Man… i'm surprised that wasn't a personal foul. When they replayed it looked like that Ridley led the head contact... but I don't know.
-
And another td for Ravens!!!!!
-
I happy, REALLY HAPPY… but
Game ain't over yet. Defense keep it UP!!! Play with your hearts guys!! PLAY PLAY PLAY
-
I was originally gonna mope about this game all like "aw shit Brady gonna dominate"
7-3: Ravens might pull through for the win
7-13: Guess I spoke too soon
14-13: Ooooh this lookin dangerous
21-13: Joe Flacco, my man
28-13: YEAH MUTHAFYUKA RAVENS GOIN SUPERBOWLIN -
Even if I put the Redskins first (or technically second) I'm glad to see Lewis and The Ravens going back to the Superbowl. I'm hoping they can bring the Lombardi back to Maryland.
Plus that'd make it a storybook final season for one of the all-time greats.
-
INTERCEPTION!!!!!! RAVEN TO THE SUPER BOWL BABY!!!!!!
like a boss
-
-
When the poll opened up, I voted the Ravens. Glad to see history is adapting to my predictions!
Harbowl here we come.

NO WEAPON!! NO WEAPON!

As much as I'm rooting for Ray to get another ring…I dont see the Ravens winning.

It's definitely gonna be a hard game. Ravens are used to playing pocket QB's. 49ers defense isn't to be taken lightly either.

I don't know if Brady and Belichick will ever win at this point.

Not unless they start cheating again.

Heh heh, funny, cause "Spygate" was legal until 2006, after they already won their 3 rings, so technically, they only broke the rules/cheated during the 06 season. But Perception vs Reality will always negate that .

No, it was always illegal, the NFL just always assumed they didn't have to explicitly state that it was wrong. Just like how they shouldn't have had to explain why bounties are a no-no.

If that's the case, then whatever, call every team who won cheaters in the past.

First off, it's a rule that's been in effect since the 60s. Second, Yeah, Jimmie Johnson did it (and, in my book his wins have an * next to them as well), and there have been others, but does that make it okay? Third, Bellicheck was a dumbass for trying to do it against his former DC who knew all about it, so, thusly, they deserved to get busted and have an example made of themselves.
It's like saying, oh, so many people have used steroids in baseball, so their all cheaters, but they got busted after the fact, so what they got still counts. Nope. They get stripped. Even Lance Armstrong got stripped. And that was in Cycling. Cycling! Cheating is cheating.
Also, I'm sure a lot of this vitriol would dissipate if they could manage to win even one more Superbowl, but they've failed every year since, even making it back to the big one twice.

LOL the Pats will never live this Spygate thing down. Sucks for the fans, it's like they cant even celebrate in peace
-
First off that gif is amazing. Second, I have no sympathy for the fans. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000129704/article/torrey-smith-pats-fans-taunted-me-over-dead-brother
Keep it classy Pats fans.
-
To be fair, as a Ravens fan I would hate to be judged and compared to the majority of my fellow fans, most of whom are ignorant, arogant and downright rude. So yes, I do feel somewhat sorry for Pats fans, only because I know that some of them have to be decent people.

I agree; however, I am glad that the Pats fans were called out on this one.
I am a frequent visitor of Patsfans.com, a thread for Pats fans to discuss nfl related topics. During the whole of last week I've seen them talk about how trashy Raven's fans were using blanket statements to include all of us fans. They spoke so highly of the Pats Nation that I was happy when they finally saw the malicious things that people within their own fan base are capable of.
As you said, all fans have they're bad apples

That GoDaddy one…that was...uncomfortable.

Nice sack for the Ravens!
-
Nice defensive stand. I have a feeling the Ravens want to prove that D still wins championships.
-
Ray Lewis man… come on son you got to execute. Ray missed like two core tackles. C'mon Ray!

Lol. You can't stop the read option. That's the point. You can only hope to contain it by doing your best not to get fooled.

Almost worked. Great Defensive position. GREAT call. Minimal risk, big reward. That's the kind of call that wins championships. Think about what you'd be saying if it had worked. Same as the Saints second half opening onside kickoff a few years ago.

That's true man, but I'm just worried about our D. SUre this drive was great, but Ray's been looking a lil slow and Reed's knee is fucked up. I'm just hoping he stays in the game. I just want to rack up on points! 49ers always pull strong in the 2nd half. Can't take any chances at this moment
