Yes, and crazy Kitty always got lynched Day 1. That's why I'm playing more cautiously. Or trying to. I want to survive and be useful.
I feel like order is more important because when people act as a unit, we're working together. If everyone's just doing their own thing, it's easier for the Mafia to hide in the chaos. If there is order, the mafia HAS to contribute to that, and we can spot them easier, I think.

Kitsune, about this no lynch or only vote bandwagons idea you have been talking about, when did you decide to take this stance? Did you decide this before the game or is there something in the rules that made you want to play like this? I mean I can sorta understand where you are coming from but I'm curious as to your motivations.
I felt that encouraging bandwagons would potentially lure out Mafia to the same wagon. I was, at the time I started going after a wagon, in a "Let's end the day already" mindset. Like I said, I wanted to get on with it. The only thing that changed my tune was the gun I now have.

Okay, I can totally see the case where you are innocent and just being honest, but you must be aware that your slow leaking of information is suspicious to the point of hilarity. What you just said sounds like "okay guys, clearly this has backfired and you are suspecting me for the scum I am, so why don't I "discard" the gun and we can all pretend none of this ever happened?"

That's because I didn't think the discard mechanic was relevant until now. Now that I think about it, maybe the ONLY way to get more guns is to flush them. Yes, I'm aware I look suspicious. I don't give a fuck though because I'm not Mafia. Surely I've reached the brink of "so suspicious he HAS to be innocent" already. >_> See, this is why I'm so burned out by this game. Why not? Usually this punishment is automatic in the form of the day ending.
It's only normal (and game theory optimal) for the village to take their time because it makes it harder for the wolves keep to their story and not slip up. Although to be fair, the game format is nothing I have seen before so I may need to be more open-minded. Still I don't think we should particularly rush things until we hear from some lower content posters like galaxy.
I've relooked over my PM. It just says the gun will "no longer be held by you", not that someone else will get it. It might be thrown away into the ether, but the wording does cause me to suspect someone else might get it.
Right now, I feel like my lynch is the most important thing because it validates with 100% certainty that everything I've said about this gun is true.

Sorry but i don't agree with this, this is why i wanted to lynch a lurker in the first place, i've seen it too many times that town was literally ripping itself apart while the mafia was entirely made of lurkers. Why do you think they would not be there?
Literally speaking, you don't find lurker mafia on the first day. Mafia knows better that to be the subject of a lurker lynch on D1. If it's a lurker mafioso, you'll see them drop off later in the game-maybe around the 60th hour of game time. In a nightless setup like this, we can eliminate the lurker threat entirely by inciting debate.

Your behavior is very villagery impulsive but please realize that throwing away the gun isn't exactly helping town because we could have so easily let you confirm it all the while killing a suspect.
My first instinct with guns is to ignore them. They tend to throw town off of its lynching mood. Guns are dangerous (obviously). Town thinks that they can supplement or assist the lynch with it. But if there is a power in play, the natural thought is that there are "pow-ERZ" at play (plural).
Speculation begets more speculation and the gun-holder becomes despondent.
My opinion is to lynch as normal, if the mafia can kill at all, then they would clearly go after KI who is packin' heat. We get our lynch, we get a flip, we get on with the scum hunt. If this is an extended ruse to cover the mafia's kill, then it is simple enough to demand control over KI's target-as was stated earlier.

Most of the players have shown quite some activity, which definitely warms my heart (it's still frozen though). Nothing really suspicious has come forward out of all this discussion, aside from Kitsune's claim, and the whole vorlianis thing. There are some people I am getting some town vibes from, going by the way they've been talking and reacting to things. That gives me some people that I wouldn't consider for lynch today.
What remains, are people who have been to vague or inactive to get a proper read on them. For now I would say these are Red Hawk, Galaxy 9000 and trappedolphin.
All three have been talked about quite a lot, so their flip could give us information. Though after what happened, vorlianis' flip could also give us a pretty good insight. So I would consider these four for lynching. Unfortunately, there can only be one…

Well, if you put it that way I guess it looks suspicious. But what you don't seem to take into account, is that I don't have any allies/supporters/people I support. Everyone is a possible enemy to me, and there is no one I am trying to protect, aside from myself. That includes the possibility of standing opposed to someone I earlier shared an opinion with; in whole, I stand alone.

I switched my votes a lot because I'm not sure who I can trust. I'm a newbie so I'm trying to stay active in the game by switching votes. That's not the best way to stay active Red Hawk. You don't just vote so people don't think you're lurking. Going crazy and voting randomly makes it seem like you're willing to join any wagon, as long as you yourself are safe.

Well, if you put it that way I guess it looks suspicious. But what you don't seem to take into account, is that I don't have any allies/supporters/people I support. Everyone is a possible enemy to me, and there is no one I am trying to protect, aside from myself.
If I'm operating under the assumption that you are mafia, then it would be probable that you would have an accomplice/partner. That's a given if I'm prepared to build a wagon.

I've stated what I think about his voting habits. But to elaborate, they're clearly erratic. It is suspect, but I have others that I would rather pursue. If he's mafia, he's making himself target for policy lynching. I can't say it's worth the ruse. Five people have already voted him. It's pretty obvious how town feels about it.

Galaxy 9000 [Shuhan, Red Hawk]: His first vote was a policy lynch that ended with the target being removed from the game. From there he doesn't make any other moves. There's nothing to hold accountable for. He did what I asked, but was it because I asked him? The second vote he put down was on Red…in response to being voted? That would make him very defensive. He would be justified, based on the chatter calling him the new lurker.
trappedolphin [vorlianis]: There's only one vote to look at. That's fairly telling in and of itself, especially considering the length of time that this vote was held onto. It was made in the opening posts of the game. There haven't been any developments other than one or two policy pushes. Even then, a vote has not been put out since. Very disconcerting in a phase as long as this one. It's as if no one has interacted with trapped since the start. This has earned her three votes over the course of the phase. Two from Foolio on separate occasions.
vorlianis [Kitsune Inferno, trappedolphin]: The way that these votes are organized makes him look extremely contained. He voted KI at the start to be voted in return by trapped. (who was in turn voted by Mrs. Iceburg.) If there have been suspects for him to mention, he didn't use any votes to do it. There was a long interval between his votes, and for him to turn to trappedolphin gives the impression that he's only got eyes for her.

Kitsune Inferno [NL, vorlianis, Red Hawk, Kitsune Inferno]: Quite a ride by any means. The stances certainly vary from each other. The NL vote was in the early stages of the phase, and has mostly passed from mention or contention. Second on the vorlianis wagon, it could be argued that he was its instigator. His intention of continuing a wagon as opposed to starting a new one was indicative of pushing town forward. I would swiftly join him for that sake. After a long bout with his gun claim he votes himself. Self voting is…bad. It's bad. Don't do that.
Foolio : The undisputed champion of voting. Voting appears more of a tool for enforcing activity rather than a means to lynch as evidenced by his first two wagons. Both wagons had no support garnered before his exits. His third vote was on a quiet player, but it was previously occupied by Mrs. Iceburg. Her vote was mostly random in nature, causing her to depart the wagon immediately upon his arrival. The fourth vote was used to coerce more information from the recent claims of KI. His return to trappedolphin is likely compounded with KI's refusal to discuss her.

Not at all. I'm sure it could seem that way, but my vote against Red Hawk is strictly due to his erratic behavior during the course of the game. All he has done is point fingers at others in his posts. Here are his posts, in order. I've bolded parts that seem suspicious to me (also note that the erratic behavior is how fast he switches targets).

That's not what I expected. You're saying that one of the people who voted him is his partner. That seems like much too big a risk to be true. I'd buy Foolio, because it was so early in the day with no real expectations. The three person wagon you're pointing at could have been completed had they not abandoned ship like they did. Which may point to one of them colluding, but again, seems more likely that mafia doesn't vote each other. I'll win easy.

There are two that I can think of if Red Hawk is truly mafia.
Red Hawk has stated that he is a newbie, so if mafia, a few slipups could definitely happen.
First though, about Iceburg, her lynching of Red Hawk seemed the most legitimate out of them all. There were no patterns in the way they posted, and no "close posting". Can't really get a reading on Wintergt, and it just seems a little weird that a "lurker" such as himself would be mafia along with another lurker.
I am going out soon, so for now I'll just answer Harvady's question.
Today's lynch is of the utmost importance because as far as I can tell, it's the only way to move the game forward. No night phase, no limit for the day to end. So while a lot of players tend to be annoying and conservative and of a no-lynch mindset, here you cowards are being literally forced to do it. All I can say is if 3 (real) days from now we are still on day 1, I will be disappointed in you all. So, so disappointed.

1. Foolio started the lynch to make himself look innocent later, when Red Hawk turned as Mafia. It's harder to suspect somebody that pushed for the lynch. Red Hawk did not respond to Foolio in the mafia thread, so Foolio thought his best shot would be to push to get rid of his inactive partner, so that suspicions are not raised against him later. Red Hawk posts in the mafia thread, and to cover their tracks, Red Hawk votes to lynch Foolio. This makes it seem to other people that Foolio was just lynching him because of how new he was, and not because of an ulterior motive. Of course, it's also possible that Red Hawk was in on it the whole time, and it was done to confuse the non-mafia players.
2. The Kitsune and Red Hawk wagon is a bit more far fetched, and a bit similar to the Foolio one, so it's probably just a coincidence. Something that I saw that was a bit different, though, was how Red Hawk suddenly changed his mind. Perhaps this is him taking orders from the other thread? I'll quote the posts below:

My vote for Vor was because I wanted to board one of the four existing wagons. Vor has been more productive than trapped, but not as much as Foolio or winter and I've got my reasons for not going after trapped yet. Winter and Foolio were both far more productive and so I didn't go after either.
With that said, now that it exists, I have no problem boarding the Red Hawk wagon. It's a good a wagon as any.

The main suspicions I found with these four posts were just how close each set was to one another. 9:29 A.M. for one, 9:34 A.M. for another. 10:05 A.M. for one, 10:15 A.M. for another. We need answers to many different things that have happened today, and the only way I see that being possible is if we see what a lynch brings us.

First of all, my reasons for voting Red Hawk were more a matter of trying to find someone we could all agree on- a lurker. At that point the Day had been dragging on for a long time already, and a consensus seemed very far away. So I said this:

Look, we've been sitting here discussing for several real-time days now. As good as nothing has happened. The voting is a constant ping pong game of "oh no it's you! ah wait nevermind" and it's starting to look like we're not reaching a conclusion anytime soon. What are we waiting to happen? Someone else getting a gun? Someone scumslipping? Bogart bringing us milk and cookies?

Red Hawk plays exactly like I've seen beginning players play in the past. There is nothing all that suspicious about him. Harvady continues to be very fishy. Galaxy looks like scum to me, I mean the premeditated way he shows up here now is not town, it looks like a product of scum planning.

Usually newbie scums tend to err on the side of caution, I think? Slip-ups aside and I've already said that I'm not waiting for those.

As you've acknowledged yourself, this is all speculation. But I do admire the lengths you went to to try to create this story. So here's a question, if we lynch Red Hawk today and he flips town, what will your next step be? Conversely, if he flips mafia, who will you go after - Foolio, Kitty, or someone else entirely? What if they both vote for Reddie?

Also this is going to make me an awful awful person and I'll probably be single FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE but I don't like sadfacing Kitty and I'm not sure I buy it totally. I also don't think Kitty and Foolio are both mafia - I can believe they would decide that Kitty would create a ridiculous claim which Foolio would call him out on, but the pattern in which Foolio voted him, Kitty selfvoted, and then Foolio immediately unvoted, doesn't look like a scumbuddy play to me.
