Soooo, I have a question for you guys.
Is there anyone else who found case 3-5 (final case of T&T) to be… predictable?
Don't get me wrong, the story is great, the main characers are amazing, and there are some nice plot twists.
But the thing is, I saw most of the major twists coming long before the game even started to hint at them.
I constantly felt like I have to wait until the game catches up with me, because I was solving mysteries way faster than Pheonix and other characters did.
! I knew Elise was Misty, I knew the picture was upside-down and they did the penedulum thing, I knew Maya channeld Dhalia, I knew Godot was the murdered, all that long before the actual reveal.
The story was really great, but I felt no tension whatsoever, there were no mindblowing moments for me.
Just two month ago I was at the edge of my seat while playing Shelly the Killer case, which I find to be the best case in the entire trilogy (the good ending, bad ending sucks) THAT was mindblowing. The twist in case 2-2 was mindblowing. Case 1-4 and 1-5 were mindblowing. But 3-5? I don't know what happened, but it just didn't work for me in terms of tension, excitement and shock. It was, simply put, predictable and that is what ruined it for me.
Anyone feels the same way, or am I exception to a rule?
IDK, maybe I shouldn't have played the third part right after the second… I just feel sad I wasn't able to be blown away like everyone else...
