@Foolio:
My thoughts so far:
-Level 9 CPUs are a goddamn joke. Probably around what level 6 CPUs were in Brawl.
-Link: aerial down + A got nerfed.
-Pikachu: pretty solid, not sure how I feel about the new thunder
-Mario: fuck Fludd
-Megaman: at first, I was struggling to set the pace. Finally I realized it's all about an anti-air and spacing game. Make your opponents jump around by spamming projectiles and the annoyingly long-range ground A shooting moves. When you get them to try jumping in, you punish with the ridiculously good forward aerial A and up aerial A. It's deceptive because Megaman has the long-range running A spin and also a brutally powerful down A smash, but they have massive recovery time and are actually pretty bad moves. Once I learned to space and pace, I demolished the fuck out of everyone.
-Villager: Still don't get this character. Reasonably powerful attacks but lacking given the slow speed. Forward B Gyroid is kind of cool, but really slow. I also haven't figured out how to consistently ride it when launched from the air. Ridiculously good recovery Up B, but has no offense, so it's a trade-off. Neutral B seems awesome with items on for strategic storing, but otherwise of limited use. Down B is powerful as hell but without 4-way mayhem to distract people I'm not sure how you're supposed to make use of it.
I'm actually the opposite.
Mega Man to me has a surprisingly steep learning curve and I still don't get him.
Villager, however, it's like riding a bike after a long time. You know, if I knew how to ride a bike. Loving her a lot and it already feels natural to me how to time the trees and gyroids and space with aerials.
BTW, remember everyone: planting the tree doesn't mean you have to use it, it also means you get to axe people to death =D
