We'll know for sure if the same thing happens again in another scene.! That's what I'm waiting for. If it's intended to be foreshadowing, I hope they'll do it a few more times to establish that. Until then though, I'm more inclined to believe the animators just threw it in for eagle-eyed fans to spot.

I heavily approve of the much shorter break between seasons, considering how much longer the current one has left to run.
They'll practically air back to back o_o -
Not really surprised about the wrong info, since Episode #21 is supposed be about…
! …Hearth's Warming Eve and the lack of a prolonged hiatus would mean a Christmas Episode airing in September or October.
Indeed, using the Episode #21 as parameter I calculate that there will still be around 15 weeks without episodes during this season (almost four months worth of hiatus). -

! Oh man, now THAT was an episode.
Loved it very much, especially the way the writer/animators were clearly having fun in the final 3rd.
! I also got a bit misty eyed when they showed the amount of guilt Luna still felt over the NM fiasco.
It was quite deep, and grounded her character even more. Now we need a Celestia focused episode. -

Not sure if this is my first post here, but hello
I just happened to rush through the first half of this season and I believe it had some great episodes in it. Ep. 7 (Discord) and especially the 100. was a total fangasm. Ep. 12 was very sweet and eyewatering, because there are always people you left behind when you have to change your school or move to another town.
And the midseason finale was just entertaining the whole time, although I expected a cliffhanger for the CMCs, considering the heavy cutie marks hints at the beginning of the season. So I really hope they get their cutie marks in the second half and the producers won't stall this until season 6. After that we can have sea ponies, I guess. -
Ugh, I've missed quite a few episodes (last one I saw was the 100th)
I'll try to catch up this Sunday.

I find it funny that one of the blind commentators kept lamenting and asking when we'd be getting a rarity episode (his favourite pony),

Just got done watching ep.14!
! It was pretty good. I honestly thought that Sassy Saddles was gonna become another villain in the end but thank god they didn't take that route. Also, I love how they show how it's like when you keep making the same thing over and over again, without getting the chance to make anything different whatsoever, to the point of feeling miserable since that's quite true in real life. Making the same thing over and over just to keep your customers/fans happy isn't always a good thing since there will be times you want to try different stuff in order to keep your passion and creativity spark going. Believe me, I've seen many artists feel that way at times.

Well, it seems I'm not caught up as usual, but uh….I watched the one with the yaks.
! Really thought Pinkie was gonna break into her psycho mode or something…..actually I really thought they would swing towards a moral that you shouldn't go out of your way to accommodate someone if they're gonna react like that (seriously, wanton destruction to everything??).
! Eh probably too mean-spirited, which is why I'm not a writer for this show (lol) But the moral they came up with was pretty nice in my opinion.
! Loved Pinkie narrating her quest and doing all that stuff in Manehattan in like an hour. Gonna love Pinkie. -
Episode 15 was really cool, I loved the film noir influences.

it was alright but i thought it was a little slow paced. I like how RD though Rarity was just being fashion obsessed the whole time, but Rarity actually knew what she was doing. That's why I like Rarity. She's not two dimentional. She's passionate and hard working. She always helps people out, even if it means doing things she doesn't like. She's smart and witty. She's compassionate.
I love how her and RD were having fun hanging out together. Those 2 have less in common than Rarity and AJ, but still had fun and enjoyed eachother's company.

I saw someone point out that both ponies are ambitious and want to chase their dreams, aiming for the stars.

Most of that time was spent with legal stuff. They needed to open a company for the crowdfunding, but since not all of them are American citizens that was more difficult than predicted. There was a lot of trademark checking too to prevent another C&D or even litigations. Even the very title of the game was approved only two months ago.
In the meantime they learned to use the new engine and created the neccessary development tools (in their spare time, pooling their own money), but the actual development barely started at all. They need know what their budget is before even beginning (and need the actual money to actually start).
