Seven Deadly Sins

If Janko words gets to Ban and wakes up, then that increases the chances she is the reincarnation of Ellaine.
-
Can't say I am surprise by Gerald. I expected this much from her. At least she can recognize that she is being ridiculous. Now the question is if she is going to be "redeemed" which would make me roll my eyes.
So king is fighting the beast by himself? I'm not sure about his chance since Meliodas used Albion's own fire power to finish him. But with Ban struck to the tree it may grow even more making king more powerful in the process.
Considering Chastefiol could petrify Ban I suppose it's faire that he could be rendered powerless by one the tree roots.
-
Another week, another good Sins chapter. The little diabolic fairy is as devilish as I had hoped for her to be. Taunting Ban like that only to then impale him in such a cruel manner was as magnificent as a villain's action can get. Or should we call her an antagonist since there is a good cause behind her actions?
-

Really? She is Janko now?
-
Well the Anime is about to get an anime original ending.
They changed the Hendricksen vs Dreyfus/Griamor fight into Hendricksen vs Dreyfus/Slader.
Uuuuggghhhh. And I thought the anime started off pretty well too.
-
Damn that logical bitch! Gerard's got the makings of an excellent short-term villain but I really hope she comes back around. King really needs someone on his side and seeing King recoil at her treatment of Ban should help her heel-face it up.

It started going downhill right after King joined, which is a huge shame since the tournament arc has been my favorite so far.
-
I shall name the Albion from Camelot, Wario while I call this one Waluigi.
-
Really? She is Janko now?
Thats how Ban often calls her.
He might call her Jericho again if she saves him from Gerhard, She is only that can save him, its time for Jericho to unlock her real power.

How can she if Elaine's soul is still in the capital of the dead?

How can she if Elaine's soul is still in the capital of the dead?
There is an extra chapter covering when little Jericho asks Ban to get married. I think it was from the Dreyfus/Hendricksen side story..
Jericho is currently 18 and actually fits in the timeline after Elaine died, what if Elains soul is part of Jerichos like Kikyo/Kagome?
Here are the Volume extras for those who havent read them yet..
-
I dont see the little Jericho part.

We already saw that Elaine's soul was at the city of death and I don't remember Jericho and Elaine being alike. Plus I think she would mention being of the verge of reincarnation to Bab. She seemed pretty fine with Ban planning to revivw her.

You remember what Lostvaine do right?
Yes but I didn't make the connection. I was searching for something in this chapter or some big secret.
I don't think it was a forshadowing but it's a nice connection to make.
But on the subject do we agree that Meliodas limit is 5 clones(one for each hole in the sword)?

Wasn't surprised, but was surprised she wanted him there for eternity. Wasn't his few times already practically replaced more than half of what was lost, ( and that was conceivably not regular, and for either a few days, weeks, or months straight, so decently fast); does she want the forest to grow to cover the entire earth?
Forgot about that tree thing, was beginning to get annoyed with making Ban the statue the only way to fight him, and really quickly. But with that makes a bit more sense.
Still wonder why Ban loves using snatch for practical jokes against friends, but hardly when seriously fighting?Damn that logical bitch! Agreed, this does seem the arc of good/ bad quick changeovers.

We're talking about a forest that is even ancient enough to have seen the demon clan existence-Which would mean more than 3 thousnads years - and with the fountain of life constanly runnig. I'm sure occasional visits is far from bringing the forest to his old glory. Not only that but It needs to be continuous.

Still wonder why Ban loves using snatch for practical jokes against friends, but hardly when seriously fighting?Well he really was trying to make Gerald understands the fight was silly. He wasn't fighting at all. Then Elaine was attacked.

I'll roll my eyes either way.

By the by, does anyone know of any video where I can watch the author draw? I'm really interested in his style, and I'd like to see if I've understood it correctly or if I'm just making things up in my head.
-
Well, they omitted Griamor from the Hendy fight, it was just Hendy vs Dreyfus.
No Fraudrin orchestating Elizabeths blood for the revival of the Demons clan.
Animation was mostly Toei-tier.
-
The anime has been cutting a lot of the manga parts.
I like the anime, the King and Diane episode was well directed, but all in all it is too fast so far.
And about the special I want to know where Escanor Rogers takes his power from.
-
Escanor remembers me more of Leon S. Kennedy
-
The King/Helbram scenes were the best part of todays episode.
Next week episode its summarized in this.
Hawk is 16.
Eli is Gohan
Hendy is Cell
Sins are the Z-Fighters.
-
Chapter's out.
And…poor fairies, man.

I wonder if King has to pay some sort of price for unleashing his Sacred Treasure like that.
Then again, seeing his brethren sacrifice themselves in front of his eyes in order to protect him should be punishment enough, don't you think? It is ridiculous though just how strong those weapons can be. Both King and Meliodas needed just one powerful strike to literally obliterate their opponents. Going from there in terms of power and large-scale attacks could be a tricky puzzle to solve for Nakaba.
-
I think he has paid enough; also it's pretty sure those albions are just fodders, and the sins will have a difficult time even using his greatest powers. Anyway, the scale of powers is not the strongest point in the story, but to me neither it's much important.
I wonder who this Geharde may be. As puppet-Helbram in the past, she seems to be against King.

Fodder. . .I don't know. According to the Scouter, their power level is above Hendricksen's. I know many more things factor in their fighting performance, like techniques they can use, etc. . .and these Albions seem pretty mindless. But yeah, Word of God says they're super mega strong. Unless Hendricksen was this manga's Raditz and we'll start using as a (laughable) measuring stick from now on. "Lol, look at him, he's barely 3 Hendricksen's worth, what a pansy!".
As for Geharde/Gerard/Gasparde/Graham Bell. . .I might fail at narrative understanding, but she doesn't seem that evil to me? She seems legitimately concerned about the forest, she took the extreme route and she's definitely ubber douchey towards Ban (and humans in general, it seems), but loyal towards the fairy realm and, specially, the Fairy King.
You know, "the greater good" and all that jazz.

His fingernails.
While Mel didnt even use his trump card with his sacred treasure, that tells you the difference between him and King.

It seems next chapter the 10 comandaments will take action and a certain forum member can stop ranting about their abstinence.

In this pic of the ancient war, the more high a character is in the drawing the more power he/she has:
Where would you locate the albions… (And it's a shame they aren't drawn there, since they also fought the war :ninja:)
As for Geharde, it's only that she tried to persuade King to do the wrong thing. Pretty much as that Helbram ghost or image did.
-
The great Holy tree dies again? King really can't catch a break this past millenary.

Well Meliodas always had that avantage of being able to use the opponent's power against him and King seems to not be good at using the true form of Chastefiol for now(bleeding, hoping this time it works). And technically they were already at the top of the food chain years ago.

Where the hell does that drawing come from? It's pretty awesome.
I'd say the Albions should go above the Red Devils at the middle of the page at the very least, right? Since, apparently, a red devil can't give Hendricksen a powerful enough boost to duke it out with the sins, but the ¿grey? one did. So the Albion should be between the red and grey devils.
I think Ghost Helbram did think about King's safety first and foremost, the was no ill will in his dialogue. And Geharde tried to do mostly the same, to keep the King safe.
Nothing pointed towards King's ubber final attack, considering he was getting his ass wooped, so they thought all hope was lost and at least the King should've been saved. It appears he still had a last resort and won the fight, but they all stood to save the king, all the fairies did, that's why they were getting sliced and cut in half left and right . . .
-
That's from the anime's first opening, it showed the grey demons and Escanor's sacred weapon before they appeared in the manga.
But there's something weird about that one image though, it's slightly different as it's missing what apparently is a high class demon (or demon/angel hybrid as imo what Meliodas is) as seen here, and Hawk is has been added instead.
-
I wonder where Jericho is…
Regular chapter, usually King is not of my liking. He's so victimized that bothers me.
-
Tha battle drawing came in the Handbook. I took it from this thread where you can feast your eyes. I suspect it's the original and other one posted by Sauza is the altered one; but not sure. The key is what was first the anime or the handbook?
-
It seems next chapter the 10 comandaments will take action and a certain forum member can stop ranting about their abstinence.
Probably someone that doesnt like the Elaine/Ban relationship because Elaine is a "loli".

Considering they forced the best knigths of the country to use their best tricks and weapons(including the fairy king), I doubt they would become fodder.
I wonder who this Geharde may be. As puppet-Helbram in the past, she seems to be against King.
She serves the fairy king. And she was trying to save King( and the forest by proxy). Sacrifice so the MC can live another day is not being against him or do the wrong thing. Normally it is suppose to be seen in a positive light.

Close to Ban.

He must have been cursed after leaving his forest. He really hasn't catch a break since then.
-
Dang, now that was a good chapter. A little surprised Ban didn't try to help out to protect the forest too given all the work he put into growing it. Maybe he just trusted King to handle it?
-
No matter what, seeing nails being peeled of always makes me immensely uncomfortable
Also, I said this a couple of times, but I can't emphasize enough how good the battle choreography is. The reading experience is like the opposite of Magi, I always know what's going on
and how great was that page with lanky Albion disintegrating -

He was either still incapacited from the empaling or protecting Elaine body. It's not like hewas attached to the fairies.
-

Well yeah, Ban could care less about the other fairies since he's only selfless towards a select few. The forest itself, though, should mean a lot to him since that's what Elaine spent all those years protecting, and what he's been nurturing ever since.

I'll roll my eyes either way.
Took some time to look it up. Not sure now either way, but Was under the understanding that the water just needed to be there, not necessarily anywhere near constantly flowing in order to be "effective". Unlike what Geharde wants which maybe if not immediately, at some point, (even possibly thousands of years later), definitely seems like overkill.
Willing to use for jokes indicates no real 'limits' to what he'll use it for, while odd, no big deal I guess.
Yeah been having that "rolling my eyes" feeling since Dreyfus, and this feeling he and Hendricksen will still be puppets redeemed by the end of the series anyway.

???…
Wasn't she right there in the beginning of the chapter, as mentioned, near Ban?Actually like King, but this chapter did feel weird with the way - too - quick- for - me 180 degree attitude change. Understand the speed, though it still felt forced. And that they had to sacrifice themselves before he'd do the same seems counterintuitive for a protagonist in this manga, but w. e..
-
when Hellbram says that the fairies have beento lazy lately, I wonder if some of them will participate in the battle against the 10 commandements. Now that King has regain their trust, he could not leave alone this time.

I generally like the rapid pacing of the series but I agree here. The change felt too quick, but it's not like he didn't earn it. We just don't have Oda's page-worth of panels of teary, awe-struck observers realizing how hard King is fighting for them and have to assume it happens offscreen. Nothing wrong with that, but it just feels abrupt considering what we're used to with One Piece.
-

He promised he would revive the tree and he did so. When face with making sure Elaine bosy stays alright and saving the forest he is choosing the first without hesitation. At least i think so.
-
Luckily not all the mangakas do the same things than Oda. It would be hell boring.
