Naruto and Bleach IV- Sexy time

Sooo. . .you can get out of the FINALEST FINAL Sharingan technique that puts you in an infinite loop for all eternity (Kind of a Dejavu, considering Itachi already did that with Orochimaru. . .) by. . .finding and accepting yourself? For a technique that took, what, 5 chapters to activate?, the way to get out of it is surprisingly fast, easy and fucking convenient for the good guys.
Seems like every fucking thing Itachi did in his entire life was fucking convenient and required some incredible feats of fortune telling, to be honest, but considering he has the sharingan, everything's fine, I guess?
Also, as expected, Gai's scene was poorly drawn and the conclusion (what did Madara do to plant Gai in the ground? What was that thingie with the black ball and the thunder god kunai then the black ball goes back and the kunai stays there and. . .hello, Kishi? You know how to stage a fucking action or what?), and next week 8 gates mode, more poorly drawn scenes, he """""""dies""""""" for nothing, and more padding for an extra week.
Enjoy!
Actually Izanagi makes sense if you consider that the leading cause of genocide and general stupidity in Naruto world is Uchiha love cancer. So Izanagi was meant to solve the problem through infinite inner monologue until they get brainwashed.
-
Gin never achieved bankai, during the hueco mundo thing all we ever got to see was his shikia.
Actually we did see his bankai it just looked no different from his shikai and did no different. It was like a power boost and that was it. He got one extra ability and that was leaving pieces of his sword in people when he stabbed them and basically giving them lead poisoning
-

Spiritual lead poisoning, mind you, that most dangerous of supernatural powers!
-
@Panda:
Spiritual lead poisoning, mind you, that most dangerous of supernatural powers!
Almost as dangerous as the lack of hollow antibodies!
-
I love the idea that Kabuto wakes up, sees Anko lying there and chooses to not disturb her beauty sleep in this nice and moist cave.
1010 probably took up the fan again and fainted from exhaustion.
Love this manga.

Didn't it also extend his sword to 13 kilometers?
-
Hmm. I actually enjoyed both chapters today. They weren't great but with Yachiru revealing her training wheels/shotgun shikai and Guy being awesome I was a bit more interested.
-
Gotta admit I wasn't as pissed about both chapters as I usualy am.^^ Bleach was slightly worse than naruto though, because the pacing is still horrible and all we get week by week are fights with sternritter who will die quickly anyways. Naruto was enjoyable, because guy and lee did something, and it looks like guy will finally open all the gates next and I'm hoping that kishimoto doesn't fuck it up by somehow saving him in the end. He is ready to sacrifice his life so let him go through with it even if he fails, wich he will obviously. This war need some actual emotional deaths. Kishimoto has to make it emotional though and not in the stupid having Neji getting killed by some oversized random toothpick way.
-
Great one of my least favorite Naruto characters is back. and it's time for Guy-sensei to use super special ultimate technique and it do absolutely nothing
and Kusajishi's zp wasn't quite what I expected it to be
-
@Cyan:
It's funny how in the middle of watching this you go from heartily laughing to frantically crying.
-
It's been a long time since I could say this: I enjoyed Bleach this week.
Gotta admit, I didn't expect this too turn out this fun.
-
Awesome Lee is awesome.
And Sasuke gets Senju cells at last. Rinnegan incoming. Ugh.
-
I wonder if we'll like ever see an shinigami ever use Kido again or any of the Quincy use their actual Quincy abilities, instead of their specila power which does nothing but get em killed.
-
Am I meant to understand what Yachiru's shikai does yet? Because I don't.
-

What is this…kido you speak of? All I know are shikais and bankais.
-
Am I meant to understand what Yachiru's shikai does yet? Because I don't.
From what i gather, it's like 3 blades in one. A short one, a regular one, and a really long one. The shortest and longest seem to be in front of her and behind her.
When she strikes, all 3 are coming at you, but you only see the regular blade.
That's why she mentions people thinking that they've "dodged" her attacks but getting cut anyways. It's the big blade cutting them without them noticing it.At least, that's what i can grasp at this current time.
-
I also enjoyed Bleach this week. I'm kind of hoping Yachiru defeats that Sternritter with just her Shikai. Kubo hasn't really shown how strong she is, so this is a good way to display it.
Naruto….well, there's that scene where Kabuto puts his thing inside Sasuke... -
Bleach was actually ok this week. Explanation of Silence Quincy's abilities was kinda confusing (versions 2 and 3 pretty much sound the same.) At least we finally see Yachiru's shikai abilities.
It wouldn't surprise me if Gai's possible death next does end up in vain.
And Kabuto pumping Senju juice inside of Sasuke….Didn't need to see that. -
Why Gai, Why :( .
-
A good bleach chapter this week.
Naruto told us what we already knew, and if Gai is gonna die next week, then i hope he goes down with the fire of YOUTH.
-
@Purple:
That was actually the description of Izanami, absurd as it may be. You can just get out of it by accepting reality and yourself.
Unlike GER, Izanami offers a way out… and I guess is also completely ineffective against people who already accept reality and themselves??
Hell, then. . .maybe it's a shitty technique to begin with? So, if I get this right, it only works on enemies with psychological issues? Well, in the Naruto world it is indeed a powerful technique, but it does sound like a bummer, considering it took forever and more to activate and in the process his lil bro almost died buying time (didn't bother re-reading the scene, it's kind of a blur to me, but I guess something like that happened. . .right?).
"Sasuke is like a pure canvas and is completely white so he can go either way, but you know what? I'll just let him get manipulated by every thing out there instead of being a competent older brother.
And we can also talk about that super convenient Crow he (confortably) placed inside Naruto in the off-chance that he'd get turn into a mind controlled Zombie in an all out war against the ninja world and he'd get the chance to meet Naruto and politely ask him to release the crow again cause it was, in fact, a technique to de-mindcontrollize him.
Not convenient AT ALL.
I even seem to recall that when Itachi (confortably) placed that crow into a very willing Naruto he went on and on about how he had faith in him and stuff. . .so it seemed like that crow would've ended being of some help to Naruto, not something for Itachi's own fucking benefit that could've been (confortably) placed in the mouth of any random ninja that he predicted would be part of the all out war. Didn't need to fucking pin-point Naruto and give him that task, you know. Kinda loses all its phylosophical importance.
BTW, did Naruto feel used and dirty after that?
Man I remember when we were all looking forward to the taijutsu fights because they were exciting and well choreographed.
And look at us now.
And yet people are hyped like hell for next week's serving of half-assed coreography in confusingly laid pannels with no sense of motion whatsoever. Like, don't you guys ever learn?
Also, 8 gates will probably give Guy a super strong beam disguised as a punch, like that midday tiger thingie that's obviously a kame hame ha wave that we're supposed to believe is, in fact, a "super fast punch". Yeah, right.
Actually Izanagi makes sense if you consider that the leading cause of genocide and general stupidity in Naruto world is Uchiha love cancer. So Izanagi was meant to solve the problem through infinite inner monologue until they get brainwashed.
Oh, if it's like that, then I feel much better about that ability. Makes you wonder why Uchiha's around the Naruto world didn't settle down as 100% fail-proof psychologists and get filthy rich instead of retarded mass-murderers.
-

Yep pretty much. It was used to resolve conflicts of reality when multiple users of izanagi were trying to figure out which reality would happen. Which is also pretty stupid considering Izanagi only happens for a minute at most, only really affects the user of the technique, and they only have two eyes to use up anyway.

The crow was a special tech and retained the other eyeball of shisui (Danzou had the right one I think) that basically forces the person to follow a command without their knowing. Itachi assumed that Naruto would eventually come into conflict with Sasuke when Sasuke tries to destroy the village, and the command the eye was to force out was "Save Konoha." It's reasonable to assume that Naruto would definitely come in contact with Sasuke, but rather than go through all those odds and ends to "Save Konoha," you'd think he could've just explained it to him. I mean, Sasuke bought the story of a guy claiming to be Madara while wearing a mask and everything, so I'm sure he could have bought Itachi's sob story.

Never ever learn. Also, Guy and Lee are the only guys people really care about so it's kinda the only thing giving people any sense of hype.
-
I'm going to give this week's Bleach an 8/10 just because of Yachiru's shikai. Naruto was okay, but I do want to see the last gate opened. Bleach was the best this week.
-

Ok, I did not remember all of that. Makes a bit more sense. . .?
Still, convenient as all hell.

I believe the crow activates when the mangekyou makes eyecontact with the person the crow is implanted in or something like that. So the idea was that Sasuke just looks at Naruto he'd get the suggestion to save konoha.
Apparently it works on zombies, considering it ended up releasing Itachi from his being controlled by Kabuto.
And yeah of course it's convenient. The Sharingan is the ultimate eye of convenience. Not only does it allow you to copy any technique that you witness, the people who even have sharingan don't even bother with that primary feature of it because it has a slew of other broken techs. Black unending fire, an incredibly overpowered illusory tech, ridiculously strong armor, a ctrl+z tech, and less-broken Gold Experience Requiem. If you're Shisui you even get subliminal messaging technique, and if you're Obito/Kakashi you get HM06, whirlpool.

You also gotta love how only two of those techniques, three being very generous, have something remotely to do with eyesight.
Once you go into armored god summoning and reality warping and death negation, it's all like. . .what's that to do with your eyes anymore. . . ?
Oh, and I forgot, Madara's meteor summoning had something to do with the Sharingan? Or rinnegan? Or was a regular, run of the mill ninjutsu?
-
Aside from the ridiculous explanation of the Quincy's power the Bleach chapter was actually good for a change.
If you cut out the bullshit of Kabuto then I could say the same for Naruto.
Amazing what happens when you use your lesser side characters for a change.
-
That first scene in Naruto had some of the best dialogue I've seen in a manga.
Orochimaru: So it was you, Kabuto. (Ohh, I was confused for a moment.)
Kabuto: Indeed, it was you Orochimaru-sama.
Suigetsu/Karin: Are you trying to do this Kabuto? Are you trying to do that Kabuto? Wait, are you helping Sasuke?
Kabuto: Yes, I'll explain how exactly I can manage to save him, as if it matters.
Orochimaru: Oh look, it's Second, the Hokage I respected the most…
-
If i remember correctly there were only two vice-captains who had achieved bankai and 12 captains who had a bankai as well. Gin never achieved bankai, during the hueco mundo thing all we ever got to see was his shikia. And really, when ever someone says that 12 of the 13 captains have achieved bankai, their not taking into consideration the fact the aizen never used his bankai and only ever used his shikia. For all we know all he ever knew was shikia and he used it to trick yamamoto into giving him the position of captain in the first place. And on another note, why do people call him kenpachi? His name is zaraki, kenpachi is a title, techniacally since the revalation that unohana was the previous kenpachi and was still alive up until the whole fight to the death to make you stronger thing, would it be unwise to refer to her as a kenpachi?
Gin had a Bankai. It was thought to be just a super speedy version of his Shikai but it turned out to be something entirely different during his 'battle' with Aizen (a shard of his sword would be embedded in his opponent after the initial stab and a poison would eradicate them from existence or some nonsense like that).
Edit: woops beaten.
-
Naruto:
On a list of things that could have been awesome…
Bleach:
Yay Yachiru.
-
I take back any praise I gave Naruto a few weeks back, it was good for just a very short while, when Madara was kicking ass and taking down names with pure efficiency.
-
Naruto: Kishi keeps on dragging this with now irrelevant characters willing to have pointless deaths.
Bleach: Yachiru~chan. Enough said.
-
I liked Yachiru's facial expressions more than anything, and the way the title of the chapter "faded from existence". Didn't care for anything else in the chapter really, but I also haven't read a Bleach chapter in a long time. Only did so 'cause ya'll seemed to like it.
-
I can't help but feel like a lot of these special abilities are very situational. Like rukia's? How useful really is it to freeze your body's cells to the point of near (or I guess absolute zero)?
Like what's the application of a copycat sword outside of this disappearing act?
-

It's a sword that swings before and after. So if someone were to swing and attempt to dodge, they either got cut before or after the swing, or during the swing if she was fast enough. It's basically a weapon that can't be dodged.

Who ever said there was only 3 swings? >_>
Oh, right, Yachiru did
-
So I went back and checked…it seems like it's been a while since I read the hueco mundo arc.
-
Is Yamato coming back since Kabuto's a good guy now?!
-

Nah, Yamato has probably been turned into a toy, by now, and Kishimoto has forgotten everything about him :ninja:
-

He's in Spiral Zetsu.
-
@God:
He's in Spiral Zetsu.
That sounds kinky.
-
Okay wait.
I can't believe I never questioned this before. Why the hell is/was Madara resurrected in his prime (form)? When he died he was some old Cracker Jack buster on life support. I get Hashirama and Tobirama, they died the way they looked which is hunky Hokage without greys, they must've died before old age struck. Sarutobi (third), Chiyo and Nagato were resurrected and retained their old decrepit selves/bodies, Nagato used some rinne Jutsu for youth.
Sure Kabuto added Hashi cells into Murdera but returned his youth?
Everyone whose been brought back by Edo Tensei has come back just the way they died

He is a wizard ninja.

-
The edo tensei and rinne tensei's ability is not to bring them back to their prime or when they died. It's to bring them back at the point in their lives which would be most convenient for the plot.
Just like how Madara technically has a corpse inside of him from the edo tensei still.

Wouldn't be the first time that Madara's openly ignored or broken the established rules that the series has set up.
-
Pretty sure that issue was addressed by Kabuto. Orochimaru explained that when he did Edo Tensei, he hadn't perfected it yet, and that's why they were brought back at the point of death. During his fight with Sarutobi he did manage to revert them to a more optimal age, actually. By the time Kabuto was doing it in part 2, he claimed to have mastered the technique, which would allow him to revive someone at their prime. Apparently Sarutobi was kept old because that's what Kabuto considered his prime… maybe.
-
Kabuto did say he brought him back with a few changes.
