Fun Fact;
In Melbourne, Nguyen is the second most common last name in the Melbourne Phone Book, under Smith.
Fun fact: Nguyen is the most common last name in Vietnam. It dominated every other last name.
I am a Nguyen too.

@JERK:
My roomate is from Singapore and speaks an English more alike mine then my other roomate's southern american accent.
the dumbest best thing ever is that a lot of people – educated people, mind you -- still think that Singapore is a part of China. and yes, this includes people living in China. i know it's just a dot on the map, but come on.
I reckon african Arlong Parkers are too busy standing in lines for humanitarian food supplies instead of wasting time dancing shaman dances to call forth the Internetz wonder.
Guy from Antartica is really funny if he didnt have his location in his profile, why do people have to troll such simple threads?
Anyway.
Europe > Portugal > Porto > Vila Nova de Gaia.
Also tks Sea now I know Local was even sicker than I though.
Someone live in the Antarctica :ninja:
That is why i did not include Antarctica. Blame it on Freedom.
Yes the guy that lives in Antarctica lives in Michigan, some 12 old probably.
The country of sh*tty weather .__.
AKA I live in Europe :P
England, FUUUU-
europe and n.america neck n neck…..
europe and n.america neck n neck…..
If I could just vote, it would be one more Vote for Europe.. :sad:

Blame multi voting regulations
Blame multi voting regulations
but some new people are allowed to vote, like fire-fist was.
I will just sit it out. The Time will come for me…
I reckon there are far more north americans on this forum, probably 80% of the lurkercorpse but yeah they do not frequent these parts of the forum.
Hey,no African here?
i'm a Pharaoh.
Sauza, Tigerlilly and bartolomew kuma are from north Africa. That's at least 3. I could also be counted as African, as I am from Moroccan origin and I am in Morocco right now.
I am from Europe ( France Paris ). But both my parents are from Congo. Let's say that I'm nearly fromAfrica
I don't think it's that surprising that so many Europeans come here. One Piece is more popular in Europe than in North America, after all.
True, it still has a tv deal in some European countries. Does it air in the Netherlands?

Which Congo, Brazzaville I'm guessing?
I'm from North America, and I'm fine with it. Well, aside from my location in the continent (way too far South. -_-).

It never did. Not that I mind, we would've gotten a Dutch dub of the 4Kids version, just like YGO, Pokemon and Shaman King. The worst thing about it is that they actually mimicked the accents. So you have a Dutch guy trying to do a Brooklyn accent for Joey.
The manga is a top notch translation though. The translator used to go to a big Dutch anime forum and asked for readers' input. Too bad the manga hasn't had a volume release since January.
so we have someone from Antarctica but none from africa :ninja:
@dirt:
You work in Kent? Really? I'm over in Covington.
Used to work up in Factoria.
I'm always dreading the Summer since it's been getting hotter every year.
Though that gives me lovely, cold Winters.
Sure do.
Yeah, we kind of got screwed for the summer this year. Can you believe how long we had weather for without breaking 85? Jesus. Completely robbed.
Hopefully this fall makes up for it by not being too gloomy. >_>
I do like my cold winters, though. Layers ftw.

I don't see how there is anything wrong with that.
I'd gladly live somewhere where it never gets above the low 70s during the summer. But instead I live somewhere where it can get up into the 80s during the middle of the winter. -_-

Really? Most of the summer we were around there, low 70's. I hate that. What fun is that?
Where do you live in the South? Prob. has something to do with that. Like, 95 degrees here and everyone is whining about how hot it is.
I reckon there are far more north americans on this forum, probably 80% of the lurkercorpse but yeah they do not frequent these parts of the forum.
Actually the majority of American posters are from the east coast, followed secondly by cenral europe. Well at least that was the results from an old thread.
Yeah, but that thread would face the same problem as this one, lurkers not casting their vote.
Really? Most of the summer we were around there, low 70's. I hate that. What fun is that?
How is that not fun? That's perfect outside weather. Which you know, summer is supposed to be the outside season. Winter is the outside season where I live… most of the time.

I live in Northern Oklahoma. So you see it's not the deep South. Instead it's just incredibly bipolar during the winters. It can be hot one day and be snowing the next. (Actually has happened on occasion, like a few winters ago it got up to 82 degrees on a January day, the next morning I woke up to snow on the ground. o_O)
But still to me 95 degrees is way too hot. I get hot really easily, and we have a lot of humidity. The upper 70s can be way too hot if the conditions are right. (sun, high humidity, no wind at all)

I dunno. I actually like it to be hot in the summer, since it's basically cold up here the rest of the year. Like low to mid 80's is nice.
@Robo:
Yeah, but that thread would face the same problem as this one, lurkers not casting their vote.
How would you know this though?

I don't understand why the two results would differ?
It just sounds like mere speculation to me.
Mu the lost continent
How would you know this though?
Know what, that lurkers aren't voting or where the lurkers are from? I just assumed that lurkers aren't voting. As for how I know where the lurkers are from, I don't and I shouldn't have posted it as a fact.

It is all mere speculation. The results are probably different because the community has changed allot, but this is also just speculation.
Why don't we get one of those things where a map has dots for all the people.
Good idea Zephos
Europe and North America will be covered with dots BTW
(im not complaining)
@JERK:

That'd be interesting. Would all members automatically be put on the map or would they have to say where they are? What would be the detail of location, just country or could it get more specific?
I want a pink dot
hides
Sorry, couln'd resist…
One lonely dot in Africa…Am I seriously the only one from this continent with both an internet connection and an interest in One Piece? There have to be others :ninja:
Me and the guy from Antarctica, we should really hook up.
Though, you can think of yourself as a lone elitist bastard, that has got to count for something. Well, until someone else from Africa votes, that is.

I remember seeing someone from Morocco who posted recently, so assuming he wasn't lying about his location, there are at least two of you.
EDIT : Oh, and about Antarctica – it's not impossible for someone to be there and be on the internet. Not many people live in McMurdo, but a friend of mine was stationed in Amundsen-Scott for the Winter-Over a few years ago (that's the shift where you can't leave the tiny research building for something like half a year). Anyways, one of the few things he was able to do to pass the time (when he wasn't performing various scientific experiments for scientists and grad students around the world) was to get on the internet and go exploring. I'd get these huge e-mails from him complaining of boredom and frostbite...

I tried the old frappr link with loads of our locations listed, but the link was broken.
