I'm planning on making a BMO out of a small cardboard box. Currently stuck on what to put on the list of materials for the arms. I guess a good browse through Walmart's craft section would help. I have an idea what I can do for the buttons, but it depends whether or not I can take apart a Mad Catz GC controller or a N64 controller. I figured I use the junk for something.

I closed the door on my fingers today… but even then it's still not as bad as closing them on a car. Saying a couple of "mother fuckers" aloud should help ease the pain.

Got a call by the company to come down and sign the contract so I can start working on Monday. Unemployment here I come!

In other news, I got three fillings today and I need to get another two tomorrow which means I'll need to do a little balancing act with my time. I also have a timebomb of a tooth which I may or may not need to do a root canal on depending on if the dentist managed to put in the filling in time.

As for me, currently on night shift at the hospital. Had very little sleep before i came on…and it was insanely busy when i started. Feel a bit fatigued though won't be too long till i'm finished! =D Happy days! >//<

Late last night, my family and I were returning from a restaurant. On our way back to the neighborhood, on the lane right besides ours, we witnessed a car chase. The escapee zoomed right past us and the pursuer was a cop who wasn't trailing far behind.

The escapee had to had been new to this area, because he wasn't aware of the ditch that he would meet at the end of the road. Needless to say… that was the end for him. He couldn't even have hopes of reversing, because the cop car had parked right behind his vehicle.

I've taken my son to his field trip to a place called Little Gym. Its a place where there are two rooms, one is a large room with a large mat in the middle and some padded ramps. The other room is where the parents sit and watch the kids play through these windows in between the rooms.

It feels like I'm watching a wildlife preserve…

It can take just a single person's actions (or lack thereof) to plummet you into a spiral of frustration and despair, but then again, all it takes to get you out of there is a single hug from someone who cares.
I'm so glad to have a friend like her. She cares about my feelings despite being in a KINDA similar situation herself and crying herself to sleep every other day because of it. (Aren't we a great match XD)

That said, at first my day was okay, then horribly awful, then okay again, then great. It ended on a high note, and that's all that matters.
Also, we're going to our favorite bar again tomorrow night, soooo … yay! I have to keep it together though, I can't drink as much as last time. I have to function on Sunday (exams and whatnot that need my full attention). In fact, we all have to. … so, yeah, we're all gonna end up completely wasted on Sunday anyway; I can tell.

It was all pretty swell. I have been looking for a part-time job recently since I'm planning two different trips abroad this year, like some of you probably already know, but so far I've been pretty lazy and haven't actively hunted for any extra income. My Mom, however, chanced upon a job advertisement on the employment agency's website earlier this week and showed it to me, and I figured it would be the perfect opportunity. The National Archives want a part-time (the job was especially advertised for students) hall attendant that would work for 15 hours a week, 3 hours a day, with a reasonably good salary (15e an hour/~900e a month).

So I filled in an online application form, sent it in, and phoned the HR consultant responsible for sorting them out a day later on Wednesday. And to my surprise she wanted to see me right away, so I went there on Thursday morning (real fast, I know) and had a great interview with her. She then phoned the older man in charge of the actual hiring process at the National Archives and got me another interview with him for Friday morning - two days after I had first contacted her. Now I've been to two different interviews, and even though the latter one didn't go as well as the first one due to the fact that the Archives official was an older, very matter-of-fact person and thus harder to make contact with, they both told me I seem perfectly suitable for the task. They're interviewing someone else on Monday and choosing between the two of us sometime next week.

All in all, it's pretty big for me personally. I don't dare to hope for anything, though. Might still jinx it.
