Two options is that Rebecca will either win and half the forum will riot, or Sabo will KO her "gently" as he said as soon as the tournament starts. She's clearly out of depth compared to all of the other contestants.
Yeah true, she's definitely out of her depth, I'm hoping for the "Sabo KO's her gently" because otherwise we are going to have a hard time here on AP ^^
Oh and I really don't think that removing the Shichibukai would make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things, we have no idea what Jimbei ment when he said that Akainu was granted "more power" when he was made fleet admiral. The Marine might have a bunch of new powerful fighters to compensate for the lack of the Shichibukai… But that's just my 2 cents :)

…Yes? That would be the worldwide draft you are refering to
Neat cover page…again.
Well! Quite the chapter, I'd say. The losers of Block D get ushered away to make way for the showdown between Sabo, Rebecca, Barty, and Burgess....and the hero of it all, Diamante. But as we've seen, the other fighters will suffer the toy fate.....or will they?
Luffy/Zoro/Kinemon get assistance to sneak into the palace via (of course) Violet. Lol at Kinemon mistaking her for a ninja.
Then we cut to Doflamingo and Fujitora talking, with Law/Riku still chained up in the background. Fujitora explains his motives, to focus on protecting the civilians and dispose of Luffy and many other pirates that have entered the island...first. Then his target shall be Doflamingo.
What's more, the guy wants to abolish the Shichibukai. Freaking loved the dramatic panels of him saying that and opening his eyes at Doflamingo. The system itself has definitely degraded in his efficiency, what with Luffy allying with Jinbei, Hancock, and Law, (indirectly with Mihawk and Kuma, before the latter lost his free will) beating Crocodile and Moria, and Blackbeard's own rise from the position to Yonkou. But since the Gorosei are gung-ho on maintaining the balance....
Oh yeah, Franky continues his battle with Senor Pink. Cool stuff, although I didn't see a need to give Pink a DF.
…Yes? That would be the worldwide draft you are refering to
Sorry, I ment we don't know if there is anything else, that would grant them even more power than they have now. I realise the worldwide draft was one thing, but maybe there are more? Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

The Elder Stars, as far as we can tell, don't actually give a shit about the New World provided the powers that control it have their heads up each other's asses (as the situation was before Marineford.)
Well, as far as we can tell, yes. Hard to say based on those few times we saw them. But there are things going on us readers aren't aware of. Like that gigantic bridge at Tequila Wolf. The reason of it's existence is still a big question mark. And they keep expanding thier territories constantly.
I think defeating Whitebeard created an opening big enough to slip in and increase marine influence in New World. Akainu had to have Gorosei blessing when he moved the HQ to New World. Don't see the purpose behind moving it there if Gorosei don't give a shit about NW.
Hmm…
Crocodile, Law, Blackbeard, Moria was scheming, Jimbei was fighting against them, Doflamingo works for Yonkou, Boa does whatever she want's, so they have more like... three. Boa wouldn't have sided with WG if not for Luffy, let's remember.
... Damn, Buggy might be most reliable warlord yet.
They didn't abuse their positions in the way that Croc and Teach did is what I'm saying ie such outrageous ways there was no consideration of allowing them to continue as Shichibukai, although I suppose Teach actually made that decision himself lol.
so..do we know to what country is fuji talking about here?
“There was a country where pirates threatened to hijack the royal throne…”
“Had the attempt succeeded, it would have become as vile a land as this one”
also,it has been translated differently on both mangastream aand mangapanda..there t seems like he is talking indirectly about dressrosa.

Ah, okay. I must've misread something.

I hope she wins, eats the mera mera no mi, and joins the Strawhats. Just for the reaction. Preferably all three in the same chapter so the fury explosion is concentrated on a single thread.
I doubt the gorosei took the decision of getting rid of moriah, seeing how much worried they were about filling the three empty seats. I think it was a decision taken by the guy doflamingo was talking to in chapter 595 who must have his own agenda. He probably is the head of cp0.
Hmm that is something to consider.
The way Doffy said that it went higher than Sengoku just made me think of the elder stars immediately.

It'll go down as the bloodiest day in AP history.
Lets just pray next chapter we get to see whats going on with sanji and big mom.

Agreed. Though I'm always good to see what's going on with Franky.

He was clearly the head of the CP0, and CP0 report directly to the world nobles.
I've wrote quite a bit in the Dressrosa thread on why i think it's Doffy's handlers in the holy land who were behind it.
yeah,that's possible,didn't though about that
In the spoiler thread, Aohige said it was Alabasta.

I thought that maybe because of Whitebeard essentially ending the era, and the world changing that the Gorosei just wanted a clear out of those they didn't think worry to hold the title, but the CP0 thing does ring with a bit of truth.
Why go to the trouble of getting rid of Moria though, what motive could the Tenryubito/CP0 have for it?
I want to see Luffy fighting Doffy as a fish.
I want to see Luffy fighting Doffy as a fish.
He wouldn't be able to extend his legs in that costume
Question: If Fujitora is blind how is he able to see people? Is it like Dragon Ball and he can sense the energy?
He wouldn't be able to extend his legs in that costume
Before this chapter I thought the same about his arms.
They'll get a yokou protection as fishman island did when Whitebeard was alive?
aka monkey DDDDDDDDD LUFFFFFYYYYYYYYY
I love Senor Pink. One of the best characters to appear in this arc.
In fact, I can't even keep track of all the interesting characters in Dressrosa.
You don't know how happy I am to see a Marine who is against the Shichibukai system. Almost all of them have contrasting motives and aren't reliable to government outside of combat.
Fujitora is looking to stir up change for the better by destroying the flawed power scale that the WG set up. Reverie might just come sooner than we expected.
And dammit, Oda. Sabo has his pipe back. This is cruel and unusual teasing, man.
Question: If Fujitora is blind how is he able to see people? Is it like Dragon Ball and he can sense the energy?
Kenbunshoku Haki.
Question: If Fujitora is blind how is he able to see people? Is it like Dragon Ball and he can sense the energy?
I think it might be Color of Observation haki.
Nah, that's ridiculous.
/sarcasm
Question: If Fujitora is blind how is he able to see people? Is it like Dragon Ball and he can sense the energy?
He's got high levels of Kenbunshoku(think thats how you spell it) Haki, which is a form of Haki which allows him to sense the presence of others around him.
Question: If Fujitora is blind how is he able to see people? Is it like Dragon Ball and he can sense the energy?
CoO, presumably.
EDIT: Ha. Only the fourth person to answer. Reflexes like lightning over here.
Sabo's face hidden by a speech bubble? I don't know if I should laugh or cry. Next week would probably be about people aboard the Sunny or Usoland just so that we won't see Sabo's face yet and Oda and can tease us some more. I wonder how much the Reverie can change the world when it happens.
Kenbunshoku Haki.
Doe's we even know if Fuji noticed the presence of King Riku in the room?

Warlords are only useful for their strength.
If it turns out that one of them lost to a "common" pirate, they're not going to keep him around, but they also won't let him go either, as he's a pirate and probably knows about some of the inner workings of the WG.
Doe's we even know if Fuji noticed the presence of King Riku in the room?
Seeing as Fujitora is blind and hes an admiral, I'm pretty damn sure he can sense the presence of most living things around him, considering that Rayleigh could identify the presence of most of the animals if not all of them on that island when he was teaching Luffy haki.
Machvise here is looking like he is having a tail. Its probably only part of his suit but it does look a bit like tail.
!

We know. Maybe if he was deaf and couldn't use observation haki…

If that was the case, Buggy wouldn't be a shichibukai. It's a position of influence.
Nobody in the world knew about Moria's loss to Luffy and he was still perceived as strong enough to serve at Marineford as well.
It just doesn't quite add up for me.
As soon as Pink started pouring Brandy on his face he became one of my all time favorite OP villains.
I wonder when/if CP 0 is going to make its move.?
Oh boy, that does look like a tail
Flying squirrel zoan with a TON of iron on his back?
Doe's we even know if Fuji noticed the presence of King Riku in the room?
I think he did, he knew the SH's were in the bar where he was gambling.

Reminds me of beaver tail. Didn't even see it until now.
!
Wonder if it has any purpose.

Lets just pray next chapter we get to see whats going on with sanji and big mom.
I have a feeling we won't see it for a while. With all these developments on Dressrosa, suddenly showing Sunny seems out of place. I'm guessing we'll see them later on, and have a flashback of how they handled the situation.
If that was the case, Buggy wouldn't be a shichibukai. It's a position of influence.

I edited that post while you replied, but whatever.
Nobody, in this case, means the common people. Everybody in the government knew.
The moment the government stops seeing you as strong (like, losing against a relatively newbie pirate) or even influential is the moment they stop seeing you as useful.
Moriah was kept around for the war because there was no point in leaving him out of it. Rather have somebody there instead of nobody at all.

Why indeed. My mind did wander to Kaido for a second, Doffy has close enough ties to him, and he seemingly hates Moria.
But if one were to, for the sake of argument, say that was the case, what could Kaido hope to offer the nobles?
Or maybe it's just grandstanding, them showing that while they can't overrule the elder stars, they can still get their will through.
It's a fun, and completely open area for speculation.

Franky commented about him floating…OMG it is finally here! The flying squirrel zoan!
Nice catch, he probably does have some sort of flying squirrel fruit or flying squirrel themed fighting style.
Is it just me or is Zoro afraid of taking the stairs?
Stairs are very dangerous, after all…
Fujitora's decision to tell Doflamingo that he planned to come after him was pretty reckless. It seems smarter to me to keep Doflamingo in the dark about something like that. If he truly was planning on coming after him, it would be a lot better to have surprise on your side especially against an opponent like Doflamingo, because now Doflamingo knows to watch his back from Fujitora, and personally, I don't think that Fujitora is so strong that he could afford to have Doflamingo knowing about a plan like that, because the two characters seem about evenly matched to me. So now Doflamingo KNOWS that he needs to be on his guard against the marines. Fujitora could've simply helped him and lured Doflamingo into a sense of confidence, and then attacked him when he didn't expect it.
Ah well, this makes a lot more sense now, because I can't see Luffy taking Doflamingo by himself any time soon.
Yeah, I was also wondering why he prepared Dofla for what's to come. Sense of honor? To frighten him? Dofla is a sly bastard, knowing they want to get rid of him, he'll come up with a plan. Well, normally. First he'll get beaten up a bit :P
Nice catch, he probably does have some sort of flying squirrel fruit or flying squirrel themed fighting style.
Daihhhnn~~
Somebody can photoshop Machia face on it? and make it fat? and give it a suit? Joking of course :p But he can be this kind of Zoan.
So more and more od Doflamingo pirates are being confirmed as DF users..
He has a tanuki fruit but everyone is going to mistake him for a reindeer.
