PC Players are gonna act like they are entitled to All currently Released DLC & maybe the first 2 Film gold dlc packs being free for the wait
Same situation can be said for Final Fantasy 15 Season Pass.

Well the Film Gold DLC pack 1 & season pass is out on American PSN Store
Gold Pack - $25 bucks for all old dlc plus the upcoming dlc
Wanted Pack 2 - $15 bucks for all Film gold dlc
Film Gold Pack 1 - $8 bucks
So I just put my hand on the Gold Pack (free on the Japan PSN Store until mid august). I am quite disappointed about Tresoro moveset. I didn't see the GOLD film yet but his combos are really poor, triangle attack is only one sword slash… Only ONE !!! It's nearly impossible to link 2 different attacks in sequence. He has no customized dialogue with other characters (hope that Lucci, Garp and Caesar will have some). The only nice thing is his Grand impact animation. And for Luffy, Nami and Robin, I found no changes in there moveset.

Thanks ! Indeed, there are some possible combos but I'm having less fun with this character :)
I was hoping they would give this DLC Luffy the Leo Rex Bazooka as a finisher.

That would have been nice plus special dialogue when fighting tesoro, but i feel why Spike Chunsoft didnt do it is spoilers or they are putting more focus into the 3 Poll DLC Characters instead

I think the reason why Gildo Tesoro has no customized dialogue with other characters is because it's all full and no room to add more. If they did that, it would have taken more months for appeal events for each strawhat.

^I agree with this along with the 5 unknown DLC slots.

It is the standard practice you know?
Especially when most (if not all) of the dlc presented is alreayd in the disk because it was made before the game was released and you're just paying for a key-code.
But the developers like money more than they like the fans so I doubt we would have such luck.

we probably are..but the reality is that all this waiting pratically killed any kind of interest i had about this game..at best i'm gonna wait when it falls in price hard..but for that time burning blood 2 is gonna be coming out…
anyway..what's the general consensus with the game? in the launch periodo there were people calling it garbage and people calling it good...

A good amount of PC players can be very annoying in this regard. Instead of children/ early to mid teens acting like annoying little shits, its grown adults.

I am curious. What makes you think we will get a sequel for this game? Many One Piece fans want One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 or One Piece Unlimited Title games. Not many people like One Piece Burning Blood because the game is not good in their point of view or they don't like fighting games. I wonder if Ganbarion develop new One Piece Grand Battle game, would people like it. I am also wondering where are they going to put the 2 on the Burning Blood logo because Luffy is in the way lol.

all people were asking before this gamne was out was a proper onepiece fighting game..so i don't think now the fans are asking for pirate warriors 4 (after the 3rd one the series deserves an hiatus) or another unlimited cruise-kinda game (we had red relatively recently for that)
of coruse i don't know if this game is actually good, that's what i asked in my post, but it seemed like it got a decent following, and even with a moderate success i can't see naco bandai passing on the occasion to make a sequel..especially sicne there are tons of characters that can be added to the roster
Well for the sequel logo they could do something like
Gear 4th Luffy facing sideways next to the B's of Burning Blood and then they can put the 2 on the logo on the right.
But I am sure after they see how many copies of the game plus the sales of all released dlc, maybe around the release of Film Gold dlc pack 2. They may start planning Prodouction of Burning Blood 2.

I can see the second game having over 84 playable characters because the first game has 42 playable in the current roster even though they're still adding more which can be saved for a sequel. They could take a like a year, year/half, or two to develop the second game. I am also wondering if Spike Chunsoft will develop it for the Nintendo NX because that would be awesome. It would be the first anime game on the Nintendo NX.
pretty much disappointed by the gold DLC, kinda hoped that luffy nami and robin would have new gameplays. Anyway I still don't know if I will buy the game, can anyone can give some feedback on it?

Well Spike Chunsoft do have a flaw with giving Slots to costumes for this game and well
Out of the Film Gold Packs, Tesoro & Lucci & Garp & Caesar are playable characters while the rest are 6 costumes.
But the game is good on a casual level, but people who want super hardcore fighting games will nitpick and call this game trash.
But Spike Chunsoft & Bandai did ask for feedback from those who played the game, so the game will be touched up over time until maybe December.
So the best thing to due For you is maybe wait for the game's price to drop abit and then just buy the "GOLD PACK" which is 25 dollars for ALL currently released DLC and the 2 upcoming Film Gold Packs
I bought an Xbox One wired controller earlier today since I was gonna start making Let's Plays on PW3[replaced with Modern Warfare 2 for now and maybe Batman Arkham Asylum when I get the chance] in preparation for Burning Blood on PC. The game doesn't really have any controller setting so it threw me off. The buttons worked so when I started the story mode, I was excited since the game was very fun on the Vita. But as soon as you have control, the stupid camera is spinning and you cant do a thing to stop it. I was able to attack but the camera was out of control. I also couldn't pause the game. Not even with the keyboard. I found out the game has issues with Xbox One controllers so a 360 controller is recommended. Hopefully this isn't a problem with Burning Blood since it did release on the Xbox One too.

Got my fingers crossed. It's sad to see such a fun and entertaining game like PW3 to be left for dead.

Hello fans! You’ve asked for more details about the PC version, and as we’ve continued to say, we want to be as transparent as possible with the release of the game on September 2nd. Here’s a part of the Options menu in One Piece Burning Blood http://imgur.com/a/NQQo0 . Note: in the Keyboard Settings, you can fully map the game controls to the keyboard keys. And here’s the full list of supported resolutions below. To select these, the team looked at Steam’s survey of the most popular resolutions used by players (available here http://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey)..1280) 1280 x 720 1280 x 1024 1366 x 7681440 x 9001600 x 9001920 x 1080. All these details are subject to change up to the release, but to be honest they are pretty much final. Don’t forget: the game is out September 2nd! Only a few weeks to go!! :)

I won a burning blood code for ps vita, the problem is, i don't own a vita… Has anyone tried the game on ps vita? Might it be worth buying a used ps vita to play the game?

I have it on the PSVITA. It's the exact same game but with lower graphics. Game runs way smoother than what I expected when I started playing it, so I can confirm it's a really good port of the game.
Now, whether it be worth buying a PSVita or not that would depend on you. Burning Blood is a decent fighting game, but I personally would never recommend to someone to buy a console for just one game.

Thanks! Usually I wouldn't buy a system for one game only, but a used ps vita is just a few bucks more expensive than burning blood for ps4, that's why I'm considering it, and it's a shame letting the code go to waste. It seems like a nice pick up and play game for the vita, squeeze in a few minutes every other day… how is the online? Is it separated from the ps4 version? Is there a lot of players?

Sadly online is pretty empty. You can only play with other Vita users so that explains why there aren't that many players active. There's more activity on the Pirate Flag mode than the online ranked or regular matches though, but that mode is not entirely Player VS Player. In my experience the most lobbies I've seen Online on player matches have been like 3. So as you can tell online play isn't that active on Vita.
If you have a PS4 copy though, you can transfer your Vita save to it and vice versa.

Thank God. The game actually has proper controller support. In PW3, even with a controller plugged in, the keyboard keys were shown rather than the buttons. Hopefully you can remap the controls too, but Im just glad with whats shown.
In my opinion, I believe every High School needs a game design class to teach these young teenagers about the difference between developing a game at 30 FPS and 60 FPS. The more knowledge, the less complaining the better. I am saying this because the adult PC gamers are messing up the young teenagers by causing them to follow the hate bandwagon against 30 FPS and beg for 60 FPS. Isshak Gravi told everyone many times the PC version will be 1080p 30 FPS like the console version, but people still keep asking for 60 FPS and won't listen. It's really annoying. Plus he only got these pictures because one guy was complaining so much asking the same questions over and over. But now he asked for something else and Isshak Gravi complete ignores him. Smh.

I'm sorry but it doesn't make sense why you would lock a game to 30fps for PC if the user's PC has the resources to run the game at 60fps. Developers should always give the option to those who can have more poweful specs to run the game as high as possible. While I understand the developers may be taking their first steps porting and developing for PC it still gives a bad image that you're not giving that flexibility to PC gaming consumers.

usually it's because in development frame rate is used as a parameter for something else in the game..like animations
so it happens that when you change the frame rate, something else breaks, there are plenty of examples in the PC ecosystem of this..games that were locked at 30 and when fan modded it to unlock the framerate, they discovered that something else broke
of course it also happens that if the game has enough following, the fans still manage to solve the problem and give a proper 60 ps experience without issues, but publishers don't seem to want to pay the additional hour of work and testing for that

Except they can just write a simple method so that animations meet the current frame rate. Thing is when someone who didn't program ANYTHING in the game ends up fixing that issue that's pretty embarassing for the developer because it should have been way more easier for them to fix it than a random fan.
But anyway, like I said, it makes sense when things like this happen especially to many Japanese developers who are new to making games for PC and are not used to the environment. Problem is that their reputaton with PC gaming consumers will be pretty mixed until they get used to it and actually get to make better ports.

This situation reminds me of the Tales ports. People always complain about the 30 fps lock on the PC port because they think that anything under 60 is bad no matter the situation. But there are exceptions: Tales uses a fighting game style battle system and One Piece Burning Blood is a fighting game. They are healthily reliant on frame data and game logic tying to framerate. That's just how the fighting game genre is. To increase it to 60 fps wouldn't make the game smoother like it would for any other genre, it'd make the game run too fast. In order to achieve proper 60 fps they'd need to do a complete rebalancing, which is way too much work and ultimately ensures that the experience between versions will be completely different. However, PC Users try to bring that up and armchair game devs would say that it's amateurish or idiotic to have game logic tied to framerate, when it's not. It's just a different way of programming that the genre has been using forever.
Here's how you setup cooperative play similar to Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken Tag Tournament 2. This for home consoles and PC. I don't know if it works for PlayStation Vita local play.
One Piece Burning Blood Cooperative Play:
SWAPPING WITH SPECTATORS If your friend has a wireless controller configured to be player two’s, you can switch battle control to that player without physically handing your controller over. During a battle, press L2 button or R2 button on player two’s controller to switch control over to the other controller. You can do this outside of 2P Play mode as well except online. * The other controller must be configured as player two’s controller. * This cannot be done if controller swapping is not available (such as when there’s no one to swap control to). * Any new save data or Trophies will be awarded to the original player, not the one using player two’s controller. * Consult the Move List in the Pause Menu for more details about each character’s moves.

I'm not surprised because the other One Piece games got the same treatment. However, I'm wondering if they will be detailed and not rush. The last 5 unknown DLC slots probably have something to do with it. I think we might get a Dressrosa story mode.
i feel the Unknown Cutscene may just be like
New Battle in Story Mode of Luffy VS Garp
the Cutscene being Luffy Punch Garp
but i dont think the last 5 mean a Dressrosa Story Mode Chapter
cause it be really short and would require people to also buy the 1st WANTED Pack since well
the only Dressrosa Fights we can currently do(when including WANTED PACK & Luffy Pack) are
Sabo VS Burgess
Luffy & Law VS Doflamingo
Luffy [Gear 4th] VS Doflamingo [Duel]
I find it really silly people still comparing this to J Stars Victory VS/Gundam VS games and saying that Spike Chunsoft should stick visual novels. This proves they don't know understand the battle system or know nothing about Spike.

As much as I like Sonic. No thanks. I am sticking to this. And I hope the last 5 unknown DLC slots are new playable characters that didn't make it in.

One Piece Burning Blood Official Japanese Website Update
Website: http://opbb.bn-ent.net/pc/special.html
Picture:
I might have to pick this game up before the render if the year. Lucci is one of my favorite antagonists in the series and was a tough bugger compared to some of Luffy's previous opponents (at least until he fought Doflamingo).
I hope they keep on adding cool characters to this game (Arlong, Mr. 1 and Kaidou would be most welcome).
By the time they have the chance to put Kaido, they would be already working on a sequel.

Quick questions. How will they add Kaido in this game when he's huge as hell? And how would he fight? Adding him would require sky and ground battles.

The same way they are puting Sengoku's Daibutsu form?
