Lunatic chapter 3 is done….involved some lucky hits, but the thin path to the fortress doors asked as a great chokepoint for Frederick+Vaike. Reimi was way easier than I thought, since the Hammer completely destroys her in two hits.
chapter 4 was....woof.
Arena Ferox has to be the most open map in the history of Fire Emblem, but mercifully, not all of the enemies rush you in the same turn. Again Frederick saved the day, armed with Chrom (for speed boosts) and Iron Sword to combat the fighters, especially those with Short Axes (lowered hit rate)
Mages were nasty, but Kellam's Javelin on Frederick serves him well. Vaike took some major damage fighting the knights, but the Hammer again saved the day.
I had to kill all of the enemies before Lucina got in range. Silver Lance softened her up, and Robin finished her with Thunder (which thankfully did not miss at 72% hit)
Unforunately, chapter 5 is an absolute disaster in the making. Even in the lower difficulties, the presence of wvyerns, dark mages, and fragile Ricken/Maribelle makes this map a wake-up call for the early game. It's gonna be hell.
because who the hell needs the weapon triangle, right?
