Toei tends to finish episodes at the last second, so maybe they didn't have time to completely redraw the frames, but instead added a shadow over it. Wouldn't surprise me if that wasn't the case though.

Her hair color on the left looks orange/blonde and the one sticking out on the right looks like brown..

Meh, take it with a grain of salt. I doubt we'll ever get official colorization from Oda though… unless the next volume shows a few of the Straw Hat match ups along with Luffy and Doflamingo.

Well Yasopp's hair was close, in the Manga it was inked black often but was blond in colors… think another character was same, Mr.4? I can't remember.

I don't think any member of an antagonist group has never been shown in color (either volume or color spread).

Buggy, Kuro, Krieg, Arlong, Wapol, Baroque Works, Priests, Foxy, CP9, Moriah, Impel Down, New Fishman Pirates…

Can only think of Vergo.

Yeah but one thing is coloring green/blue/etc something that is dark/black in the manga. But coloring it WHITE is the opposite of the intended goal.

Well, there's the classic example of Kuma. Jacket's inked in in the manga, the anime colors it black accordingly…then on that poster and Vol. 49 Oda colors it road-cone orange (then later changed it to be appropriately dark, but the point still stands).

I mean, orange is one thing, but white is another. It's one of the three colors Oda can use on his usual pages.

BTW I intend to make another as the first one was colored while I had friends hanging around at home, and they insisted on some colors on the same way children will insist on candies if you take them along to the grocery store.

I did hear the idea from tumblr of Law's color scheme being based off Corazon's (like his feather collar on the way to Dressrosa and his Corazon hoodie) and idk I like the idea.

Yeah, I read that one too. And that´s why I made another version as well. I gave him the blue-black feathers Law´s shirt has before he put on that Corazón coat.

Looks good! Like a mix of DD's and Law's colors. I also intended to that with the pants. He does wear 2 different shoes, doesn't he? In the chapter one looks more open than the other. Just like in your drawing. P.S.: Never let others decide how to draw or color your art when you could do it better! I had similar experiences with friends. I had to draw a green fairy for a friend and she insisted her dress to be dark red and blond hair and normal skin colour. My only thought was: "and how should someone recognize it as green fairy, if there is no green in there!?"

I get what you mean. Normally I´d use my own color choices, but when I made the first drawing I had literally no ideas of which colors to use, and since my friends live very far apart and we seldom meet in person, I got excited about having them around and doing something together. And last but not least, my eyes are very sensitive as of lately and most of the time I wear sunglasses even indoors, and they do alter the way I perceive colors sometimes (althought most of the time I can´t tell if I´m wearing the sunglasses or the normal glasses :B)

So, yeah, when I got a closer look, I didn´t really like the first scheme that much. And as for the shoes: I thought Oda got mixed up, or accidentally inked too much, but as it was pointed out on the chapter topic, he indeed wears two different shoes. No wonder he´s falling on his ass over and over.

I can see it now :D and I like your color choice.

Personally I started doing colour preds as fanarts because my color technique is nothing special, so it wouldn´t stand out at all in a sea of identical (yet different in color) pictures.

I´ve been collecting Corazón´s fanarts, so far I have over 80. Most of the art I stumbled upon was posted (or shared, but rarely sourced…) on tumblr under the "corazon", "donquixote-corazon" or "corazon-donquixote" tags.

decent choice of colour, while is fun trying to predict what the original colours will be, i tend to like doing what i think fit best the character.

Definitely, I think it would be nice if we also posted "colour opinions" for characters who already had their colors revealed but we think they… don´t really fit them.

I´m really tempted to do one for Diamante, for example.
