Geez, just from whats been revealed I already have a full team and then some…. And thats not counting the dozens of things yet to be revealed... plus old stuff no doubt popping up before the new stuff does in places...

Dependant on actual evolutions, move sets, stats, when they appear, what everything else has to offer, etc...

I've tentatively decided to go for Y. I like Yveltal a lot more than Xerneas, for one. But so far I like the other version exclusives, too. If Skrelp gets a cool evolution, I may very well use him for my water-type. Water/Poison is a good combination.

I'm also planning to use a Gardevoir/Gallade combination again (just did the same in White 2). Gardy now being a part-Fairy-type dragon slayer just makes it too hard to resist going for again. If Fennekin really does end up evolving into a part-Psychic-type, then that'd make 3 Psychics on one team, but oh well.

That's my excuse for not switching up my team when Elesa's Emolgas where wrecking 5/6s of them.

I'll go blind, I'll get Froakie most likelly, fromt he revealed ones Noivern and Pancham migth be part of my team but I'll see, if I see something nice I'll catch it and maybe ditch an already revealed Pokemon just so I can be suprised, for example I love Pangoro its my favourite rigth now along Noivern but I may not use them, probably will anyway atleast Pancham/Pangoro but I'll see then.

Apparently its a new pokemon that appeared in an Horde battle before the new movie started, I'm assuming it will get revealed next week or even today on Smash.

As for it being Sudowood evolution, I kinda doubt, it seems like an actual old tree not a fake tree made of rock, so its probably a new line, hopefully Grass/Ghost or Grass/Dark

It is supposed to be a new pokemon from the movie, or a short around the movie, or something, I know the word movie was in their some damn where. An evil-looking tree with spider legs was it's description. An evolution of the grass/ghost pumpkin? A grass/dark or bug type? The Grass/Ghost Pumpkin doesn't exist, it was a rumour about CoroCoro but CoroCoro has come out and we know it doesn't exist, like I said its from a game trailer that aired before the movie.

So basically they're taking the "who care about the old movie that everyone came to love" approach and just decided that mewtwo in this movie would be different and for some odd reason a female. Eh, nintendo -.-

This Mewtwo had no much story revealed, this is supposed to be canon just like the first movie but apparently Satoshi doesn't recognize Mewtwo, the producer/writer wtv he is said it isa new one, which makes no sense, they didn't explain its origins, basicly it says it was created in a lab and killed the scientists(just like the first Mewtwo).

Nintendo or Gamefreak have nothing to do with this.

Also Nintendo don't have control over what the anime does I believe and only a bit of control on what the Pokemon company and game freak do

This may have been mentioned, but, that black guy is called "Leader Grant" and he's into various fitness…stuff (i.e. rock climbing, mountain biking etc.) With that in mind, he sounds more like a Fighting-type gym leader as opposed to a Rock-type gym leader.

And the guy with the glasses and robotic arms is also a gym leader called "Leader Clemont" (who I still think is going to be an Electric-type gym leader).

Yeah I kinda though that after the description, people were just talking about rock climbing at first but apparently he is a good athelete basicly.

? Neither grass nor ghost are weak against psychic types.
Grass/Ghost has never been done while we had a Grass/Dark before (Cacturne). Plus Grass/Ghost is slightly better (five weaknesses instead of six, no double weakness, and two immunities instead of just one)
