An adaptation of a light novel featuring bishoujo characters.

In the orignal novel series' story, the five members of the literature club awakened with extraordinary powers half a year ago. Although the members expected to be thrown into a world of super-powered battles (inō-battle) at their school, their normal daily routine continued. No secret organizations bent on world destruction, no super-powered wars, no braves or demon kings.
However, the members still look forward to the possibilities of adventure, and continued to believe that with each day, they were getting ever closer to those days of fantasy. Their days of romantic comedy and battles with extraordinary powers begin!

Anime industry has been blessed with many light novel masterpieces and glorious Trigger has decided to join the trend. A golden age of anime is coming.

It was admittedly inevitable that they'd have to do this sooner or later… but why not later. They've done so little sofar that this really stands out... ughhh.

It doesn't look very interesting, or within Trigger's more "out there" art styles. At first glance, it looks like something I'd easily skim over if I were to look through the seasonal lists of anime too(looks like another pretty looking anime that probally poorly abuses CG effects). But I'll check it out despite my thoughts.

Well, to be honest I wouldn't even bother watching it if it wasn't Trigger.

But it's Trigger. That said, it isn't my kind of anime, hoping it turns out good. With it being an adaptation and not an original series, I don't think it'll be as impactful as Trigger's other works, but who knows.

Who knows. It might pull a Buscuit Hammer on me and may end up being more than meets the eye… But yeah. Expectations are low.
If anything, it would probally be there to appeal those that aren't usually a fan of Trigger's works. Which doesn't make sense... Who cares about them?

People are expecting too much from Trigger. They may be talented bastards, but they too cannot turn shit into gold. And since it's a generic romcom harem story we're talking about here, things aren't looking too good. Sure, I will check out the first episode to see if there's any hope for this, but I honestly doubt it.

I'll give Trigger the benifit of the doubt on this. I trust they can at least make it more entertaining than your everyday harem light novel adaptation.

If we apply the sturgeon's law: perhaps this show will be part of the 10% ?

The synopsis reminds me of Daily Live of High School Boys (expecting an epic adventure anime with mechs because it's by Sunrise and Square-Enix, but instead it's just a slice-of-life comedy) . I'll check it out only because of Trigger, but I have a feeling the characters are gonna annoy me.

Why are people under the impression anime needs saving, its doing the same as it always had. Also All fiction did you, in a round about way just refer to SOA as a master piece?.
Ill probably give this a miss, The premise seems boring and I didn't really like Kill la Kill, i dropped it after 2 or 3 episodes since it all seemed to be style over substance, and i didn't like the style so there was nothing there for me.
