All of them get released usually. But at least it seems the majority of people are getting sick of the same crap over and over. Honestly this doesn't make these special anymore if they're just gonna do the same characters each wave.

What I can't believe is that they are making YET ANOTHER Zoro in that line… This is going to be his 5th, FIFTH piece in this line, and it's all him wearing the same outfit! Zoro doesn't get that many figures all in all compared to likes of Law and Ace and Sabo, but he still has way more than Sanji, for example, and he's just predominating this line. Even Luffy has only 2 pieces so far :/ Law also has two.

Either way I'm happy they are continuing the line at all. Since it's pretty much the best figure line ever out there. I'm waiting on recent Nami and Luffy in the mail. Really want to get Buggy this month too.

Heh, honestly that's not what I expected what I heard fanservice and OP…...but I have to remember the long line of girls my wife stood in to take a picture with open shirt Law statue at the OP Tower event. Speaking of fanservice....those new POPs of Robin and Hancock.....I think this might just spell the end of POP collecting for me.....not sure why Megahouse is seemingly killing the line intentionally....unless people actually willingly buy this garbage.

Just back home with a King Of Artist Luffy Regular edition…really really love it!
It was a steal as I purchased it in a store here in Roma for 15 € O_O so I had to BUY IT IMMEDIATELY!!!

I want the whole crew...but I want to wait for all the unknown nakama to join and buy them from a single line.
I don't really have the space to collect loads of stuff but I want the whole crew.

I really can't say why but to my eyes that Sabo POP looks horrible … XD his hair looks as if the sculptor just put playdoo on his head ... hosh I'm really unimpressed by newer releases. That new Zoro is okay but I wonder if okay is really good enough. For example, I'd like to know if the sculptor has any idea how a male butt should look like, on a healthy young man like Zoro (not on an anorexic guy who didn't eat for weeks). It's really not what I first check out or even give a damn about but it just looks horrible. It's not just 'no ass' it even dips in a little. No matter how little butt you have, it will not … dip in. Gods, not to mention that it came with the two swords broken from his hip so that I had to glue them back on. Mdgahouse's face sculpts look kinda off too in many cases ... I dunno why they can't just pay Banpresto’s sculptors to do the job right ...

They were originally scheduled for late September (The Megahobby website still says this: http://www.megahobby.jp/products/item/1612/ & http://www.megahobby.jp/products/item/1613/) As far as I am aware there was no notice of change.

I e-mailed Amiami and they admitted that the release date had changed and as a courtesy, have extended my payment due date until the end of the month.

I've dropped over £600 on Dragon Ball S.H. Figuarts this month, so can't afford it right now!! lol

Plus i've just had to pay for this BAMF!!

Well the problem with Zoro is not that they makes a lof of figure of him, it's that they keep using the same outfit version.
Out of the 4 Scultures, 4 of them are the timeskip outfit, one is half naked, only the first 2 looks great, the third and fourth have really weird faces.
Now if they makes another sculture of him (and i hope) i really wish for either dressrosa if they wanna use the timeskip or the cat outfit and if they use the pre time skip then there is so many outfit to use for Zoro, i wish for his outfit before joining luffy back when he was just searching for Mihawk and do some bounty hunting.

Also i see a lot of people complaining, but hey it was a vote, people have voted for their favorite and there is the winners of this round, i'm quite amused how people react toward urouge and say that he is not popular and won't sell when well people vote for him so their talk is nonsense.

I received my long awaited Zoro 10th Limited edition POP and he looks really great, better than what i expected!
Aside of the flatness of his crotch and butt which is just usual for male POP's the details are well made!

Yeah flat butts are pretty normal for POPs that's true. This Zoro's butt however is not flat … it's CONCAVE ... it's not just flat like those of many other male POPs before ... it's concave. it dips in ... no butt dips in .. it's flesh and muscle. it can be flat yeah but not concave. imo Megahouse really fucked that up big time. I mean, I showed my bf and he said the same thing. "that looks ridiculous, no butt looks like that!"

I'm displaying him in the front a bit turned on his left, i think he looks great like this!

About a good Sculture i will say the first one that was released in 2014(he is crouching in a niitoryuu style with his both swords horizontal), and the creator x creator one looks nice, though i found his plastic lighter and cheap…

I can't unsee it ToT I'm cursed when it comes to Zoro ... I've had 6 POPs of him (this included) and none was really 'right' if you know what I mean. damn, from all of those, I liked the SW one best ... the Movie Z one was nice too but sorry, too damn big. I display other figures beside him ...

I feel you, i paid 75€ shipping include for him, and even if i wish for a perfect Zoro, with Megahouse it's nearly impossible…But this pre time skip is good in overall, i mean in reality in hands he looks great, i really love it (he is displayed next to my monitor so i can check his badass aura lol)i can feel the pain but easily overlook the flaws.
I also owned all his POP's, and they are not that bad, my favorite is the sailing again, i also love the neo POP because i've always wanted to own this POP before the neo line was announced so it's my first Zoro POP~~ Film Z one is kickass, huge but awesome, i didn't preordered it because of the huge shipping, but i couldn't resist the sale he got later and despite the size i still display him along with few GLM and GLL cause they can fit with him xD

The one you linked is the one i didn't liked, the face is not Zoro, the pose in reality is leaning too much so i passed on it.

I've been looking at my picture too and i think they made his down body too thin, so when you look at it it's just so weird, but who will display him in that angle anyway, from the front he looks good so you can easily overlook the bad sides ;)
I do understand that preordering is not really something to do these days, or buying Portrait of Pirates, they are expensive, most of the time big and recently exclusive.
I've been really deceived by Megahouse move with their recents BB line, and making Corazon and Law bundled together and exclusive on top of that.
So many people are in the hype of Law's past so making it limited is kind of a bummer, this one would have sell really well in a normal release.
I just hope they will not put all their release exclusive from now on, it would be a huge mistakes as the popularity of this line is beyond Japan, they already hit down low their own reputation already with all the re-release play and picking the wrong characters to release at a wrong time.

I am now more interest by the banpresto's Creator x Creator,King of Artists, MSP's and Scultures lines, cheaper, a vast choice of characters, good quality!

Oh and about Banpresto, Hobby Link Japan announced that their distributor shut down and they won't honor the Banpresto's figures they offer to order (recently the Sanji Scultures, Zoro bust, Ace King of Artist)
I checked my account few days ago and found them listed as discontinued, so i've read they somewhere they won't honor them, what a bummer….
They said it's because those are supposed to be prize for Japan only, seems like they might not sell banpresto's items anymore!?
HLJ sometimes do that kind of things, few times it happened that they discontinued an item right after putting it on their website to say later "oops we couldn't order it after all sorry" by the time you realize it's sold out everywhere...i won't believe in HLJ anymore.

Well I'm glad for people who can still get loads of enjoyment out of that new Zoro POP, I just wish I could ignore the flaws. Sadly I can't. Lol, saying "he looks good from the front so it's easy to overlook the horrible body sculpt" is not an option to me. I'm sorry but I want my figures to look good from every angle, not just one. I do more with them than keeping them on their display shelf. I take fotos … how can you take good photos of that? That grinning face looks like some kind of disease so I can’t use it at all … I'll most likely gonna end up selling him again and losing a lot of money I could have used to buy like two great Banpresto figures ... I'd have rather bought a 3rd or 4th copy of that amazing Scultures Luffy ...

Yeah I've read the news regarding HLJ over at MFC .. it's sad to see that it will be even harder to get the prize figures from now on. Luckily Ive made all my preorders for future prize releases with BiJ.

Anyone know what calenders we are in store for this year? I can only find the creepy Naked guy one which is instantly DO NOT WANT. Unless they did a creepy Naked girl one. The Anime Calender I can only find one page of and it's basically the same characters from the guy calender so unsure. Not heard about the Chibi Calender or the Manga one yet however. Please don't let fanservice force me into not getting a One Piece calender ;-;

I blame Megahouse's choice of new sculptors to do some of their POPs recently. They've really not been up to scratch with what the original team were producing.

Back in the days, POP sculpts were pretty much exclusive to the 4 greats. We had continuity as they worked closely and adapted their styles to achieve congruence within a display:
Takashi Fukuda (Whitebeard, Garp, Rayleigh, Kizaru, Beckman) - King of Detail
MAS (Jinbe, Marco, Vista, Moria) - King of Colour
Yuki Ishiyama (Crocodile, SA Zoro, SA Usopp, SA Law, Shanks, Mihawk, SA Kuzan, Bellamy, Ace) - King of Pose
Ajiken (Hancock, Perona, SA Nami, Shirahoshi, SA Robin) - King of Ladies

IMHO things started going wrong around the time of the Edition-Z figures. All were done by new sculptors with a lack of experience and differing styles. The result was a collection that just didn't fit well together as a display. The releases started slowing down after that.
They did the same with the Nami Mugiwara versions and took chances with Sadi-chan (Inada Masaki, whose now gone on to do the BB line). It was also questionable for them to have Ajiken do Cavendish!!

SA Rebecca, SA Killer and this new Zoro have also been victims of these new artists. Atleast Sabo & Koala are a welcome return of classic sculptors.

By the way, does anyone know who Barto and Corazons sculptors are?

The source I found had both Corazon and Law listed as Pinpoint but with MAS for Corazon and 五十嵐玄 for Law (same who did new world Killer). So I assume Pinpoint is the group, much like PlasticArts and has different sculptors.

Edit: Yeah it's like I assumed, Pinpoint is the Sculpting Company and MAS and 五十嵐玄 (Igarashi Gen/Ken, is it? The POP blog has him as Igarashi Xuan … gods, I hate encrypting names written in kanji XD) are the sculptors working for them. For example, they list many POPs as their work, like Garp or Enel, so those sculptors seem to be working for Pinpoint too.

Well i like to take pictures of my figures too, and i think you can shot Zoro plenty of different side that are interesting, but the side angle isn't just a very good angle to begin with so i don't see the use of it.
I also find the smiling face good, in the end it's all about taste and point of view so it's ok ^_^

Well unlike me i had them on HLJ and now i'm soon to see my preorder go to waste, well i will just get them upon release, this is what i did with Luffy strong world Scultures, this one was a must have ~~

About sculptors of the POP line, i agree with Kanji, megahouse shall keep the 4 emperors (lol) though i found Ajiken going like Tony Taka same faces…

I still found my Zoro 10th nice, not one of the best sculpting but it worth to be in my collection, as a fan!

Personally, his pose is the #1 thing that I like about this Sculture (also, it was a xmas gift and my first Sculture). He was released when the qualities of Scultures started improving, which was during the release of Round 2; 2 months before Crocodile. So the paint job is fairly decent. Unfortunately, he's VERY unstable without his black support piece. Due to the pose, all of his weight is on his left leg, but since he's leaning forward he'll end up tipping towards his left without it. And depending on the angle, his sides might seem a bit wonky.

Also, I don't know if it's just mine, but I can't push his right leg flush against his clothes; the peg is just a bit too big for the hole. Nevertheless it somewhat fits.

Overall, I'd rank this Scultures Zoro as my #1 fave out of all the other Zoros.

I was hoping for 29/30th for Variable action heros Zoro.

Yeah, Zoro release and Luffy re-release still tentative for 30th. I've pretty much lost interest in Megahouse products now though…..........

Nami Ver.BB (last POP release of 2015!!) slated for 28th. We've also got Dimension of Dragonball Golden Frieza scheduled for 25th, and Vegeta slipped back to October 1st it seems. yawn nothing really exciting this month......

Going to pickup DOD Trunks in October and maybe Majin Buu in November, but then i'm done with the company.................unless Megahobby Expo can persuade me otherwise with some amazing new POPs.

I'm not really interest in much one piece megahouse items either, Zoro Variable action heroes looks really nice so i'm keen to buy it, but no POP really caught my interest aside of few already released i didn't got upon release.
POP line pretty much dead now, i'm still checking Cora/Law one though.

! We already have a Cavendish and Barto POP! lol You referring to the 7 leaders of the new Strawhat alliance? If so I could only imagine seeing Sai and Ideo due to scale issues with the others…........... According to the character poll, the next most popular character not yet to have a Sailing Again POP would be Smoker (24). After that the list goes like this:

31. Kyros (too late imho)
33. Bepo (will come when the SH's reach Zou)
34. Buggy (will come when they meet him again in the New Word)
35. Jinbe (will get a new figure when he finally joins the crew)
37. Caesar Clown (one of my most wanted figures!!)
37. Coby (will come when they meet him again in the New Word)

42. Senior Pink (not gonna happen)
43. Pell (not gonna happen)
48. Urouge (could happen if he gets more screen time given his relationship with Kaido)

Yup i was referring to this!
I have Bartolomeo, but missed Cavendish and his price is awfully high, if only they could re-release him like they did for Franky MAXIMUM
I'm also interest in the rest, though two of them could be pricey due to their size, it's not impossible either (but it would be out of scale) i think they must go for it now that the news is fresh!

There is more characters who gets potential POP but dressrosa one are likely to be over now, like you said, the most popular will get more and more version, but i suggest MH to really think about the Chap 800 ones, like mad xD

However the manga and TV series popularity still going strong in Japan. now days we hardly see new one piece figures in the news :(

OK, let me re-phrase that. Smoker is the 2nd most popular character who has been officially shown post time skip and doesn't have a Sailing Again POP (The first is in fact Hancock if you don't count the Ver. BLUE!!). If you're talking about characters in general then you could argue that Ace is the most popular not to have one!

Plus Marco (12) and Shanks (14) would come ahead of Crocodile I'm afraid

Let's wait for the hype to start to building for the new unnamed 13th One Piece movie. We had a lot of momentum around Strong World and Z, so hopefully this one will be massive!! I mean just look at how much merch the Marvel and Star Wars franchise are pumping out with Avengers and Episode VII this year!! Equally, DB has had a huge rise in popularity with Revival of F and the new Super series.

Next summer could be the kick start One Piece needs!!

Is Megahouse really release their figures regarding the polls?
because in that case there is a huge in their plan cause they shall release some popular characters and yet they gave us mas lucci, kid, killer etc…
and i don't count the tons of nami and hancock.

Just curious, is there a particular time when we learn of more WCF releases? Just recently had the urge to collect a few.

Looking at the Wiki a new set was released this month. Do we just learn of new sets as they come out? Maybe a month before? It also looks like they slowed down production for 2015.

I'm wondering how they're going to handle all the new characters revealed in the Dressrosa arc lol. It's going to take several sets to get them all done. And they better go back and do Monet when they do the Donquixote Family. :V
