Chapter 729: "Shichibukai Doflamingo Vs. Schichibukai Law"

@Devil:
Well, technically he won't appear on the manga this week neither, since there's a break…
I think he means Doflamingo on Wednesday (Law vs. DD) and now Doflamingo again in,the Anime today, but it's just the classic partying.

Oh sure, how silly of me :P

I keep forgetting, does Jump come out on Sunday or Monday in Japan?
-
mangastream still hasn't fixed there messed up translation of what Dillenger says, it really makes a huge difference in how the story's told, you'd think they'd care
-
I don't know what the matchups will be like at this point, but I hope Robin and Nami don't have to fight fodder or the typical female characters. Robin's fight at Skypiea was one of her only interesting ones, I'm hoping that she could fight Pica in this arc or even beat Doflamingo at a mental game.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Just realized that Senior Pink has a sword, could it say something about who Zoro will fight. Also I really want to see Gladius in action, he looks like one of the more interesting members of the Doflamingo family.

Usually, Weekly Shonen Jack is out on Mondays. However, when a national holiday falls on Monday, the release date is moved to a Saturday instead.

That's a given. 10 Seconds between each shot, at least.
Hey, if they do half as good a job with it as they did with the black-and-white "Blackbeard-crew-shoots-up-Whitebeard" scene, I'll gladly sit through some filler.

Is luffy gonna fight diamante&burgess 2 on 2 with bartolomeo? or is he gonna go straight to fighting dofla… tough decision for him! Is there possibly a reason why none of the old characters that are grandfathers have been turned to toys? ie chinjao and king riku. zoro vs fujitora seems likely. kinemon vs bastille probable. the only uncertainty is Luffy's gut reaction in the next panel we see. So excited for 2 weeks from now!

If zoro can fight an admiral already, that means doflamingo's a joke

Because it doesnt make sense…
If zoro can beat fujitora now then luffy is already as strong as Akainu. -
-
Yeah, can he win? Not right now
alright, but is he a real challenge to an admiral? because if he is luffy can beat doflamingo easily
-

I can't answer that question because we haven't seen him fight yet but If Oda was keeping him at bay for this long is for a reason also Luffy and Zoro have always been equals in strength, Luffy a little bit stronger, so I don't know why people talk about Zoro like he's Usopp
-

He is not ussop for sure, but we are talking about an admiral here. The 3 admirals are the ultimate line of attack and or defense of the marines ( pretty much those 3 can take out the rest of the marines by themselves) and ultimately the world government. If someone like zoro( as strong as he probably is) can give an admiral a run for his money it means the marines are in serious trouble.

If an admiral can toss Zoro aside like an ant, then the 2 year TS was meaningless. That was exactly want happen at Saobody 2yrs ago. Can he beat an admiral probably no, but can he hold him at bay why others run or some things get done? absolutely yes.

Sure, i agree with that. The point is: holding is a different beast than fighting. Those two are very different things, in my book.

Sereques already answered it, so I'm out of over 9000s

Zoro could absolutely handle Fujitora right now. Could he beat him? maybe, but doubtful. we havent seen hardly any of zoro's new technique yet, nor seen him fight a legitimate enemy. Also, Fujitora was conscripted to the Navy meaning they were desperate for people, he probably isnt as strong as aokiji or akainu

No there was a global enlistment. People choose to, Isshou was given the tank of Admiral. I think Fujitoras gravity is too much for Zoro.

No, Doflamingo himself commented on Fujitora and the other Admiral on being monsters.
-
I will be so pissed if Luffy defeats Diamante AND Doflamingo.
We need to let the other crew members shine. I'd rather see Zoro face Diamante and Franky take on Pica while Sanji gets Trevor

I'd be Pissed if Luffy beats Doflamingo probably gonna be some random bullshit.

You don't even know how the gravity thing works yet you conclude it will be too much for Zoro. I guess he stayed with Mihawk for two years learning how to grow corn and kill rabbits for lunch.
-
i want luffy to defeat mingo in a single fight. for a change. to prove his 2 years of training. if it means going all out (surely he'll be going all out, it's DD afterall)

Assuming how much pressure it put in chapter 701 and Isshou holding Law down it's straight forward. Not saying Zoro is weak because I think he is a complete beast. But yeah, we need to see more of Fujitora.

The two years of training wasn't to defeat everyone easily. It was so Luffy can survive in the new world, Luffy will get better an better.

What pressure? You mean the pressure Law easily swap out of when Sunny showed up?
-

To be fair, Law did not escape from the hold he just switched him with a rock, which is easy with law's Df but zoro has has to overcome with his sheer physical strength if he is hold by fujitora..
-

No. Fujitora got distracted by a marine having his heart squeezed. Whilst he was distracted he let his gravity off which allowed law to escape.
-
LOL, we can forget the part where Law told him he will be escaping before he actually did. For someone like Law to get out of there shows that prison is BS. Considering Law powers need a prep time.

I think the more pressure you put the more you will be crushed. He crushed the floor in 701 by gravity. He didn't want to kill Law. But the real question is how the fuck he gets meteors.

The two years training is for Luffy to enter new world and go straight to the top not survive it… Luffy, Zoro and Sanji pre-Timeskip can already survive the new world...

I'm sure Chopper can crush that floor with Heavy point. How he got his meteors is none of my concerns, saying Zoro can't deal with that ability is what I find laughable.
-
A guy that has been weightlifting his whole life, cannot overcome gravity… Nice
-
Zoro vs Fuji??
Damn, some people just want to see Zoro Burn.

Well I'm sure Rayleighs words don't mean anything.

That means Fujitora is Childs play to Doflamingo.
-
Jajajaja Rayleight's words doesn't mean anything, this isn't DBZ and Fujitora is a playground for Doflamingo…
Even my signature is laughing
-
Bon Clay's waiting for Doflamingo to replace him as the new leader of the newkamas in impel down.

i knerr.
i noticed something, you really like DD so much that you're afraid that luffy might kick his ass in a single fight.

I like Luffy more you fool. It's just too mainstream to name my account after a strawhat. I give 100% guarantee DD won't lose first fight.
-
There will only be one fight though, unless you are saying Luffy will end up in Level 6 Impel down in chains.

There is no point in me saying anything. Just let the story go and see what happens

I can't imagine the SH getting out of their fight against DD without someone losing his arm or his leg: DD cut Oz Jr.'s leg like it was hot butter…
(Maybe Zoro will even lose his last eye ? :-O)
