pretty good feature i guess. it was boring enough just to make everyone got all their moves and coin slot (lv 26 iirc) in km1.
will it work for different region games? my km1 is australian and i might end up getting the european km2.

I doubt it, it will work like any other game.
What I assume is that you just transfer it directly once you load the game in both consoles.
Also, I love this feature but I hope I can transfer them from the American version to the Japanese. Either way, it's not going to stop me. The more I will play this game that means.

well, they say they will make all ps4 games playable in vita so that if you need to go out you can just transfer your game save (i presume) and continue playing using your vita in the bus or something.

I don't think that's how the PS4 feature works. I'm pretty sure they were talking about running off the PS4 console and simply streaming the video to a Vita terminal nearby (i.e. so you don't have to use the TV). Actually programming things to work natively on the Vita would be really hard and I'm sure tons of games would require massive changes to run natively. It would be like programming a PSP game into the code of every PS3 game, meaning tons of extra effort.

Marco is a waste of a character slot right now IMO. Much better characters they could give us.The fact that most of the cast from the first game ISN'T playable in this one is annoying.
I'm still going to get this game, but it really feels like Pirate Warriors 1.5 instead of a full sequel.

Ahh, like the enemies. Eh… Ideally all the characters will be playable at some point, but I think they should focus more on current chars (Supernovas, Marine officers, New World, etc.) than spending a lot of effort on henchmen from way back in the early story. I don't really care about Marco though.

Meh. I was hoping it wasn't true and they were gonna skip Marco the Pointless this time. I mean we got Eneru, surely there are more viable proper enemies to be put in? Or the ones who have a movset from part 1 like Magellan, Bon-Chan or Mr. 3
But at the end of the day they're targeting the popular characters. Perona is in too and she seems out of place. As is Garp. Could be worse I suppose. At least I can mix things up and use Marco as a punching bag aswell as Ace and Law
So if it's only the Pre-TS left I expect the next week or two to focus on the older arcs, see if we get any new bosses or areas.

While I'm fine with the overall roster, like always I have to scratch my head over some of the picks. I can't help but think they should have gone for Moriah, Lucci and Magellan over Perona, Garp and Marco. The only problem there is that there's no new girls I guess, which aside from her own popularity is why they chose Perona. But even then Marco and Perona aren't totally bad picks, just come off as bad when we're still missing so many main antagonists.
So I guess the next reveal should be Blackbeard, Mihawk, Jinbe and Hammok. Then the one or two more weeks before the game is out they'll show the pre-TS Strawhats and maybe some returning NPCs.

i can see marco being picked mainly to have more characters in that special mode where it was marines vs yonkou vs warlords and considering we only had whitebeard and ace for yonkou (and blackbeard i guess) this beefs their side a little. Still woulda prefered someone else

I don't really have a problem with it specially since the game follows an original story, Marco is a cool character, I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Kid, Bon-chan, Ivankov instead but I'm fine with Marco.

marco is nice but he is kind of a weird choice. there are other chars that are more reasonable to be chosen than him (bosses/mini bosses from km1). im surprised that he is playable this early. perona is weird too but i believe that she is chosen simply to increase the no of female chars. how about marco?

Surely they could have put Ivankov in there instead of Jozu and Vista for a boss? He could double up as a NPC in ID too lol. It's not as if there weren't already Luffy, Buggy, Croc, WB, Ace, Hancock and Mr. 3 there for bosses.
I do hope we get more bosses however. Although not sure who. If we can get Jozu and Vista how about Sengoku, Doflamingo. Coby, Momonga, Tashigi or Hina.
I just hope I can re-create being able to Akainu Punch Ace over and over again.

Pretty much this.
Moriah, for example, doesn't have much of a fanbase over there, being overshadowed (pun not-intended) by goth loli Perona, thus, doesn't get a playable spot.

I really like how Kuma can throw his own pain at his enemies.

Luffy: Pretty much the same with some new moves thrown in it. UFO looks super fun.
Nami: Seems like they slightly improved her moveset. She may not be as terrible to play as now.
Chopper: Now that's what I'm talking about. His new moveset looks 10x better than the old one.
Kuma: My question is, does extracting his own pain restore some of his health?

It's not mindless hate against Marco it's just that there are characters that did much more or are more important than him at this stage. Some of them are even in the first game with partial movesets, like Mr. 2, Lucci or Magellan.
If it was my choice I'd only put Marco playable in the third of forth game after having a stronger base roster. Oh well, since the game's story mode is a "what if" and the dude has a freaking Phoenix Zoan I guess I can live with it.New Gameplay for Luffy, Nami, Chopper and Kuma:

My favorite times playing the first game was when the screen really filled up with enemies but since most areas where so small it could be troublesome sometimes.
From the looks of it this game fixed that issue. -

Oh yeah, Chopper is looking WAAAAY better than the last game. It made me sad when one of my favorite characters was so…hard to play as. This is better because Chopper doesn't need his rumble balls (cept for Monster) to change into his better forms, so that opens up the combo possibilities.
Also: Nami cleaned the place up with that tornado...awesome. Kuma looks like he'll be a lot of fun!

One thing. Does this mean that we won't control Monster Chopper for a few seconds like in the first game? That was one of my favourite things in the previous game.

The "mode" update on the website is interesting. It basically points out that with the new fictional storyline, they are free to make it more "Musou" like and tactical. In other words, your own forces might betray you and third parties such as other pirate crews or zombie armies can barge in and attack. You can see some screenshots where the map includes red blue and yellow forces.

Personally I'd LOVE to see a Empires Mode within Kaizouku Musou. Maybe once we have a decent sized roster, get to create your own pirate crew then take over the Grand Line or something. And your Pirate Creation mode too.

I think the one real shame is that this will come out before Kinemon is fully revealed in the anime…so we'll definitely have to wait for the next one for him...poo...
It's also nice that we've got the 1st game's roster in there. Excited for all the new characters.
