Hwa Ryun: They'll be stronger than anyone you faced before.
Baam: So Love and Urek are weaker?
SIU: That's misinformation hype!
I agree, hoping TC will clear this up. Same in regards to last chapter when the first scans were released.

Did Baam tell them about urek? Cant remember.
Well, Jinsung saw him beaten up after the he lost to Urek during the Flower of Zyngea arc. Plus, Hwa Ryun is a guide. She should know what happened. Then the rumor about a slayer candinate beating a ranker spread around the tower. Hwa Ryun's faction should know all about Urek and Love.
Can guide's see the paths and futures of themselves and other guides?

Urek didn't really fight Baam. He just smacked him around like a fly.
Love was beaten in a game, not a life and death match. Also Wangnan helped Baam win.
Did Baam tell them about urek? Cant remember.
No, he didn't.
Well, Jinsung saw him beaten up after the he lost to Urek during the Flower of Zyngea arc. Plus, Hwa Ryun is a guide. She should know what happened. Then the rumor about a slayer candinate spread around the tower. Hell Hwa Ryun was even the one who cheered up Yeon after she found out the truth about the Zyngea flower and was moping in her bed. Hwa Ryun's faction should know all about Urek and Love.
Yeah, but there's no mention about Urek. If there was, FUG would've been more careful since Baam had exposure to the strongest active Ranker in the tower. They'd have to worry about Urek/Wing Tree poking their nose in their business.
The rumour of the Slayer candidate was about Baam beating Love.
Can guide's see the paths and futures of themselves and other guides?
Yes and no. They can "see paths" as in know how to face obstacles and such, but that doesn't mean they are omniscient beings. For example, Evan saw the path of defeating the Shinheuh Baam faced on the first floor, but didn't say anything because a normal person would dying following his orders because of human error (being scared, etc.). They help "guide" regulars, during their tests and such.
So Hwa Ryun can help guide Baam during his tests, but doesn't know his past and future (e.g. meeting Urek).

This, pretty much. Even guides wouldn't know about the Urek fight without another source of information, which is only possible if Team Tansooyuk spilled the beans. FUG/others know about Love's defeat because Augusgus has connections with FUG, and likely reported it.
@Phoenix Zoan: So yeah, Jinsung did see Baam beat up, but I doubt he knew exactly what happened.
They most likely spilled the beans about Urek since Yeon was moping about the flower and Hwa Ryun went to cheer her up. Plus the ranker who set everything up saw Urek and ran away. He most likely reported what he saw. Hell, Urek even dared him to since he isn't afraid of anybody.
Love is pretty much common knowledge since even Koon heard about the rumor.
It's the usual SIU misinformation hype. He's hyping up Mad Dog and Beta. SIU isn't going to have Hwa Ryun say "lol, now that you have the thorn, you'll steamroll these regulars."
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
New subtitle is "Summoning". Mangacow still has it as Thorn.
Oh shoot, I forgot about the admin and his two goons at the end of 33. And in 34, Jinsung mentions it (not explicitly, though), so I guess you're right that they did know something about it.
I'll wait for The Company's translation, in case Hwa Ryun meant to say that the new guys are stronger than any Regular he's faced.
Yeah, it would be one thing if it was just them that saw Urek. But the admin met Urek. He really had no reason to keep it secret. Urek even dared him to say something.

I feel that while all the relevant characters know that Urek was there, it wasn't publicly announced that Urek was the one who stole the shinheuh baby. If you recall right after those events a bounty was put out for the baby, I think whoever was in charge of that would know better than to say "by the way to get the reward you have to beat Urek Mazino the 4th strongest guy in the tower".
Publicly the Yeon family lied about what actually happened to save face. That's why Yihwa was moping in her bed. The Hwa Ryun trolled her at first by saying what do you feel about your family covering up with what actually happened and then cheered her up by telling you you should change that by being a elite. If Hwa Ryun knew that the cover story was bullshit then it should be obvious the group actually told them what actually happened.
Hey, a chapter ending with an attack from behind! But its not like Wangnan will be in any danger, noone important dies anymore. He will be just fine.
And how can they summon Viole/baam already? Shouldnt they get way more points before?
Btw, whats with Varagarv/Bhargav? He surely doesnt look like the most enthusiastic and energetic one around.

Someone will die, one or two people. If you missed the death flags then I suggest you start rereading the last 20 released chapters.
I don't really see Wangan dying though. They're still all the stuff about his past like why he has the ring and that he's the prince of the red district. Unless we get a flashback next chapter that reveals all that he isn't dying. He'll probably get saved by the White Heavenly Mirror item.

I agree with not killing him off "yet" due to his past, but refresh my memory again, what is the White Heavenly Mirror item? Is that the item Androssi won in the gun game?
Androssi won the Bon Bon by catching the Fairy. It's a teleportation type of item. The White Heavenly Mirror hasnt been shown yet.
Ok now that you mention it I remember reading on batoto forums about Wagnan having a white item in his back pocket.

He's pretty great. Love his blanket antics.
Well I still think this arc has been pretty sloppy and am hoping the story will go back to being well-constructed once Baam is back with his old friends. We'll see.
ohhhhhhhhhhh yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh
Aw hell yes, Baam is back!!
Excellent, now that Baam is back Rak Leader can finally let loose and show all these pesky turtles how true warriors fight.
Anyone gonna heal Wangnan?
Does anyone else have an opinion regarding Baam's Thorn. To be more specific, will Baam always have the Thorn hovering over his shoulder? (Like Horyangs wing)
I don't have a formed opinion, just a thought process. Beta does 'partial ignitions' and has two different demons, Dionysus and Phobos, and it seems to be due to the fact that Beta is an incomplete living weapon– a failure. Beta's use is similar to Baam's use during the beginning of this arc, which is when Baam was incomplete, so it only showed when he was using its power. Though how/why I'm not sure, I assume that is why Beta can only do partial ignitions? Anyway, on the other side of things we have Horyang and Cassano, who are successful experiments with the demon split between them. They can both do complete ignitions so-to-speak, and their 'thorn' (?) shows at all times. So with those references in mind, and Baam now being a completed ignition weapon, I assume the thorn will always show like Horyang's and Cassano's do. Baam being a human + demon/bowl + thorn makes him different though, which I guess could mean anything. He'll probably be able to hide it like his pocket and inventory reel's eventually though, if only so SIU doesn't have to draw it all the time.

For now. Given it's attachment to Enryu, I think it could be used to find him. Then again, SIU stated Enryu won't show up until much later on…
SIU will probably throw in a plot point which allows the thorn to be compressed (much like a Pocket). Or it'll be used up (if that's even possible) or absorbed by Baam.
I have been rereading part 1 and 2, also reading every single blog, and I still can't find the answer I'm looking for. Hopefully someone can clear this up for me.
In regards to spearbearers, from the blog post from SIU, he states that spearbearers usually break down into close range and far range spear throwing.
My question is, do spearbearers create the spears the throw with shinsoo? RAK Leader always has his iconic huge red spear, but when he throws it, does he retrieve it? Or do spearbearers have a huge supply of spears in their arms inventory?
Hopefully this was stated and I just missed it.
Thanks for anyone help.

I can't find anything either–-lol.
But off my memory, I remember that carrying lots of spears in pipes weighs them down a lot, so they have techniques that use shinsoo to create hardened spears to throw. Remember Ran has a lightning spear and sword technique, so the possibility that higher leveled Spearbearers have similar shinsoo techniques is very high.
There ARE legendary spears that can be thrown, like Mago, but these aren't made of shinsoo and are probably more like handheld melee weapons. But I imagine for normal fights using shinsoo spears is fine.
Since the thorn started off as an individual item, and the thing floating above Baam is actually its compressed version(I think), it might have the ability to go invisible like most items and weapons.
The wings on Cassano and Horyang seem to be just a manifestation of the half shinsoo spirit inside of them, rather than an actual seperate item.

Weapons can be stored in an inventory, much like how Yuri gave Baam the Black March at the beginning of the series. Rak probably keeps his spear in there when he's not fighting. He probably either retrieves it or it shoots out like a bullet in a gun vis-a-vis shinsoo.
Spears are carried in pipes, the spear bearer's inventory. Probably not the most generic design out there but here's Koon Hachuling's:

There is chatter, that its because his wrist injury got worse, that the chapter was so short (and bad).
Man, just get the damn surgery and who cares, if there is a multi-month hiatus during the arc!
Yeah, multi-month is nothing compared to a certain mangaka who takes multi-year breaks. If it means SIU can continue ToG without hurting himself, I'd rather take a break now then when it gets worse. I remember he said he'd take a break when this arc is over, but that was… a year ago? He had the perfect chance before this Workshop arc started, but I guess he wanted to end on the season break, so the hiatus would be between seasons.

When he could take the surgery depends on his own funds (paying for the surgery) and when the hospital can schedule him in.

never thought about that.
I wonder how much the average webtoon artist makes, and if they get paid or not during season breaks.
Each part of the seal should represents one clan, maybe so:
It's looks like the correct thread to me. SIU's wrist is so bad, he has the Nanatsu No Taizai mangaka drawing for him now.
Alright Q & A time:
Season 2, chapter 22, when Augustus is talking to "Submerged Fish" via his pocket (Directly following the Untrustworthy Room test). Augustus says, "Yes, the Prince has passed our test. Everything is going the way FUG wants it to."
Is he referring to Ja Wagnan, Baam, or Prince?
Confused the hell out of me.

Now that you bring it up, I'm kinda confused too. I originally thought he referred to Wangnan (who was referred to the Prince of the Red Light District by a member of FUG, Hwa Ryun). And since Gusgus was communicating with Yu Han Sung (Submerged Fish), I assume he is connected to FUG and thus is referring to the Prince of the Red Light District. Our purple, bratty Prince is probably irrelevant to FUG, so I assumed it wasn't him.
Oh and I haven't heard anything about Baam being a 'prince' or anything.

Very interesting. I figured it wasn't Prince, but I didn't remember if anyone from FUG referred to Viole as "My Prince", I guess it has always been "My God."
I have recently reread the series and I am pretty sure so far the only instance Ja Wagnan has been related to FUG was mentioned in the above post. I am now interest what Mr. Wangnan has that FUG needs and or wants. Hell, seems like everyone we don't know anything about, is somehow related to FUG. Wagnan is next.
What would really churn the waters, is at the end of every season someone betrays Baam.
Season 1: Rachel
Season 2: Ja Wagnan

Then the question comes around to Wangnan's ring. If he really is related to Zahard but doesn't know it, maybe FUG is leading him somewhere. Maybe he's a sleeper agent and he doesn't know it! =O
Damn SIU would have it in for Baam…
The Prince comment could refer to both Baam and Wangan, but not bratty Prince. Wangan has the Zahard ring/Prince of Red Light District and Baam was inside the cave that had the seal of Zahard/Fug has been waiting a long time for him. If you reread the part 2 prologue, it could be more than one Prince. Repellista says "them".

"Them" –-> Ohoho nice catch. If there's more than one Zahard Prince, then all previous predictions are thrown out the window. Or maybe "Prince of Zahard" represents something more abstract, like a revolution? Like how Game of Throne's Caster throws out his boys to keep power centered on him.
I need to re-read this series to catch all the things I didn't catch the first time.
Here's the pic of Baam's cave with the Zahard seal. Click on the pic to make it larger.
Here's the pic of Baam's cave with the Zahard seal. Click on the pic to make it larger.
I've seen that before, but I'm not sure what his relation is–-Prince? Prisoner? Experiment? I'm keeping the possibility open for anything, really.
Another interesting theory on why Wangan isn't dead from getting his heart stabbed is that he's the Prince of Zahard. So he's under the same contract as his father is and that he can't be killed by a regular. Wangan does have personal knowledge about that rule since he figured out while talking to Hwa Ryun that Viole was an irregular since he could actually kill Zahard. So Wangan does know alot more then he is letting on.
