Well… that episode was a little underwhelming. I dunno what it was but it wasn't as spectacular as it should've been. I did like the part where Muscle Man DDR'd the spike trap. More awesome points for him.

I really enjoyed last week's Rigny/Aileen ep. Bout time those two got some more development.
(tho I know She took her glasses off at the end to protect them from getting crushed, but I can't help but feel part of that was Rigby liking it when she doesn't wear them)
Loved the Back to the Future, Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings stuff in the christmas ep.
-
I feel like half a decade ago, opening a kid's christmas special with Santa getting shot would be heretical or something. This is why I love this show.
-
That was a great x-mas speical for Regular Show. The best part of it was Pops wrestling a Polar Bear.
-
Well, this week's episode was rather cute. Was awesome seeing Eileen hang out with Mordecai and Rigby as if she was one of the bros. Loved the 80s ghosts and all the little references to past episodes.

Yeah, the thing that keeps Regular Show at top-tier is the relatively real-time character development. You get to see some of the character relationships grow over the course of the series and that helps you understand them much better. The Rigby and Eileen thing is probably the best example, since you could see him warming up to her over the episodes. This episode had some good character moments, too, like Margret hitting herself for sounding stupid on the phone. Most shows write that as a one-way thing, which just leaves the love interest as some piece of booty at the end of the castle rather than a real human being who's internally just as awkward and self-depricating as the next person. The show has defined its cast well.
I guess that makes it more of a shame that they had to include Thomas. By the way they sidelined that character, I assume it was just the usual incompetent executives not knowing how tv works:

How about that, a 4th of July episode in January. I like this episode a lot. Benson is mostly raging over Muscle Man for once, and Muscle Man isn't being a jerk to M+R. The fireworks were obviously a drug joke, which was kinda funny. And this episode's WTFery was pretty entertaining with the fireworks show. 9/10 for me. Gotta say, so far this season RS has been better than AT, whereas AT was better last season.

Holy shit guys, Boom comics just hired K.C. Green to write their upcoming Reg Show comics!
-
Just watched the last two episodes back-to-back.
The Longest Weekend was aight, but there's too many Muscle Man episodes now. At least there was plenty of stuff with the other characters. Also Moredcai and Margaret really just need to get together already, unless they're planning that for a season/series finale or something.
Sandwich of Death was better. Just more 80s goodness and Benson's being a prick biting him in the ass. I watched it while eating a sandwich, which prolly made it more enjoyable.

"You've got the Touch!
You've got the POWWWWEEEERRRRRR!
YEAH!" -
words only cheapen ,nay, fail to describe the awsomnes which I have witnessed. Everything that I see after this will seem infinitely insignificant after viewing something so daringly epic and awe inspiring…...
-
That episode was just amazing. Thats all I can say about it.
-
That may have been the best and funniest episode of the series so far.

I remember when it first dawned on me that he just skips around.

Haha the song during the fight in this week's episode was pretty cool. Reminded me of the beginning of Honest Sleep.

Now that I think of it, it sort of is like a rockier version of- HOLY SHIT someone else here cares about Touché Amoré. You, sir, win a Wagomu point.
Edit: Wow, there's your sig, too. Apparently, the aviators on my avatar have been covering for my severe blindness instead of just ironically fake covering for my pretend blindness.

Oh man thanks
Wagomu, for I am just a lowly !What are you doing stop being psychic. Goat King is the title I get my packages sent to (this is true and I actually just switched it up from Electric Wizard a couple days ago). Also, come to think of it, I forgot to mention I was blasting Honest Sleep yesterday before I got back and responded to that post. You are definitely psychic and should help keep the music subforum alive, but you probably already knew I was going to type that, being psychic and all.

I thought the most recent episode was pretty good. It was nice reference to a previous episode from last season with Muscle Man's storyline.
-
Damn I felt that pain.
-
why must the fates be so cruel to him?!
-
He finally works up the courage to do something first try, and he gets shot down. What a bummer.
-
Saw it coming =P
-
that was totally mulder and scully 8D
-
Lol poor Mordecai.

The Thanksgiving special was really great.
! Its nice to finally to see Mordecai and Rigby's parents. And I really like the joke with Thomas finally taking off his costume from the Halloween speical.
-
I'd like to get back to watching more of this show but finding some episodes was a bit annoying.
Can't even remember the last episode I've seen.
-
That was really interesting ending of the new episode.
! I didn't expect CJ to come back to the show. The upcoming episodes are going to be interesting now.

Really great episode tonight.
! The ending of the episode was pretty sad and that Skip still have the locket with him was really sweet. And it was cool to see how Skip met some of other characters in the first place.
-
"I like you hi" was such a good episode. Liking this development with CJ.

wow….
! Thomas just went from normal intern to epic spy guy intern in my book. plus he karate-flipped muscle man.
-
Agree that was a great episode this week.
-
okay i saw "Real Date" i gotta say..best episode in my opinion.
! Mordecai and CJ finally step up their relationship with an actual date. But a C.E.O. of a dating site, who i think is physical representation of some higher power that's screwing with Mordecai's love life, tries to end it by telling Mordecai to break up with CJ. And when the C.E.O. decides to intervene directly, instead of Mordecai getting the gate in the end, CJ goes hurricane and gets rid of the C.E.O. for good. So now Mordecai and CJ are officially a couple.
also…
! a possible hint of a relationship between Rigby and Eileen.
-
The new season of Regular Show starts next Thursday.

The first episode of the new season was pretty great. I really like the development of the Mordecai and CJ stuff.
