I predict we'll get a scan of the Fishman Island stage in the next issue of Jump in a few days
One Piece: Kaizoku Musou 2 (PS3 and PSVita)

-
If they add in the Morgan arc, Kuro arc, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, Davy Back Fight, Thriller Bark, and Fishman Island along with Skypiea, it'll be a pretty big difference since that's like eight addition arcs on top of the others from the first game.
But try not to get your hopes up for Punk Hazard. It has a near-zero percent chance of being in the game.
Oh well then that will make a bigger difference… but I guess now that I think about it, PH isn''t even finished in the manga yet, so it'll take another year to finish in the anime... by that time the game will be out, so there's really no chance of that happening.. I guess I was blinded by all this excitement :p

so kuma is playable too _____
and who the hell are that green men? -
I think those are zombies.
-
style actions? zoros an attacker type something to do with busoshouku haki , eneru is a technical type with something to do with kenbunshouku haki he's also fighting new enemies i think and luffy obviously has haoshouku haki , zombies and thriller bark confirmed
-
Did not expect Kuma to be playable but that's awesome!

thats not ryuma although i do think he's in it

i took a closer look and you are right , he is a skypiean.
-
they don't seem zombies to me. their clothes are too intact and the original ones shouldn't be all yellow
-
New scan from Weekly Shonen Jump #08.
http://www.saiyanisland.com/2013/01/one-piece-pirate-warriors-2-new-scan-kuma-confirmed/
No respect for their source… You should use more watermarks. -
Kuma was my favorite character in Unlimited Cruise because he was so much fun to use. Hype level got up!
-
I think those are zombies.
HAPPY FUCKING DAYS… If they are that is, I was worried about not seeing anything Thriller Bark yet
-
thats not thriller bark… those look like people not zombies that hes fighting. unless there were non Straw Hat humans i forgot about? its been a while since i seen that arc
-
there was but they wern't enemies. If it's not thriller bark then what's your alternative? Considering kuma's there and he's in that arc it most likely is
-
Humans w/o shoes with intact T-shirts and pants… where we seen them before?
-

Yeah, he's fighting people, green people called zombies. (plus they're a new character model)
Then you have dark setting, trees in the background and castle looking walls, do you recall any other location we've seen that fits the description? And Thriller Bark was basicly the first time Kuma did anything. (the shichibukai meeting doesn't matter in this case)There's only one normal looking human in the scan and since he's not being affected by the beam Kuma is shooting right in front of him he's probably an ally, a normal pirate from Lola's crew or anyother crew that was stuck in Thriller Bark.
In any case, the next scan, probably from V-Jump next week should show a bit more of the stage like bosses and I'll guess Moria being playable too. I think every Shichibukai will be playable in this game (except DoFlaming since we're not sure about his powers yet). -

Upon closer inspection, those green guys are most likely zombies.
Terrible looking zombies, but zombies, nonetheless.
-
New scan from Weekly Shonen Jump #08.
AAAAAAAh, reminds me of the scan that revealed that Kuma was present in Unlimited Cruise 2.
-
The caption text specifically mentions fighting zombies in Thriller Bark, so that's confirmed.
So far, so good! I expect they'll also announce Fishman Island soon, and aside from that any other new settings/arcs are just gravy.
-
Those must be the worst zombies I have ever laid eyes on. They look nothing like the zombies in Thriller Bark from the series from what it seems. Unless Kuma's fighting other pirates, but still wtf? xD
-
As if the fodder guys in the first game were any good.
C'mon, the fishmen in the Arlong Park stage looked like shit and the random pirates through out the game were not that much better.
The marines were the only passable models in my opinion and even then those fat-bottom captains looked weird. The developers just don't care about how the fodder looks, they only care about the playable characters and bosses.
-
2 new playable characters so excited…
-
I can't make out the 2 pictures in the bottom right, if anyone else can. Also what's written in that corner? Kuma is a solid add.

One is another Kuma screendshot and one is another Zoro screenshot. If i remember right.
-
Nami is now on the official site.
-
OOOOOOO NAMI!! Looking forward to robin more though just hope the strongest swordsman is in the game.
-
hopefully they will add new screenshots for her later in the site.
-
so general franky and a town level and a forest. The forest reminded me of the one by usopps village and the fountain in the town is overflowing so maybe rain meaning lougetown? I'm not sure with the latter because of the fishmen
-
Enel and Zoro are looking beastly.
I assume that General Franky is going to be Franky's second special attack.
-
I'd love to see General Franky and Monster Chopper as more playable characters. But I guess they'll be limited as always.
Looks like Fishman Island got confirmed there too
-
Wow, great info in that V-Jump scan. All three types of Haki will be represented in the game, and filling a meter will allow you to deploy Haki using R1.
Observation: makes you move faster. I'm guessing maybe it will slow down the enemies as well? it's supposed to simulate being "all-seeing" of course, which doesn't mean much in normal musou play, so that's how they'll compensate I guess.
Armament: raises attack and defense. pretty self-explanatory.
Conquerer: instant area KO. it mentions picking out individual guys too, not sure how hands-on that will be, have to wait until it comes out.
-
If it's implemented well it'll be fun. But isn't that the button for guarding/countering?
Hope they do others like that however. Like building up a meter, filling it gives Robin the ability to sprout more clones than normal. Or building up a meter gives you more time as Monster Chopper/General Franky.
-
I hope having the general doesn't take anything away from frankys moveset
-
I'm thinking it'll probably work like the last game for example when Luffy would go gear second, or sanji Diable Jamble. The move set will change for a period of time but it'll still be similar to the original character.

I don't think there was a defense button. R1 and R2 were techniques, wich for some characters was a counter-atack move. It doesn't make much of a difference buttom-maping wise.
But I think we can change the type of haki for some characters. Luffy was running around with a red aura in the demo video we got from JUMP Festa. Also, taken from Siliconera:
Some characters like Nami don’t have Haki. They have Style Actions and there are two kinds of those in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2. Technical actions let you dodge an attack at the last minute. Attacker actions give characters something like Super Armor. Franky is an attacker style character while Robin and Nami are technical characters.

In that third scan from v-jump showing all the characters, I'm very curious about the top picture with the fountaon. It lools very shabondy like (could perhaps be fishman island) because the enemies have pink skin and fins on thier arms and a tenryubito slave crest on their chests. Could it be the auction house on shabondy? Fisher tiger level perhaps?
-
I really like the fact that Haki has its own meter now. Plus, the info on the Style Actions has my curiosity.
I hope we get some more gameplay footage of how the actions will work in-game.
-
Looks like it's coming out in North America:

No surprises on it still being PSN only.
But I had a feeling that NA would get the sequel eventually. This is good news.
-
PSN only? no big deal since we finally are getting the games since we got skipped during the Cruise series and the handhelds
is it going to be subbed like the first game? -

I'm a bit sad that there's no announcement for a PSVITA release, but still happy nonetheless. Looking forward to it. :P
