, struggling to breathe. Some regained their humanity, crying and regretting everything they had done while controlled.
Nami let out a sigh of relief, glad that everything was over. The Doctor just kept silent. “Well, that’s the Cybermen taken care of, now for the Daleks.” He snapped his fingers. Robin looked at him.
“Well what are these Dalek’s weaknesses?” she asked, The Doctor thought for a second.
“Polycarbide, the skin of a Dalek, well, we don’t have any of that. And Stairs….we don’t have them either.” He informed everyone, Luffy grinned.
“Why don’t we just beat them up?” he laughed, The Doctor raised an eyebrow.
“That might not be a bad idea…” he muttered out loud. “If you managed to destroy the Dalek’s eye then they will go into a frenzy, destroying everything they see…..exploit that and we just might win.”
Moments later there was a familiar noise as K-9 trundled along. “Master! Dalek’s sighted! Emergency!” He called out; the Doctor bent down and patted K-9. Nami looked over at the dog.
“Hey, he has a Rumble Ball.” She commented. K-9 nodded as Chopper took the ball from him. “But, where’s Usopp?” Luffy asked, K-9’s head lowered sadly.
“We were ambushed by Daleks, he fought back to buy time while I made my way to deliver this.” K-9 informed everyone. Nami covered her mouth in shock as Chopper blubbered a little, Zoro and Robin both shot glum looks. While Luffy got angry, tears rolling down his cheeks.
“First Sanji, then Usopp, I’m gonna destroy those things.” Luffy snarled, Nami piped in. “Don’t forget Franky, he’s dead too.” She added, Luffy was in a rage, the Doctor just spoke to him.
“Mourn them later, now we need to form a plan.” The Doctor informed him, before muttering to himself. “Right, what we need is someway to disconnect the eye stalks, Robin, you can sprout hands right? Try pulling their eye off.” He told her, she nodded. “And you two, just work on hitting the eyes.” He told Luffy and Chopper, he then turned to Nami and Zoro.
“As for you two, just try and help the others.” He was face to face with Zoro. “And I’m sorry, but I can’t do anything about you, Upgrading is irreversible. Especially at this level.” Zoro was just silent.
Within a minute, the sound of the Daleks echoed in the corridors. “SEEK, LOCATE, EXTERMINATE!” they screamed as they came into view, the Strawhats readied their attacks.
“EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!” The Daleks screamed as they fired their guns. One of the attacks narrowly missed Chopper, hitting the wall behind him; another shot destroyed the console behind the Doctor while the last shot hit Zoro’s shoulder, paralysing it.
“Well well well, if it isn’t the Daleks. Screaming in their metal cases.” The Doctor grinned, confidently walking towards the Daleks. The Daleks reversed as they looked at him.
“STAY BACK!” the Black Dalek screamed as the Doctor raised his eyebrow. “Oh? AND WHY IS THAT? Scared are you? Oh yes, I’m sure you weren’t expecting a Time Lord to appear, much less me.”
“YOU ARE AN ENEMY OF THE DALEKS! YOU WILL BE EXTERMINATED!” The Black Dalek commanded, the Doctor just grinned as arms sproutedabove the Dalek’s domes, tugging at the eye stalk. Within a second the stalks had snapped, sending the Daleks into turmoil.
The Doctor jumped out of the way of the Daleks as a punch from both Chopper and Luffy demolished what was left of them. The Daleks blew up, the mutant’s tentacles flailing around as it died. The Doctor sighed as he checked around him; luckily the Daleks had only damaged the environment.
“Well, that’s everything.” The Doctor grinned, “Thanks for your help, come on K-9” The Doctor spoke to the Strawhats as they were leaving the ship. “Now, make sure you seal up this chamber, put a boulder or something in front until you can seal it up properly, try and make sure nobody ever comes here again.”
The Doctor nodded, about to set off before turning around again to Luffy. “Also, there are a lot of Cybermen out there, some of them may have escaped the gold, get the word out and destroy each and every one of them.”
The Doctor made his way to the TARDIS soon after, stroking the doors. “Did you miss me?” he asked it, he opened the doors to the ancient machine as K-9 rolled in. He turned to the Strawhats and smiled. “Right then, I’m off now, you know, places to go, people to see.”
“Where are you going in that little box?” Robin asked as the Doctor just smiled, shaking his head.
“Oh? Umm….This is just my ship, you wouldn’t believe me if I explained it to you.” He smiled. “Unless you’d fancy coming along with me?” he offered, Robin smiled but shook her head. “Thanks but no thanks, I feel like I should help clean up the Cybermen mess.” The Doctor nodded as if he understood.
“I’ll go with you.” Nami piped up, grinning from ear to ear. The rest of the crew were taken back a bit by this. She grinned to Luffy. “Please Luffy, I want to go, today…..today I was the one who figured out how to defeat the Cybermen, usually I’m the one who goes and fights the weakest ones, don’t say anything I know I am…but….today, I’m the hero!” she grinned. Robin and Chopper just sighed.
“She’s just planning on getting his money.” The two sighed nervously, Luffy just grinned. “Ok Nami, you can go, but take this.” He smiled as he took off his hat, putting it on her head. “I don’t need it at the moment, but give it back when you return to us.” He grinned as Nami felt the tears flow a little from her eyes.
She wiped her arm as the Doctor tapped her on the shoulder. “We’ve gotta go now, come on.” She nodded and turned away, walking into the TARDIS. The Doctor nodded.
”Right, well, we are going, I’m sure we’ll see each other again sometime down the line….I just get the feeling I’m forgetting about something.” He pondered for a second, looking over at Zoro, who seems to have gone into a sort of daze. “Oh, and I’ll leave you a little memento, I know it’s not really enough to cover the lives of everyone you lost but take it anyways.” He smiled, before entering the TARDIS.
“Wow, it’s bigger in here than it looks.” Nami commented from the TARDIS as the Doctor closed the door. There was a whirring noise as the Blue Police Box seemed to whir into life. It made a noise that made each and every Strawhat feel warm and at peace inside. The TARDIS dematerialized, fading out of existence and into the Time Corridor. In its place was simply a cardboard box.
The Strawhats stared at the space where the TARDIS was. “What…was that?” Robin asked as Chopper just replied with a “No idea.” Luffy just nodded clueless, Robin turned to him and smiled. “You know what it was?” Luffy nodded again. “Yup, It was a Mystery Box.” He spoke with confidence, the others just laughed at the joke as Robin picked up the box.
“Well, lets go on more adventures” Luffy grinned happily before running off, Zoro and Chopper followed him, Robin picked up the box and looked in it, she smiled softly at the contents and carried the box back to the ship, only one thought eluded her, and this package had reminded her. After everything she had seen one question had not been answered:
Why would anyone make a Robot in the shape of a Dog?
