thoughts/impression
I wish the characters had more move, maybe I just keep mixing it up with Grand Battle. There are 2 Hard Attacks and then the Normal 2-3 light attacks/combos.
I wish everybody or atleast the straw hats wasn't/weren't locked. You only get Luffy, Brook, Nami and Usopp.
Hard throwing seems OP. I can just throw the CPU off the stage and they fly far. Items are pretty fun, but I don't think you can throw them (some you can like boxes, but guns and what not can't).
The support item is kind of weird. You will find a bounty poster and then you can use them, on-top of your other support, so they are like items. It seems unnecessary, since you already have support characters, so why make item/one time use support characters.
The normal support system is ok. You pick your fighter, support, and then 1 koma character(s) if you will, JSS/JUS. Each character can have multiple 1 komas, but they can't be the same character, IIRC.
Some characters have special abilities. IIRC, It is X and down. Like Brook will play a tune, and then right next to his health bar, you get musical notes. You color them in when you attack. You start off with a speed boost and once you fill it up, you press X and down again, and he also gains defense too. IIRC, this uses 1 SP on the bar though.
The few stages I played we fun, like The MF stage. There are cannons in the stage. If you get into one, it will launch you into the background and then Garp will punch said player back into the foreground. The stages seem to be sprites as well as the other background characters too. They don't remove them either if you are playing as one.
Specials are annoying locked. IIRC you have to level up to unlock them.
If you are switching out and get hit, the character you called back will be dazed and on the field, so you have to pick them up, otherwise they will be x'ed out on the touch screen.
Like JUS/JSS, you make a deck and then you can save it, 2 fighters, 2 supports and then multiple Komas. How many Komas, depends on your level. With that said, you have to unlock the specials.
It more or less seems like Gigant Battle 3, rather than Grand Battle.

_So, are confirmed only 37 Playable Characters?
OK, we have to wait for a sequel.
Fuck Ganbarion._ -
It was to be expected, not a bad number for the first game of the series ( assuming there'll be more ).
Also, thanks Jojolion.
-
No problem Devil G.
There's a lot of support characters in this game lol. I'll pull up a list of all of them once I beat the game.
-
Thank you Redon for every single scan since the beginning!
-
Oh! the campaign looks really funny, thought the AI doesn't seem very aggressive. Maybe because it's just the start.
LoL Kin is throwing Momo afer every attack. -
I expected 30-40 PC. So, it falls within my prediction.
Hopefully, it will be the first of many titles. A new game every year until the end of the 3DS lifetime would be great. -
Pacifista, Chopperman and Big Mom. -
A Big Mom support? That's awesome. I like that they're focusing on newer characters, they can add the older ones further down the line, in future releases.

Hey guys i have question.
I want to know the number of basic attack.
when i saw the play movies i think character have few move.
right? is less than gigabattle 2????

I think most characters have 6 basic attacks. add 4 more for hard attacks.
Also, I hope the game gets better. it is super repetitive. I'm on the 2nd map. When it comes to Ko battles, I win by like 20 points. coin battles are a breeze too. To make matters worse, out of the 2 maps,we will say about 30 vs matches, I have only been playing on 2 maps, with the sunny being the most common map.
combo that with a lack of playable characters and locked moves, I find this game boring. Unlike in gigantic battle, there are no objectives, like bingo guard 3 times or anything. I wish there was a Grand Battle mode, aside from the arcade-like mode that was in gigantic battle.

Did someone upload the opening?

Pretty much how I feel.
I find it annoying that you have to conquer x amount of land in order to move on, rather than just beat the map. I'm 5 shy of going onto the third map.
I also have the habbit of mashing A when I get characters, which means I accidentally select join crew, lol.
I also find the the AI seems to spike. They are for the most part, stupidly easy, but you will come across a match where they bingo guard and kick some ass.
Also, I love the Camie & Pappug. Camie spins Pappug around and then throws him accidentally. She makes this face throughout most of the support animation:
It cracks me up all of the time….Plus it is a pretty good support too.
-
OMG Pekoms support =
Fair enough. -
Umm,those with the physical copy of the game, anybody mind sharing the one piece treasure cruise code if they don't need it? It provides some evolution materials in game which are super useful and hard to get. But if y'all want the codes to urself then that's cool :)
-

OK. I will send you the code via PM.
-
Does anyone know about the per-order incentives, are they BGM arrangements of We Are, We Go and Wake Up or just the original tracks?
-
-
Got official guidebook today
-
For anybody that has the game, on the third map it says 35/40 and won't let me play it. What do i need to do? I rebeat the first map, but nothing changed.
-
Does anyone have also trouble to redeem the Codes for the Themes and the BGMs? I enter them in eShop and both gets me Error Code 007-1221. Anyone an Idea how to solve this? Its not so important to get both since I don't need them for the Game but it would be nice.
Also orderd my Guide Book today, looking forward to it. So far I'm loving the Game, great Fighting but yeah Storymode so far is not so great, maybe if I understand alle the Rules.

You have to start it over and get the last three maps. On the land sections you already beat press A on them and then press start.
You have to redeem the BGM on the game's code thing. I couldn't redeem my theme though on my digital version.

What do you mean Games code thing? I don't find an Menü Ingame to redeem codes like in Unlimited World Red.
Edit: Found both the In Game Buy Menü to redeem BGM and the Design Shop to redeem Code there, thanks again for pointimng out. Problem is i get and Error Code then I try to download the BGM, so maybe its not up yet.
Edit2: After selecting from List the Download worked.

It's the blue option before you pick your save data.

do you unlock more moves later? I'm feeling underwhelmed with the characters barely having a moveset compared to gigant battle games
Also, how do I use the special/super attack that takes 2 SP? do you need a teammate for it? -

Also, how do I use the special/super attack that takes 2 SP? do you need a teammate for it?Imo have the Characters a good amount of moves and no no Unlocking so far imo. Long Time since I played Gigant Battle but the Battle Gameplay is more Fun here for me.
In case for the Special, you have to buy the second regular Special that takes 2 SP in the Shop and the one you use with R is the Teamspecial you can only use when you have 2 Characters who fits. Like Luffy and Hancock can do Perfum Femur Elephant Gatling. I believe Sanji and Hancock have a Teamattack too or Sanji and Zorro. But I'm not that far, still on the Second map right before getting Sanji :) -
_Got the game yesterday. And the Guidebook next Monday.
http://oi57.tinypic.com/2crax5x.jpg
http://oi59.tinypic.com/2mo49c4.jpgThe game is funny,
Ucy, Carue, Megalo, Lassoo etc… are really cool addition.
Bt I can't believe there are 50 Supports....Also the Moveset is too poor, guys.
Only few moves. 2 buttons for Combos are really useless...Well, I'm still at the beginning anyway.
Expecting a Sequel._

Could anyone tell me what bartolomeos moveset is like? have you guys noticed any tiers of the characters yet?
Hoping this game is coming to the west

Having Bartolomeo played yesterday and his Moveset is quite good and funny. And he is really strong, he is using his Barriers very cool.
