@Robby:
What kind of team did you use for that sort of streak?
@Nobodyman:
Sure. Just out of curiosity.
My lead pair consists of a Yache Berry Garchomp (EQ, DClaw, Rock Slide, and Protect/ 252-252 attack/speed spread) and a Focus Sash Gengar (Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Dazzling Gleam, and Protect/252-252 s-attack/speed spread). My back-up are a bulky Assault Vest Rotom-W (Discharge, Thunderbolt, Hydro Pump, and Shadow Ball/ defensive spread) and a fairly bulky Mega Scizor (BPunch, Protect, X-Scissor, and Brick Break/EVs are mostly used on HP and attack).
Usually the two Gs manage to take out the opposition's lead pair quite effectively with enough energy left to deal some hefty damage to the remaining mons. Rotom and Scizor then take care of the rest or come in early when dealing with tricky opponents.
What good does that do? The trainers are randomly generated (aren't they?) and your team is already locked in before you know.
The basic idea is a random generator. But even that one has its patterns concerning the trainers' mons and their likely spreads and movesets. There's a number of lists online detailing quite meticulously what trainers use which pokemon after all. The only thing really random is which type of trainer will walk down those stairs. And even that seems to have a pattern seeing how veterans- the strongest fellas using legendary mons only- tend to pop up more often during the end and the beginning of any x-hundred run. The middle section (roughly x30s-x75s) sees mostly weaker opponents appear. But that's just me thinking out loud.
Well, if you don't mind, yeah, let me get back to you in about two hours.
And no, no battle capsules.
Oh, my bad. I didn't think you'd need them this early. I'm afraid I won't be able to trade with you till two weeks from now. :/
