so "GAROH" not "GAROU" ?

so "GAROH" not "GAROU" ?
Garou means "hungry wolf" (at least that's what it was suppossed to mean in the Fatal Fury saga) Garoh seems like a typo to me.
-
Japanese editors/authors often make mistakes when it comes to transliteration. Prime examples for me are "Iceburg" in One Piece and the Genei Ryodan names in the first HXH guidebook.
-
Well, since Garou and Garoh is one and same, i don't see much problem with it.
-
the new chapter is out nerieru scans website
TIL Charanko have a senpai that looks like an uglier Goda

I hope the fille.. cough.. tournament arc doesnt end as a bunch of Mr. Satan trying to hit Saitama and Saitama trying very hard to not kill them.

I hope that won't be. A tourney in OPM is different stuff that a tourney in DB. It's a totally different set up. For the worst a tourney in OPM would be a parody of the shounen tourney cliche (and that could be good), but I think OPM is beyond that and has its own original plot on its own.
To me is like: A tourney in One Piece? The hell, we'll have bear with it. A tourney in OPM? Well it'll be fun.
-
It could be a good chance in making this Suryu guy relevant, he would be to be at least S Class level.
-
What does it mean Senior in that context? Like a teacher?

A guy who has been more years at the dojo / has an higher dan.
I guess that veteran students help teaching the basics to beginners.

What is it with this thread and people not linking to the new chapter?

They see it as filler, so far the beginning of this arc is like Dressrosa, with MC forced to hide his real identity and then meeting some random fodder.
-
Seems like a terrible analogy considering how Bart, Cabbage, and Sai came out to be. Not to mention Bellamy.
-
I thought of the parallel too. I'm sure it will be completely different though.
Surely the idiot will think that Charanko lost his hairs and mock him. I don't think that his identity will be revealed yet. -
Garou isn't in the tournament? D:
How bad. -
@Shobu:
Garou isn't in the tournament? D:
How bad.I think he will probably appear to take the spot of some random competitor late in the game.
-
@Shobu:
Garou isn't in the tournament? D:
How bad.He probably has beaten most of those fighters since he was a dojo hunter before becoming a hero hunter.
-
@Shobu:
Garou isn't in the tournament? D:
How bad.He is going after King the last time we saw him.
-
-
LR last appearance in the original was when Garou beat him up, but nobody complained.
-
I'm surprised nobody has brought up Sneck being one of the contestants.
-

Actually, 餓狼 means hungry wolf (and you can write that as garou, garoh, garō), but the character's name is written as ガロウ, in katakana, usually used when adapting foreign words to japanese.
ONE uses katakana for almost every character's name, even the ones that sound japanese, so he probably would want romanizations that would make the names look "less japanese" and more foreign than the opposite. With Garoh being more westerly than Garou/Garō, I believe that is actually what ONE was going after. -
How exactly is "Garoh" more foreign than "Garou" in Romaji?
-
If you can live with Oars and Hajrudin, Garoh should be no problem for you.

I've been trying to post this since Thursday and it shocks me that no one has beaten me to the punch
@AnimeNewsNetwork:
The anime has cast Saori Hayami as Blizzard of Hell (Jigoku no Fubuki), and Mamoru Miyano as Sweet Mask (Amai Mask). In addition, the magazine notes that JAM Project is performing the anime's opening theme, and Hiroko Moriguchi is performing the ending theme. The opening theme's CD single is slated for an October 21 release, and the ending theme's CD single is slated for a November 18 release.
The casting of Fubuki must mean that we're either getting the side chapters animated, or we're going beyond the Boros arc and right in front of Garou. Exciting stuff.
-
Season 1 should cover up to Boros Arc, it should mean we are getting her side chapter animated.
-
That second one was great. The end panel was priceless.

It seems that Murata's favorite character is Fubuki.
-
Considering that the only other female character that we have to this point is a Loli esper, yeah, Fubuki has to carry the fanservice herself.
-
She looks like a sultry version of Mamori.

Its like that one time she turned evil during the Field Day at Deimon
-
I hope the anime will have a really fantastic animation
-
After my 12th time checking on this thread today. I finally notice Saitama and Genos behind Fubuki.
-

Haha yeah. I thought about that too. I like Murata's character designs. Can't really fault him for reusing and tweaking. I think we've seen at least one version of an Eyeshield character translated into a hero or villain at this point. Same with those one shots he did.
-
78 was translated http://imgur.com/a/C3oUD
The previous chapter was completely redone. The ugly senior turned out to be Bang's ex-disciple and he never tried to hit Saitama.
I cant even imagine how ONE could have been responsible for writing this borefest.
-
Onepunch Man drawn by Murata turns into shiet lately.
Too much of Murata being "creative" on his own.
If he would continue to adapt source material with some additions to fights we would have one of best mangas ever.. but now we have one of those wasted potential mangas.
No way that this chapter was written by One.. redrawing whole chapter and giving it completely different content is a joke.

A tad of an overreaction don't you think?
