LOL, I've been learning Spanish for a while, so I have no problem helping people with the grammar, which is the tricky part, since it has a different structure than English.

…but what I dont like is people going '' HE IS THE AMIRAL, PERIOD '' always feeling like I missed something and it gets annoying...
Look, I know what it's like to miss things, I really do. I am probably one of the least observant readers of One Piece out there. Before coming to the forums to this thread, my first thoughts upon reading the chapter about the blind man's identity ran along the lines of:
"He seems like a swordsman type, I bet he's one of the missing samurai! Oh, but wait, then why didn't Kinemon have a reaction shown? Oh well, I'm stumped then".
I don't recognize famous Japanese actors. I don't even recognize when the art-style of a characters design swerves towards the realistic, evidently.
But the thing is, the thread explains those things to me. It's why I love reading it. People say 'He is the admiral, period', and I wonder what exactly it is I missed, just like you. But then I keep reading, and I see that it is explained: 'He is designed after this famous Japanese actor, this is something that is only and always done for admirals'.
It is, in fact, explained over and over and over, since people evidently don't bother to read and so it consistently comes up, which of course gets frustrating for those doing the explaining.
It's not as though why people say he is clearly the new admiral is some sort of secret. Nobody is saying 'Oh, you can't see why he's clearly the new admiral? You poor inferior One Piece reader, fufufu'. No, people are saying 'You can see why he's clearly the new admiral? Pick any furring page of this thread and read it, it's come up and been explained a billion times by now, we're sick of it'.
they were the Goureisei with all the beards & stuff
Foreshadowing who will fight the Goureisei at the end of the series :ninja:

Foreshadowing who will fight the Goureisei at the end of the series :ninja:
All of the SHs won't fight the Gorosei Here are the people who I think will fight Gorosei Dragon, Luffy, Shogun of Wano, Coby, Enel
Please people don't say that he is admiral Fujitora. He is not him…
OK Lets say it was Kizaru wouldn't everyone recognize him? Of course they would…
So why none of them recognized Fujitora?
Quoting myself from earlier:
Shanks, Ace, Aokiji and Rayleigh went through the same thing.
All famous, but nobody recognized them.
Also, with the way Fujitora is dressing and acting, recognizing him would be harder than usual. People expect Admirals to walk around in stylish suits and not get distracted with stuff like gambling. Plus, the fact that the king of Dressrosa is a pirate himself justifies his unassuming behavior.

Maybe because they never met him before? Just like with Aokiji and Kizaru…
Could someone tell me in which panel Momonosuke punches Luffys balls? I've been staring at his crotch for a few minutes now but I can't spot anything (:getlost:).
I dont think it would hurt luffy. His balls are rubber after all..

Thanks to you, even tho ive been reading the whole thread lol, anyways as i said, ill try and post less self reactions unless i have relevant stuff to say.
That person is definitively admiral Fujitora,
But he is a sword guy, so I think he is going to fight Law.
Zoro and Kinemon also have katanas…
Please people don't say that he is admiral Fujitora. He is not him…

Well for one thing, he is fairly new…
Well, it's just too hard to believe that the blind guy is an admiral.
I think he is a new nakama.
Good Going Bro!! you obviosly did not read last few pages.. Have fun with the people quoting you.
? Well…..2 out of 5 ain't bad.
@400MillionBelis:
This isn't fantasy football.
Who do you think will fight the Gorosei?
Why doesn't he reflect Akainu's Absolute Justice?
How did he get to Dressrosa so fast?
Regarding your second question…
In the last chapter, Akainu's lines may not have always been translated correctly, as he speaks in a Japanese dialect that is sometimes difficult to translate. BUT according to our resident translator Aohige, in chapter 700, Akainu is saying that he ALREADY SENT Fujitora to Dress Rosa, and that the situation should be handled in one day.
Why doesn't he reflect Akainu's Absolute Justice?
How did he get to Dressrosa so fast?
Well, I'm not saying I think he is for sure the new Admiral, I'm kind of on the border of he is and he isn't. He might not have as much reputation as Kizaru has because if he is the new admiral, he is new. We haven't seen much of him yet, so I think it's too early to call if he is one or if he isn't.
@Formation:
All of the SHs won't fight the Gorosei Here are the people who I think will fight Gorosei… Shogun of Wano...
I'm not necessarily trying to say you're wrong with your guess here, Y, but I'm curious.
What exactly makes you think that Mihawk will fight one of the Gorosei?
@Formation:
Who do you think will fight the Gorosei?
How about nobody?
It ain't really necessary for them to be some powerhouses or even fighters if you ask me.
@Formation:
Who do you think will fight the Gorosei?
Definitely not Coby, Enel and this Shogun of Wano you speak of.
@Panda:

Ahahaha,good one.
How about nobody?

Yeah, this could be the case. The collective thinking lately seems to have shifted from the Gorousei just being a political power to them fighting. I want to believe they'll fight, so I've kind of projected that onto my manga thoughts. One of them does carry a sword around he always polishes though, which has screwed with people's heads for ages.
@Formation:
Who do you think will fight the Gorosei?
I have no idea, but how do you assume Enel, Coby, and…the Shogun of Wano (?) will do so?
Fujitora means purple tiger
Except it doesn't. Is this ▉ the type of purple used to represent gravity?
@Panda:

Never said anything about Mihawk fighting Gorosei.. to be honest I don't see him being alive by then. @Sander:

They have authority over Kong and the Marines with scars. They know how to fight. @King:
Definitely not Coby, Enel and this Shogun of Wano you speak of.
Dragon is the only person guranteed to fight Gorosei, I was listing people who would fight them for best choice.
Zoro is still not as strong as an admiral…
So Law is?
EDIT: Damn, i keep being Ninja'd today :X
@Formation:

Any given government has authority over it's country's armed forces.Doesn't make it's members some seasoned warriors or anything.

He was making a joke about Mihawk being Shogun of Wano.
Can you expand upon why you think the Shogun of Wano and Enel will fight the Gorousei?
We don't know exactly when fujitora was appointed admiral. If it was the last couple of months then the public might not know him all that well, but if he was appointed within the last two years (as in directly after sakazuki became fleet admiral) then the public should definitely be able to recognize him if that samurai is indeed the new admiral. Regardless though, The Marines would definitely publish a story of the appointment of a new admiral so that way that the world knows they aren't short handed and they would of course have a picture of the guy published along with said story.

One of the Gorosei has a katana so the Shogun will fight him. Enel is on the moon.
@Ppl who quoted formation 4-4-2
He is the one claimed Zoro is weak, Mihawk isn't the strongest swordsman, Sentomaru has the best defense even Yonkou and Sengoku at his prime can't compared with, and others stuff
@Formation:

Right. He's on the moon, living it up with the Spaceys.
….Why would he go back and get involved with blue sea politics/fights?

No, no, with Enel he has a solid point. I assume you're familiar with the phrase 'Missing the forest for the trees'?
Well, Enel, as has been pointed out, is on the moon, and from there he can see pretty much the entire planet. More than anyone else, he is able to see the big picture. So to him, it's obvious that the Gorosei are in fact the ultimate evil that must be defeated, despite that perhaps not being so obvious to others. When faced like something like that, it's understandable to think that even someone like Enel would realize he has to step in and do something.
Except it doesn't. Is this ▉ the type of purple used to represent gravity?
I would like to know why you think Fuji refers to only that particular color.
From what I have seen, Fuji is more pinkish/purplish.
Jackermeister and 50 shades of purple.

"Fuji" doesn't translate to "purple".

What? I thought his joke was funny. Was the reaction you posted supposed to be Enel's when he saw the bigger picture and found out he has to zap some old men? Seriously though, I wish the whole world could get balloon rides to the moon with Enel's mustachio-laden men so they could see the bigger picture. World would be a better place.
what is absolut justice? we dont know for sure. BUT…
sending a bunch of guys into the depths of hell for trying to cheat him, only confirmed by someone stating the fact, is pretty much absolut justice.
he was judge jury and executioner on a whim.
There is no doubting that, but BB's fruit is more of "pulling in" rather than the downward force we seen from "Blind Guy"
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
You know what? He kind of does. :blink:
that would actually be pretty cool because of how much Oda is a fan of Dragonball :)
When I imagine Enel looking down on Earth from the moon,all I can see him saying is:
"God is in his heaven,all is good with ZA WARUDO"
I am really happy that the reason Momonosuke stayed on the ship was because his dad said so. Its just great seeing sime parenting in One piece and the fact that Momo seems to be a decent kid in that he listens to his dad without complaining

please say you are joking with this. this is pure theory. its nit based on anything oda has showed us

It's not because they were trying to cheat him, It's because they were gonna attack Luffy just because he said the truth.
eitehr way. absolut justice
he was judge jury and executioner
