Things That You Would NOT Like to See in the Manga

@nodensuke:
He blindly walked into the war and left with absolutely no damage done to him.
What about the part where he threw a bomb at Mihawk, then Mihawk deflected it back at him with his sword and it blew up in his face? Or was that anime only?
Anyway, it's pretty much confirmed he's a Shichibukai seeing as the One Piece Ten event revealed that his bounty was retracted.

That was the single greatest Buggy moment in all of One Piece, how could I add that?! It was basically self inflicted so I didn't count it.
! Greatest moment aside from this, of course..

@nodensuke:
I don't even think it's about the laughs to be honest…It's more about the World Government seeing/mistaking him as a huge threat because he was on the Pirate King's crew.
He blindly walked into the war and left with absolutely no damage done to him. He was diced up by Mihawk and took no damage, saved both Luffy and Jinbe from Sakazuki and was the reason they escaped…
If for some reason he's not one of the new Shichibukai it's because he declined them, I doubt he would decline though..He went out of his way to avoid drawing attention to himself so that info didn't get out and now that it is he's going to be seem as a major threat because of it..
Accepting the offer would be the smartest choice, he'd be feared by many pirates just for having the title, and wouldn't have the navy after him at all, giving him the opportunity to search for Captain John's treasure in peace.
It is a part of the gag Oda's set up for him, but I think it's also quite a brilliant idea.
No. Whitebeard and Marco instantly recognized him as a weakling, Marco even mocking the idiot prisoners that believe in Buggy. Mihawk told Zoro he should have known the level between them is astronomical before he even pulled out his swords. In other words for strong characters (like Admirals and VAs), they should instantly know that Buggy is a weakling without having to beat him down to find out. Not leaving with any damage in that war isn't exactly the most impressive feat if you don't bother to fight any strong characters and you have your idiotic crew following you. From the looks of it, only Akainu, Whitebeard and Blackbeard went all out from the strong characters, a war basically happened and only 3-4 strong characters died/completely defeated. Not being cut by Mihawk would have been another story if he wanted to kill him and infuse his sword with a little haki, it's pretty funny that you even mention this scenario as something impressive considering Buggy's DF? I agree that it was a very important moment when Buggy saved those two, but that doesn't make someone strong.
In other words any of the VAs or Admirals should have noticed easily that Buggy is a weakling based on what we know, and because they didn't the only explanation is a funny gag from Oda. It's likely he is one now, and yeah looking at his personality you would think he would take teh request as well. For me though, I just want Buggy to stay what he is, a comedic clown but I don't want him to take a potential new character's place for the Shichibukai. I can definitely see Buggy turning from a funny character to an incredibly annoying one because of this gag where everyone is oblivious specifically only to Buggy is going to be overdone to death. Clearly the majority disagree, I just think it's a bad direction.

I never really implied anything about stregnth, I said he's a threat to the World Government - which he most certainly is. It hasn't been confirmed yet but for all they know he went to Raftel and knows what "One Piece" actually is, if you don't consider that a threat to the government I don't know what is.. Also, I mentioned the part about him being sliced up because no one really knew his ability, which we learned during Impel Down. Haki or no haki that's still quite the ability to have.
Adding onto that, you're dismissing the fact that those followers who swore allegiance to him weren't just fodder they ranged from the first to fourth level of the prison, and that itself is a threat to the World Government. Marco and Whitebeard may have immediately recognized him as a weakling but he also said that it was the people he had following him that would be the main concern, and the navy/government would see it the exact same way. They all have bounties on their heads..
He's also friends with Shanks.
If you're annoyed by the gag that's all fine, but you can't just dismiss the fact that there are plenty of solid reasons to back up why he would be offered the position and be seen as a threat. Everyone important knows he's a weakling, but to those who don't having the title is very useful for both him and the government.

THe thread is about what you don't want to to happen. Not what won't happen. So he has all the right to post it on this thread.

Just a correction, first to fith level. Buggy has multiple men with 100 million berry bounties, all they need to do is fight for him.

Really? I didn't think they gathered any level 5 prisoners..thanks for the correction though, I'm gonna have to re-read that part!

By that standard, I do agree. Being a friend of a Yonko, and that he's been at Raftel.
However I don't see a Shichibukai getting a position because of knowledge and friends but because of their own power level (which leaves the only argument of having a strong crew). Someone you can call upon, thus the whole 3 powers that control the world. Otherwise someone like Nico Robin would have been offered the position far before Buggy ever would or Luffy met her. To me its about power, if you are needed to take someone out, you need to be strong enough yourself. Part of the reason they wanted to kill Moria. Going by what I said in the previous post where the strong can easily identify the weak, this would never happen. So yes I do think this is more of gag joke and a pretty poor one (overdone). I am assuming Oda must really love the character to do such a thing (making him Shichibukai) because it's pretty unlikable move from my perspective.

Buggy as Shichibukai.
I'd amend this slightly, to read Buggy, in all forms.
I seriously do not like the guy in the least.

Anyway, it's pretty much confirmed he's a Shichibukai seeing as the One Piece Ten event revealed that his bounty was retracted.
In my opinion that's why he received the letter, we have assume that Is an invitation for Shishibukai because of the bat but the bat must be the messenger of the WG and why I said that's the reason because Mihawk cut the hell out of Buggy and he just attached like nothing happen for a scientist that's intriguing (you know where am going).
Vegapunk is analyzing DFs and he have to analyze them one by one, If he truly wants to make strong soldiers he have to analyze strong DFs, he got Kizaru (beams), lets say he got Buggy (anti-cutting) we know that there's a lot of swords in the OP word but that's just my thoughts.
What Do you think?

16 characters of what?

16 characters of what?
At the One Piece Ten event, Buggy's bounty was confirmed to be "frozen" like the other Shichibukai. Which pretty much confirms he is one too.

Thanks.(I guess this is kinda off-topic) The only picture I've been able to find is from One Piece Art Exhibit in Osaka.
!
Buggy's bounty seems to the same mark as Jinbe and Crocodile, which I assume means the bounty is outdated. -
Interestingly, Kuro's poster doesn't have any kind of stamp certifying that he's been captured and killed…

He's an active pirate again. That much is obvious.
