Under the Moon:
Moment’s Rest
The huge raft rocked back and forth, the waves crashing over the rotten logs as the crew held on for dear life. They had tried to follow the Mugiwara pirates miserably and found their boat simply crashing down.
“So wet.” Auger frowned as he sat on the pier, his feet dipped into the salty water, his hands ringing out the water dripping from his hat. It was a full moon tonight, he looked up at the stars, they shone brightly and beautifully.
“Have you managed to dry out yet?” A voice asked as a man, just as tall as he sat down next to the gunner.
“A bit…” Auger replied.
“You look like a drowned rat, if you don’t mind me saying.” Lafitte smiled at him. Auger simply grunted in reply. Lafitte simply shuffled closer to him. They were fortunate enough to land in a quiet village that didn’t know their names….yet. Their captain had left to pursue the local delicacies, and the Doctor and Strongman were doing…..something. Leaving Auger alone with Lafitte, which was rather nice.
Lafitte locked eyes with the gunner for a brief moment, causing his purple lipped smile to widen.
“Penny for your thoughts?” he asked. Auger lent out a pent up sigh.
“Nothing really.” He spoke softly.
“Ah, but there is something in there.” Lafitte remarked, his smile widening.
“It’s nothing, honestly.” Auger stood up and with a wet splat, placed his hat upon his head. Lafitte too rose from his spot and followed the man.
“You’re worried in case Blackbeard actually does become a Shichibuki, aren’t you?” he asked. Auger nodded.
“Most Shichibuki have to give up their crews. I doubt ours would last for very long without him.”
Lafitte nodded.
“I think you’ll find we are all more than simply Blackbeard’s lackeys, although that may be how people see us.” He tipped his hat. “Of course, I doubt he would give us up so easily, word is on the street that most Shichibuki still have their crews.”
Auger nodded and closed his eyes.
“Then that is fine.” He let a small smile run over his lips. “Thanks.”
“Now then.” Lafitte turned to the open sea. “It’s a beautiful night, I don’t wish to spend it alone….do you?” he smirked. “Come on, stop being a prude and join me, it probably won’t be long till everyone clues into us.”
Auger looked at the purple lipped man for a moment before smiling.
“Fine by me, could do with a bit of a rest.” He told the man, sitting down next to his lover, both looking up at the full moon.
The Moon turns around, revealing it has features: eyes, a nose and a mouth.
“When you are the Moon, you become…like an important part of the world….when the sun goes down lots of little things come out and howl at me, I like being howled at, it’s quite nice. And….one time, I saw this man howling at the moon and then he became all furry…and I was like ‘wow! A furry man! That’s weird!” the Moon rambles on before grinning, spinning around again.
Night Swimming
“NAMI-SWAN!” Nami lifted her head to hear the ever joyful call of Sanji, she blinked herself awake. Had she been asleep? She looked under her chin to find maps, quills and ink scattered around.
“Nami-swan!” Sanji grinned at her, holding out a steaming hot tray of delicacies. “I was cooking, and realised you weren’t in your bed. So I naturally assumed that you were up and about…well….you were….sort of.”
Nami scowled. “You were in our room?” she scowled. Sanji grinned.
“Robin-chwan wanted some coffee.” He beamed. Nami kept her stare on him; he looked to be telling the truth.
The food was placed down on an unoccupied space on the desk, but left untouched. Nami yawned and stretched herself.
“Thank you Sanji-Kun.” She smiled. Sanji grinned.
“You’re welcome Nami-swan.” He smiled. Nami stood up, brushing past him and out into the crisp night air.
“I love nights like this.” She smiled. “Always so nice and cool.” She added. “Not too cold though.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you keep nice and warm.” Sanji put an arm around her. Nami simply shrugged him off before leaning against the side of the ship.
“Sometimes I just wish I could just….jump in.” she looked at the water, the night sky reflected in the water.
“Then why not?” Sanji asked. Nami thought for a moment, before grinning.
“I’ll let you join me…..for a price of course.” She winked. Sanji’s eyes practically popped out of their head.
“Na….Na….Nami-swan?” he gasped. Nami raised an eyebrow.
“Are you going to say no?” she asked. Sanji grinned.
“O…Of course not!” Sanji exclaimed.
The two held hands as they jumped, naked into the cold sea, the calm waves gently allowing them to swim freely with little resistance.
“See, the temperature is a lot warmer than it looks.” Nami smiled. “And do you know why?” she asked. Sanji simply blinked at her, trying not to look directly at her breasts.
“Not a clue.” He muttered.
“There’s an underwater volcano directly under the ship.” She informed him. “Keeps the waters warm.”
“Sanji-kun…” she whispered.
“Yes?”
“You don’t have to give me any money to see me like this.” Nami whispered, lightly kissing him.
Again the Moon turns around.
“You know…one time….I had a man walk on my face, a man on the moon! Can you imagine that?…but….then he left on his ship…and I was very lonely….I mean, why did he leave? Should I have put the kettle on and offered him a cup of tea? I’m the Moon, I don’t offer people cups of tea.” He grins before turning around.
The Legend of Old Greg
Zoro snored loudly on the small boat, his rod dangling into the water, he was supposed to be on fishing duty, but to be honest, he couldn’t be bothered. The fish weren’t biting on this particular spot, and more than likely Usopp or Robin or Nami had managed to catch enough for everyone to feed on.
He snored loudly, not hearing the sloshing of water as something huge crawled onto the deck. Zoro lazily opened an eye to find someone grinning at him, his face was a pale green, with huge red lipstick on his lips, he bore bright red rings around his eyes and a black bar moustache. His hair was little more than a seaweed and his clothing….he wore a fading white jacket and underneath a….pink Tutu.
“Hi there.” He smiled.
“Who the hell are you?” Zoro glared at him.
“I’m Old Greg.” The man spoke, happily. “What you doing on my waters?” Zoro glared at him, he knew what it was like for these ‘guardians of the waters’
“Nothing….not…fishing.” he muttered. Old Greg stared at him.
“Then what about this hook? Caught in my hair?” he asked. Zoro was silent.
“It’s not mine.” He simply stated.
“It’s attached to your rod mother licker!” Greg scowled at him. Zoro simply blinked, hardly caring.
“I’m gonna hurt you.” Greg continued. Zoro reached for his swords.
“Why?” he asked. Greg changed the subject.
“Want to go to a club where people wee on each other?” he asked.
“No…not really no.”
Old Greg kept a big smile on his face; Zoro was unsure whether he was simple or demented
“I like you….what do you think of me?” Old Greg asked.
“I don’t….really know.” Zoro was stumped.
“Make an assessment.” Greg ordered. Zoro slumped back, closing his eyes.
“Do you love me?” Old Greg kept his smile. Zoro sighed heavily.
“Oh…dear.”
“You must love me, a handsome man like you, using your big strong arms to pull Old Greg out of the water, reeling me in.” Greg smiled. “I’m Old Greg!” he called out to the night.
“You’re really creeping me out.” Zoro bluntly stated. Greg excitedly nodded his head.
“I got something to show you.” Old Greg stood up, before husking up his tutu, a bright blinding light coming from underneath.
“Look! Look at my Vagina! Old Greg’s got a Vagina! I’VE GOT A MANGINA!” he exclaimed. Zoro’s eyes widened with surprise, or was it fear, he was unsure himself now.
“I’m OOOOOOOOLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDD GREG!” Old Greg called out to the stars, as Zoro simply collapsed.
The Moon turns around again, his usual smile on his face.
“Old Greg….Old Greg’s like a huge fish finger…like….the size of a garage….imagine that! A Garage the size of a Fish finger, one you can see for miles and miles….he’s a very scary person.”
Journey’s End.
The flower struggled, its petals looking up at the eerie moonlight, it knew what it was supposed to do. With one huge struggle it pulled its entire weight upwards, the roots becoming small thin legs as it heaved its way through the shrubbery.
It spied a young man, hard at work doing target practise.
“Just one more….hold it steady.” The man muttered. One eye closed tightly, the other keeping a keen eye on the target. The flower pulled itself to full height, before drooping its petals, ready to attack.
The man let out a silent cheer as he hit the bulls-eye dead on, it was his secret target practise spot, nobody had managed to find their way there, so he could easily practise to his heart’s content.
The flower locked on to the body, before letting out a huge scream, it’s roots providing a catapult as it lunged itself towards him.
The man struggled for a moment as the flower hissed in his ear.
“We are the Lilies, we need your form.” It groaned, the man could feel thick vines being pulled up from the ground and wrapping around his torso.
“And what do you need my body for?” he asked, clutching at his weapon.
“We Lilies are few in body, but plenty in mind.” It hissed. “We need more humans to become flowers, like us.” It added. The man gulped, before closing his eyes, without any fear he reached his pocket, he always kept flame stars near him in case of emergencies like this.
“And with a lightning fast reflex, the evil Lilies world-domination plan was thwarted.” Usopp smirked as he sat on the branch of a huge tree, the moonlight giving him a natural light.
“Really?” Kaya smiled as she rested against the balcony, listening to his adventures.
“True story.” Usopp closed his eyes, pulling up part of his overalls. “This scar was where the vines grabbed me.”
“You must have been so scared.” Kaya frowned, a grave expression on her face. Usopp shook his head.
“Me? Scared? Of course not.” He smirked. “I’m the great Captain Usopp you know.” He told her. Kaya nodded.
And with a single step, Usopp stepped into her bedroom. Kaya giggled, she knew how Merry hated him going through that way.
“You really should use the door.” She wrapped her arms around him. He simply stared into her eyes.
“Real men NEVER use doors.” He whispered, gently kissing her.
“Jupiter…..Mars….Mercury…..Venus…..Saturn……Glen……Thomas……Bill…… those are the names of my friends…….in order of preference.” The moon smiles before turning away again.
Guardian
Robin idly flicked through the last few pages of her novel, she had made great progress tonight, unfortunately she had finished the last of the coffee supplies earlier that night and now was sipping at a cup of Tea.
Her reading was put off by a loud crashing noise not too far away, her eyes cast over to where Chopper was stood, scowling at nothing in particular.
“Are you ok….Mr. Doctor?” she smiled at him. Chopper nodded, his small form on alert and eyes flicking back and forth across the deck. “May I ask what it is that you are doing?” she kept her smile. Chopper didn’t look at her.
“Protecting you.” He simply said. Robin’s interest was piqued now.
“And….you think I need protecting?” she asked. Chopper shook his head.
“Not really, but Sanji said that girls need protecting and then Brooke said if you protect girls a lot then they show you nice things.” His eyes lit up as he spoke. Robin nodded.
“….Why am I not surprised?” she muttered, suppressing a smile. Chopper was determined though.
“So I’m sure you’re well prepared against the Huge Arachnid of Nannageddon.” She asked. Chopper’s eyes widened
“Arachnid….”he asked. “Huge….” He shivered.
“They do like to eat large animals, like cows, sheep…..deer.” Robin continued to tease him. Chopper shivered again. “I’m sure I saw one creeping around on deck too.” She chuckled as again Chopper shuddered.
Chopper looked around, trying to find the spider. Suddenly he could feel something creeping up his back, slowly but surely.
“Robin…….spiddeerrr…..” tears were in his eyes now, suddenly he could feel another, this one creeping around in his pants. Chopper screamed louder, until a hand sprouted, poking his nose.
Robin smiled as Chopper glared at her.
“Sorry….couldn’t resist.” She smiled. Chopper giggled, thinking himself foolish that he would fall for such a thing. Robin returned to her book.
“I don’t need protecting….” she told Chopper. “The only thing I fear is…” she knew she had said too much.
“What?” Chopper asked. “What do you fear?” he asked. “I’ll protect you of that.” He exclaimed. Robin closed her eyes; Chopper noted a small tear on her face. “Why are you crying?” he asked.
“I’m not….” Robin stated. Chopper stared at her, had he done something wrong? He thought for a moment, before wrapping her arms around her.
“What are you?” Robin gasped. “That’s the manoeuvre to stop making people choke!”
“I know.” Chopper told her.
“Then why?” she coughed.
“It stopped you crying though.” He told her. Robin was silent for a moment. “Didn’t I tell you I was going to protect you?” Chopper asked. Robin smiled at him, before wrapping her arms around him in a hug.
“Thank you….Chopper.” she smiled.
“I never really understood why people like me, some people…they are like ‘oh look it’s the moon, it’s all nice and tranquil…and other people…they are like ‘you bloody moon!’ and are really nasty…..I don’t like them people that much.” The moon frowns before spinning away.
Burnt Meat
Ace scowled as he closed his eyes, this place was REALLY starting to get on his nerves, time didn’t seem to pass in the cells, but he knew it was there, how could he have been so foolish as to have fought Blackbeard.
“Zehahahahaah!” Blackbeard chortled at the sight of Ace’s form as it lay curled up and defeated in front of him. He expected more from one of Whitebeard’s men, the senile old git must have been more past it than he first thought, employing men like this.
He crouched down and scooped up the man. Smoke was still scenting his body, musking the otherwise odour of meat.
“Smells tasty.” The huge man smirked taking in long whiffs of the man, before giving him a gentle lick.
“You….won’t….win.” Ace grunted.
“Say that to the book of cliché sayings.” Blackbeard chortled. He slung the man over his shoulder and began to carry him to the rest of the crew.
It was a tight fit, on that raft, already was it too small to accommodate the crew itself but the extra-addition provided to be more than just a little nusience.
“So….what do you think he eats?” Lafitte wondered out loud.
“He’s just like us….” Auger told him.
“Do you think he’d mind if we poked him?” Doc Q asked.
“Nyeaaaahhh.” Said Stronger, but it probably wasn’t important.
“Leave him.” Blackbeard grunted. Already the sun was beginning to set and anchor had to be weighed for the night. “He’s my golden ticket remember.” He let out another hearty laugh. “Zehahahaha.”
Ace opened his eyes to find him in seastone cuffs and on an unfamiliar ship, Blackbeard and his crew sat around him, their eyes staring at him, some mocking, some dying and some just…not particularly caring.
“Take a look at the stars Commander Ace!” Blackbeard laughed. “Tonight will be the last time you see them for a long long time!” The huge hairy man put an arm around the smaller one and gave him a huge hug. “A long long time boy.”
The moon looks down on the two looking up before speaking.
“Sometimes I ah…get a bit scared when people look at me, what do they look at me for? Do I have something on my face?”
Midnight Interrogation.
Hina stared mockingly at her captives, soon after the Baroque Works operation she had found these in her grasp, of course, some others still managed to allude her, including the second in command, but she had managed to catch the ringleader of the operation, which was nice.
And here they were, trapped like mice; Hina never knew how….boring they could be.
“Do you actually do anything?” she once asked Miss Doublefinger, the only of the members she actually took some sort of a shine to.
If the circumstances were different, she would even call this particular member a friend.
“Hina wants to know where the rest of your crew is.” She stared at the woman, boredom in her eyes as she blew smoke towards her.
“No idea.” Came the basic reply. Hina scowled.
“Hina can make it easier or harder for you.” She grunted. But the woman didn’t seem to be fazed at all.
“I’ve had a tough life so far, I don’t think that you would be able to make it tougher.” She simply closed her eyes, stretching her arms behind her. Hina cursed under her breath, she’d already taken everything away from the woman and still she held against her.
“Single Quarters.” She grunted. “In the male quarters, that is what will be your future.” She informed the woman, who shrugged.
“Can’t say that I’ll mind.” She gave a soft smile. “I know just aswell as any other woman how to put men in their places.”
Hina kicked her foot against the desk, this woman was really becoming a pain in her backside….but it was somewhat a nice change.
“How about…..” Hina ran out of ideas. Doublefinger smirked, pouting her lips.
“What’s wrong Granny?” she teased. “Can’t think of anything?” Doublefinger laughed.
Hina scowled, but said nothing. She wanted the woman dead, but part of her wanted to continue the fight. Most crumbled under her wit within moments, but this one was actually putting up a fight.
And so the argument continued into the early hours of the morning. And for once, Hina didn’t get her own way.
“When you are the moon…people think that you go to bed during the day, but I do not….sometimes I get very sleepy, always having to be up and looking after different people when the sun isn’t…..I think I should change my job.” The moon smiles, before turning around again.
Neferati Vivi smiled up at the stars, they seemed to shine extra bright for her tonight. She let out a content sigh and turned to Carue.
“It’s all over….isn’t it?” she couldn’t turn off the smile that she had kept for the past few days. Carue simply quacked in reply.
Peace had once again returned to her homeland, all thanks to Luffy and his friends.
“Luffy.”
Vivi mouthed the word out loud, so many good memories, it was almost a shame to leave them, but she had to, it was for the best.
“What do you think they are doing now?” she asked her pet Duck, who almost seemed to shrug.
For a brief moment the smile on Vivi’s face faded, her eyes were lost in the stars.
“Do you think I’ll see him again?” her tone seemed to be a bit more sadder now. Carue wondered if Vivi was already wanting for the man to come back.
Vivi thought for a moment.
“I wish I went with him you know.” She spoke out loud. “I know, I know, I’m needed here, but the carefree life he leads…..I envy him.”
Carue plodded over to the princess, his bill gently rubbing against her, she smiled and hugged him.
“I never told him….” She frowned. “What I really felt…he helped me with so much…and…I think I’ve lost my chance.” She continued watching the stars.
“I think he thinks the same way you know…” she smiled.
“Sanjiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii….I’m hungry.” Luffy wailed as he lay across the table.
“Quit your complaining.” Sanji grumbled, shooting death glares at Luffy, before returning his attention back to Nami.
“Nami-swan.” He grinned.
“Maybe tonight.” She winked, trying not to give any attention to the small kiss she gave him.” Robin simply shot her a knowing smile.
“You should be more open, it worked…for me.” She indicated to an arm that was tightly clenched to Chopper’s, who simply let out a nervous smile.”
“Looks like it all worked out happily for everyone.” Announced Usopp. “Especially me, because I always had someone.” He smirked, Chopper and Luffy’s eyes lighting up in awe. “Even Franky and Brooke are away doing….stuff.” he spoke in a darker tone, but still bragging.
“What about you?” Luffy asked Zoro, who shuddered.
“I don’t wanna talk about it.” He mumbled. “It’s not particularly important anyways.” He lay back against the ship’s mast, before falling into a deep sleep.
“It looks like even Mr. Swordsman has someone.” Robin chuckled, before snuggling into Chopper’s arm.
“OK! NEXT ADVENTURE!” Luffy raised an arm.
And somewhere else on the ship, a woman in a bridal dress smirked.
“Roronoa Zoro, you’ll be my mannnn.” The woman smirked, standing tall.
“I’M OLD GREG!” he announced, hiking up his dress. “I’VE GOT A MANGINA!” he wailed, a bright light emanating from beneath.
“Well, looks like its time for you all to go….not me though…I’m the moon and I don’t go anywhere, I’ll just be sitting in the sky looking at you, when you are on the toilet and when you are having sex….I’m the moon, I get to see boobies.” The moon grins before turning around again.
The End.
