Look in the anime section, there's a thread for it there.
So, is there a break next week? I remember there was an argument about that.
So, is there a break next week? I remember there was an argument about that.
There was no argument about that. The "argument" was about the week after.
Here:
@Aohige_AP:
Double issues usually covers the following week.
This chapter (705) is published in issue 20.
Issue 22/23 will probably be published the Saturday of prior week, meaning the 27th. Is what I'm guessing. So,
issue 20 - 4/15 (One Piece 705)
issue 21 - 4/22 (One Piece 706)
issue 22/23 - 4/27 (One Piece 707)
issue 24 - 5/13 (One Piece 708)Is my guess.
Unless Oda takes a break separate from WSJ's schedule, but let's hope not.
@Jackermeister => Oh, I see.
Well, thank you both.
@Sander => And why is that? I take it that you mean the 22nd, not the 15th? :/
Thank you anyway.
Nevermind my post,it was what I recalled reading here a while back.Good thing I notedI could've been mistaken.
I cant imagine how strong kaidou is….
(Secretly waiting for this spoiler guy who posts true stufff way earlier ^^)
Some y'all seem to have forgotten that Law is still a shichibukia, meaning Fujitora won't do anything or the marines won't attack him(WG can't afford losing 2 shichibukia at the same time, so they keeping Law for now).

My bet is at the end of this arc Doflamingo will still be a Shichibukai and Law not

Dofla's resignation was legit. The WG won't take back a traitor as that would be bad for their public image.
! @TheGreatestSwordsman:
! > Anyone else annoyed at Momo? Seriously, why the hell are 3 pirates trying to cheer him up? What an annoying little brat. I do find him funny that he's a little pervert, but why on earth is Brook doing what Momo wants…
! Agreed, finally get how people felt about the Sanji/ blood gag, except now it applies to Momo in general.
! Although it's interesting, thinking/ wondering if we're getting a foreshadowing possibly for the samurai country, in that the girls, and maybe the rest of the SH's, might have a lot, or 'a bit' of outfit changes, and 'acting' in different roles for disguise, for whatever reason.
(But not really)
Because Sabo he Sabo is Sabo obviously Sabo someone Sabo we Sabo already Sabo know Sabo.
There, I know you want to say it.
Nah, enough people have said him, didn't feel that needed repeating again; and it is so expected, almost see it as not happening now…
Although...
the last time a character's identity was this much "in shadows" with them seemingly being almost directly within the SH's 'orbit', and shown displaying decent strength, and 'mysteriousness', was...:ninja:
Ace...:wassat:
just pointing it out...
But I was thinking a bit even more "outside the box" actually...
@Master:
Since Fujitora is headed to Green Bit, I think Law is probably going to have to deal with him, since he is now in alliance and his status is at a risk, plus caesar there!
So I`ll go for Law vs Fujitora & some Doflamingo underlings ( 1 of those 4 dudes showed in shadows with the chairs). In the other hand, Doflamingo is probably going to show in the tournament and is going to manipulate with some participants ( with his ability).
We have already seen a Vice Admiral defeated in the tournament so I doubt there is any other strong marine out there.
Bartolomeu looks dangerous and I hope he will make some good match-ups with either Luffy or other DD members.Burgess and Mr.Diamante are probably the biggest threats out there for Luffy.
What about Burgess? What do you think his ability is?
I know he looks like a freaking Haki Master guy and his physical appearance.. but since BB crew is said to be after the stronges DF users, I am truly waiting to see what kind of ability this guy has gotten!
As DARK_RITUAL said, Law could conceivably not have to necessarily fight 'against the Admiral', seeing as how technically so far, doubt he's done anything(that the Marines know of) to break his agreement establishing his rights as a Shichibukai. Look at all Boa was able to get away with, partly because no 1 knew, and partly because there was just that much leniency for Shichibukai.
I'd also would think DD would be the 1 to go to Green Bit as he's seemingly made this very personal to him, or at least decently personal for him to drop his smiling, laughing,'take -things as -they -may -be -but -turn it -to -your -advantage -all -while -making it -look -like -with -ease' facade.
Dofla's resignation was legit. The WG won't take back a traitor as that would be bad for their public image.
Agreed.
As for the Sanji/ Violet situation, it seems like the "cross-hairs" target is Violet's shoulder, till Sanji, possibly purposely gets into the sightline(acting as a shield/ obstacle for sight), then knocks out the sniper. But why do I get the feeling, now knowing Sanji is "strong", Violet crazily will have a whole list of 'exes' that she'll want him to destroy, and or including that sniper, some might unknowingly/ unwittingly have ties to the Marine forces, (or other great power's forces, Shichibukai/ Yonkou/ WG), now positioned there, bringing it all back together.
Law told smoker about green bit so marines would come there. He is still a warlord so marines cant do anything to him…which means DD is gonna get screwed lol Ceaser will end up in impel down I bet!

So the arc ends at Green Bit. Exciting!
I don't know if it will happen, but logically if a situation arises in which Law and Fujitora talk to one another.. if Law were to explain to him that Luffy along with his crew are going to take down a Yonko, this would be better for the government. Either they take down one of the 4 most dangerous pirates in the world, or they die and two really strong up and coming crews are not in the way. Most Admirals would be for this, the only one that I can see being against it is Akainu, since the guy is obssessed with taking down Luffy and wouldn't look at things the same way. However since Fujitora is there and it's his choice, I can see him allowing Law & Co. leave on the deal that they Kaido down, if Law bothers to mention who it is they are targetting.
Lots of ifs and buts obviously, considering Doflamingo is soon to play his cards and things could certainly turn upside down for Luffy and Law.

I think the governments view is exactly opposite. Like it has been mentioned before, they don't want the 3 main powers disrupted. It keeps the world intact. After the death of Whitebeard so much shit happened..I doubt they want some kids taking over by killing/defeating a yonkou and having a repeat. If the news gets around of Kaidou being defeated, more chaos in the world and more problems for the WG & Marines.
Is there any speculation on who the fat guy with a beard holding the flag on the cover page is?

huh? What you comparing? I see nothing alike…
This guy is fat, it must be him.
Because it is impossible for even those who rarely spurt out x is nakama to see a similarity between a Color Walk 2 villain and an introduced character.
Because it is entirely idiotic for me to mention something I had a first impression of to someone who asked if the character reminded anyone of some other character.
Because I am manically shoving into everyone's throats how the Color Walk 2 villain IS the new character.
Because I have shown I am wholly believing that THIS HAS TO BE the Color Walk 2 villain and no other and no one else.
Because those who are actually being serious must have some spastic, ambiguous, or pathetic theory about x character.
Oh please.

Carry on.

ex·ag·ger·a·tion *[ig-zaj-uh-rey-shuhn]
noun
1. the act of exaggerating or overstating.
2. an instance of exaggerating; an overstatement: His statement concerning the size of his income is a gross exaggeration.
Don't confuse it with sarcasm, boy.
Despite the fact that I'm not exaggerating, it calls for it when it calls for it.

If you want your ego to be safe don't post such pointless comparison.
@Portgas-D-Ace:
It could have been intended as a sort of payback from a recently banned member like Foxy.
Wait, Foxy was banned??? Huh, no wonder…
Having marines that we didn't see in the war like Vergo, Maynard, Yarisugi and Fujitora open a few important questions IMHO.

- Did we really see the Navy's full power (or 90% of it) in the war 2 years ago?
- Do marines move in OP's world within limited areas they are appointed to? (like working in New World only, or in Paradise only, or in one of the Blues only)
- El Bearduardo for Nakama (irrelevant) -_-
No we didn't, they have bases in the New World that needed to be manned as well. You also have to consider the agents from the WG as well.
I think that while it is clear the WG did not have 100% of their power present at the war, it would have been close to it. Something like 80-90% sounds reasonable to me, with only maybe a few high-tier guys like Fujitora (if he was enlisted at the time, which may or may not have been the case) not participating. Beyond Sengoku, Garp, the admirals, and the shichibukai, i can't imagine that they would even have THAT much more to offer.
@Portgas-D-Ace:

huh? he got banned? why?

I don't think we can count the agents in a war like this.. so as the shichibukais.
The shichibukais, the agents and the marines are forces in listed in the WG and each one of them has a different way. So when I am talking about the Marines, I'm talking about people with ranks, starting from the Navy Solider up to the Fleet Admiral.
But probably you are right about the force.. they DO have bases in the New World that needed to be manned as well.

In that case, the Marineford War should never had happened.
It's true that the WG tries to keep the things intact, but only when it comes to the Shichibukai and Marines, which they have control over.
The chaos that ensues when a Yonkou falls is a natural consequence that eventually goes away.

Yeah I was only talking the force as a whole but as individualistic force yes they did.

Once again: Yes, Foxy is banned. He, along with kenjitr and Strelok, got banned on April Fools day. As for the "why":@Aohige_AP:
"I'm going to talk shit to you but if you talk shit to me I'm going to hide behind forum rules" isn't exactly a staple of a good member.
Also, he made a new account and tried to return: http://forums.arlongpark.net/showthread.php?t=38642 lol
I looked up his name to see what his last post was. But it was in the April Fool's thread. I can only assume whatever he did last got deleted.
Anyways….to stay on topic.
I greatly enjoyed this chapter. Normally I wouldn't like so much going on, but every now and then we do need an overall establishing chapter to remind us where people are and to see some progress. Although I think the only progress was actually on Zoro's end. Creatures of all sort seem to follow or attach to him for the weirdest reasons.
-Random creatures sitting on his head.
-Chopper clinging to him.
-The South Bird.
-This Fairy?

What are your predictions for the next chapter? I hope it'll mostly focus on one group.
I heard about the theory that Bartoromeo will get the Mera Mera because he's based on the same pirate as Ace. Where was it stated, and how do we know that Ace is based on him? After all, "Portgas" isn't exactly the same as "Bartolomeu Portugues".
What are your predictions for the next chapter? I hope it'll mostly focus on one group.
Two options:
1. Revelations: Reveal of the fairy that is with Zoro, Reveal of the intruder at the Sunny or the Reveal of Bartolomeo.
2. Block B in to the action, ending with the beginning of Block C showing Lucy in front of Bellamy.

I like both of these. I'll favor Block B action leading into Block C
