It was funny seeing Luffy shut that little brat down for acting all high and mighty after the reveal. He almost mirrored Doffy's self-entitled attitude and I love that Luffy continues to not give a damn about who's royalty or not. He only respects the strong willed and the strong characters in general. The Raizou reveal was funny because just like the characters that was one huge ass let down. Not sure why but I feel like I've seen that face previously, like almost like a diamond Jozu sort of face. The ninja tricks were cool, so were the gags, having Law involved who is trying to hold in his excitement was hilarious. I think some of the things were predictable though, like Raizou being restrained against his will, I wrote that last chapter thread. Was hoping it would be a female but considering how these pervy bunch looked like they haven't seen a lady for over a millennia before bumping into strawhats it comes as no surprise.
If I'm honest with myself I wish Raizou looked cooler, we've had the goofy Weeble design, goofy Kanjuro design and now Raizou looks goofy too. Only reveal that looks cool is Jack, I guess he sort of makes up for the rest in a sense because him and Kaido look monstrous.
Finally, if Lord Oden or whatever is another sissy ruler I will rip my hair out, I'm sick and tired of pathetic rulers who can't defend their own kingdom for shit and sit on the byline and cry like a bitch. Something tells me this won't be the case considering Inu and Neko being strong as they are and Wano seeming quite militarily organized.
Besides Kyros i cant remember the last time we had a non fodder " good guy" who looked badass.
Bart maybe but he was still looking like a rooster. Caesar was cool. Vergo was slick, Jack was tank, kaido was a monster, diamante and pica looked cool and trebol has a charm to some. But with the allies it seems that the guys are kind of generic for the most part or they dont have much of a big role. I've learned to never have assumptions about a hyped character again.
Maybe sanji's dad will be an okama. IDK LOL Oda seems to be getting goofier and goofier, but honestly in the manga I dont get the same humor as I do in the anime, so chapters that are full of jokes and not any action i kind of just sit and read like " oh, it's a joke, alright" I understand it's not berserk and I'm glad it's not but he felt over the top to me, I was expecting goofy when they hyped it up mid chapter but he's practically this on a body
I like his personality though it's better than the other 3 samurai but I hope he doesnt join the crew because I would have a very hard time taking him seriously
