Besides that, the pace of the New World is remarkable compared to Paradise, given the Straw Hats now have a feud with Big Mom, Doflamingo and Kaidou.

I have been getting that vibe as well, Luffy has not even really broken a sweat since timeskip and neither has Zolo really, well except for Fishman fight in FI arc but that was underwater so Luffy had a clear disadvantage from the start.

From Sanji's fight against Vergo he seemed to be holding his own and he was already injured, I think that Luffy and Zolo may be low Admiral level (say Kizaru level perhaps - epic fight of course). I get the feeling that Zolo or Luffy could take any of the vice admirals including Smoker without too much difficulty, it is of course only my opinion.

As we have now had the usual end of arc party I am not sure whether they will meet DD or not, I think it would be suicide for DD to engage them all in combat as he can only control so many at a time, if it was DD one on one with luffy without distractions and noone else for DD to make puppets out of (I am thinking that maybe Luffy's Kings Haki will make him immune to outside control) I think DD would fall.

Law didn't break Kinemon–Brook dropped Kinemon and, like with Luffy when he was fighting Caeser, the poison ash just cracked and fell off.

That translation was alot better than the mangapanda one. It didn't make any sense with his statement on Shanks.

Also, its pretty obvious at some stage Law is going to screw Luffy over big time. That'll be an interesting moment when it happens. Luffy is too trusting for his own good.

here it seems like it's literally broke in pieces,with the floor of the ship under him,if it was just the rock shell that was broken,shoudn't we been able to see the body of kinemon under that,instead of what seems to be he ship?

maybe at mangareader they did something with the scans?

I have a feeling that Law won't betray Luffy, or, if he does, he'll feel really guilty about it. Law has made it very apparent that he doesn't like being ordered around, and yet at the end of the chapter it seems like Law is getting used to Luffy taking control of things, going so far as to question who really is using who. And he doesn't even mind by now, he's just going along with it. He seems to have lightening up a little, if that smirk/smile at the end of the chapter is anything to go by too.

I'm pretty sure that Oda is just using contrast and shading to give the impression that Kinemon was broken. Plus mangapanda tends to have the least clear/clean scans. They always come out looking incredibly blurry.

I did think so also after first seeing it, but if you look closer, you will see that he's still in one piece and in the cracks you see the stripes of his kimono

This is so much time for Doflamingo to arrive he has no business not crashing this party and bringing slaughter if he somehow 'just misses' them i call the worlds biggest bullshit. I thought the chapter would be juicier maybe Law telling more of the plan, and i don't count saying it's Kaidou as more of the plan, just referencing another power we don't know. I didn't join in on the crack theory fun during the break so here's the late admission: Doflamingo has already arrived but seeing as he cant resist a party he decided to let his hair down and chill. Strawhats find him and kidnap his drunk ass, cue reverse enies lobby arc starring Doflamingo as Damsel in Distress.

Well, the translation seemed especially atrocious this time around.
Always enjoy these fun party chapters! The moments with Nami and Kinemon and Momo were nice, kind of throwback to Jinbei's words, "eating is living".
The end with Luffy is a nice curve ball. Enjoyed the new outfits and Law's reactions, too.

So, there's still Mone and Vergo to deal with, Doflamingo coming and the mysterious person from last chapter. In this arc, I guess the Yeti Cool Brothers and all the pertified marines and centaurs, I guess.
Brownbeard was captured, the kids entrusted to the marines and the yonkou revealed that Law wants to go after. Lots of threads tied here, as far as Punk Hazard goes.

This is actually pretty accurate.
Thanks for clearing their mistakes for us CCC and kaze1028 for posting Aohige's take on this.

Also, now things make more sense and this is a great chapter. I wonder why Law wants to defeat Kaidou and we'll get this motive only later. But Luffy saying he'll take all them out is just what we would expect from him.

Because it's okay for them to mislead people just because they are fast… Even when MS was fast they didn't do horrible translations as Mangapanda. And it's not only the ones like One Piece, Naruto and Bleach that get poor translation, it's everything that Mangapanda translates.

Yeah, I remember they had a nice one then suddenly a mediocre one because the quality of the translations wasn't stable. But nothing as bad as the ones of Mangapanda, that's for sure.

we havn't seen that any of shanks his crew has a devi fruit. so the link to paramecia i dont see. And big mom has somebody with a (turtle) zoan in the crew.

I think it makes more sense that only WB, BM and Kaidou rely on devil fruits. Who on Shanks' crew has a fruit? I'd say his crew is strictly haki based.

Firstly, awesome chapter! The Emperor Law was targetting was always between Big Mom and Kaidou for me. Great to see that Law has chosen to target Kaidou. Now i am wondering what "STRATEGY" he has to take down an emperor. Probably one let down of this chapter to the fans might be the lack of revelation of this "Mysterious Man " who is coming to PH. Wonder what would happen if that "MYSTERIOUS MAN" and Doflamingo met. ( I remember that the troll guy from yesterday was telling something about Monkey d dragon being the mysterious man)

Actually… It makes sense. Remember Kaidou building that circus tent-like structure on his island, that, is bigger than the mountains themselves? He's probably like a circus ring leader. Kaidou of the 100 Beasts; circus have beasts (as well as zoos).

In his translation, Aohige used the word "Kaidou of Hundred Beasts" with no king. The one with "king" was just a comment of his to someone else's remark.

Ah sorry, didn't read carefully enough.

the raw says 百獣 which is pretty much as it was translated. When I throw it into my dictionary it spits out also the term "百獣の王" which seems to be pretty much the thing aohige explained so I guess that was the relation.

It really depends when he had that title, to be honest. If he recently acquired it, then yeah, mostly Dofla Smiles (because I can see the circus theme working, because he's building a giant circus tent on one of his favorite islands). If before CC ended up on Punk Hazard, then, probably not.

Now that you mentioned dictionary, I looked up myself and got "all kinds of animals". It's nice to know that the kanji "hundred" doesn't necessarily mean an exact number. And yes, the word 百獣 usually comes up with 百獣の王 which means "king of beasts".

It is in said in the story that Caesar gave to a Yonkou the SAD so he created 100 zoan artificial soldiers. So the weird shape-shifting fruit for Kaidou….nop xD

He's right, on the chapter when Drake visits the island where Caribou is right now, the "tent" was begin built. After two years it's finished. Though it looks more like a stripped mountain, but whatever.
