Is there something wrong with me.
Not at all.
I read it that way as well…

There's something wrong with both of you.
Nice, though.
Now I am going to imagine you working with the cast of Armageddon.

…AND I DON'T WANNA MISS A THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
[/power ballad mode ; cries epic tears]
Walked out the street with my sis today to go eat and pick up some groceries. The real reason behind the walk was to leave the house and just talk while walking. I had quite a bit on my mind(like usual), and I wasn't sure if I was overeating or anything. Apparently I wasn't really alone.
I talked about what it was like being an artist, since my sis in an artist herself and it was a sensitive issue that I never really tried sharing with anyone due to how unrelatable it was. I thought about what it would be like be known as this tall African American guy that likes drawing stuff like cute pink rabbits eating pies, or cutesy stuff in general. I thought that was out of the norm, or just weird. Weird to the point people would look at and judge me before the art itself(like they would rather a pasty girl instead of me). I mean, I had a mentor that did ask about that. Not in a weird way as he accepted me, but it felt strange that it was "a thing" that I am going to eventually accept if I'm willing to not change for anyone.
So yeah. Sis was even pondering whether or not I was serious about the remarks I made when I said that I wished I were born a girl. I was mostly half joking, but I guess being a dude that grew up in an all female household without a single father figure, great male role-models or great rl male friends… Okay, maybe that's the kind of thing I should not joke about. Hahah!
Anyway, it was fun way to spend most of the day. Just unloading the mind, and carrying all those heavy groceries.
Man… Who the fuck is judging you for drawing what you want to draw? Why does how you look have anything to do with it?
If people really are judging you on just that alone, their opinions aren't really worth much to begin with. No disrespect to your mentor.
Hiroy, you are one of the most talented artists that I have had the pleasure to know, hell I'm willing to pay for it!
It doesn't matter what people say about you. I can tell you how many times I've had my own family poke fun at me for liking MLP, but it doesn't bother me much. Peoples opinions aren't something to concern you too much, especially if they have nothing nice to say.
Just know you got friends who are willing to support you no matter what~

Well, he was an old dude. Probably in his late forties and most likely grew up in a different time. He was mostly joking around since it as all kinds of new to him(he was probably nervous too since I bought several of his books, which did have characters that one could mentally see as stereotypical, despite it not being the case at all.) Still love the guy though. He didn't hold anything against me, so I admired his curiosity more than anything.
As for why? It's mostly a personal problem that is all in my head. If it is indeed '"a thing", then I'm going to accept and be proud of it. Of course, this is all words here. But it's something I thought about incase I was placed in the position to be upset or offended. I can't let that possibility drag me down.

Heheh. I had a few neighboring acquaintances that poked fun at me for liking Powerpuff Girls. I thought I was on another planet or something, so I wrote them off as aliens planning world domination(I didn't, but it's funny thinking of them now).
But thanks.
Powerpuff Girls was awesome, though.
You can't even say it's girly because I saw BUBBLES throw a monster horn through a monster's head and it come out the back of his head! That's even more intense than some adult shows.

It was also the first TV cartoon I seen with animated blood. These were during the days where I thought that was a big revolutionary deal too.
I remember loving PPG because of all the action.
Aside from tom & jerry, it was one of the first shows i watched with consistent 'violence' in it.
They really fit in as much as they could in those beating scenes.
Teeth flying, brains exposed (mostly mojo jojo), black eyes, etc.
powerpuff girls are awesome
they're cute little girls that beat the crap out of monsters and villains
and they look adorable while they do it
awesome
the most violent scene in PPG was when Mojo Jojo killed a giant robot by thwacking it on the head with a loaf of bread
I loved it
PPG! I was one of the few people who liked Blossum the most out of the three.
(A lot of folks were on the Buttercup wagon)
"Him"! Now that's a trippy ass character.
my favorite episode was the first time the rowdyruff boys showed up
it always amused me that the girls defeated/killed them by kissing their cheek and not punching them
This is me during this sorry-ass piece of shit Laker game
what more can be said? fuck this league. fuck you david stern.
Turns out rum and coke is indeed better when Mexican Coke is used. <333
^I could've told you that. That's the only way I've had it, actually.
Ive heard columbian coke was the best back in the 70s ^^
But as an unknowing guy, wheres the difference? I thought coke is the same, all around the world.
I really envy america for its softdrinks and junkfood. Here in austria its damn hard to get some mountain dew or dr pepper :/
it's the sugar that makes the difference.

Him is one of the scariest villains in any show ever. Animated or not.

On another note, we ended up watching Poirot (idk if I said it right) at the dads and I was like ':U I wish to write dis shizam' and yeah. my mind had one of those 'epiphanyyyy~ though it was obvious you dumbfuck! SHAME BE ON YOU' moments and yeah.
I'll probably have one of those 'blergh' moments, forget, and just derp forever.
But yeessss… someone needs to write an AP Forums inspired crime story...

Knowing everyone here, it'll happen within the hour. Hopefully.
I went to sleep at 10pm so now I'm awake at 4am! \o/ Fotunately, thanks to timezones, I have people to talk to.~
I'm feeling incredible in a strange way, going abroad for two weeks, plus my experiences in seeing North Cyprus and Athens, god, my immense knowledge is great.
But in plugging it into real life experience, I feel like everything truly starts to come together.
I feel the coolest and most confident I ever had ever.
And this is just a preview of the life I could have.
One problem.
My loved one is no sharing such happiness right now, and that's my most important current quest, to get her to my level, as we are one.
did some pokemon battling, gave myself a proper black ops 2 emblem, and confirmed my place in some upcoming writing courses.
also, i'm still catching up with KHR.
currently on chapter 73 and i can see the gag-manga-to-battle-manga shift is definitely kicking in.
i wonder when it's supposed to start going downhill though, because i like the action scenes so far.

I hate to drown out front page posts, so sorry MDL for posting like a minute after you, but holy hell what is up? Everything is working out. I thought for sure I was fired because my schedule was completely clear for next week and I WAS a seasonal hire, AND I saw a girl named "Autumn" replace my spot in the line-up at work. I'd easily say it was an 80% chance with all the circumstances… but nope. It was all a scheduling mistake. Duuuude. Yes!
Anyway... Yes, Him is creepy for a multitude of reasons (one being a child is not going to be able to process his gender fluidity very well, both in voice and in appearance. I remember as a child not being sure what to make of Him at all. This is, of course, not saying gender fluidity is creepy. I rather admire it.)
And congrats MK, that sounds pretty awesome.
Also I'm really happy with the way I'm starting 2013. I'm a person who likes to do a lot of stuff, so I'd be kinda OCD about it and make entire Excel documents keeping track of certain things, like how clean my car is, how I can improve my room to be a cooler place to hang out, guitar playing progress, etc. It kind of worked but I guess I'm the sort of person who needs to write stuff down like that (tasks) for it to really have finality to it. I've been keeping up with all my life-improving duties much more with just a little journal I write in everyday about what I did.
I almost ran over a fox today.
Surprisingly enough, I actually did what I was supposed to do: I turned off the long distance light, honked, and (moderately) stepped on the brakes. I did not steer away (I was sure that'd be the first thing my instinct would make me do).
And, because I handled the situation so commendably well, the fox gave me an approving nod and stepped aside.
this is why i hate itunes…
all i wanted to do was put some more tracks on my ipod.
i dragged about 38 songs over, so far so good, but then i looked at my ipod to see if the files were there.
turns out itunes decided to wipe out all of my music for some reason, leaving me with ONLY the songs i'd dragged over.
over 2500 songs, gone in an instant. without me telling it to do so.
now i've got to painstakingly sort through 30+ GB of albums all over again...
i told my friend why i never accept updates for itunes and crap, because shit like this happens. but nooo...
because his new phone is only compatible with the latest itunes, i had no choice but to update it. i miss the old one so much.
why does itunes syncing and updating translate to "we're gonna delete all your shit for no reason"?
it's as absurd as having your documents folder deleted everytime your fucking computer updates itself. ¬_¬

cool, it's not like you would put your foot down and hammered that thing, reversed over it, rolled in the entrails and drove off wearing it as a belt that one time I was in the outback.

I'm sorry, dude. :( I've had that happen to me, but that was only when I had a few hundred songs. I don't know if you do this yourself but I keep them all on a separate hard drive (external HDD) in case that ever happens. Do you at least know the songs you've gotta reacquire?

Kitty shouldn't have been out there in the first place.

Of course, theyre all located in my music folder. Its just going to be a pain to sort through it all.
I can deal with it, but i still shed a tear when it happened due to 3 years of careful preservation being ruined.
Well my day just got a lot better thanks to this http://teamlupin.tumblr.com/post/39793086839/tardishobo-ceshira-samapitongzabala-so
I've been tossing and turning for over two hours from stomach cramps… I feel so bad and so tired and just want to sleep but I can't T____T sniffs

…? You okay there?
I think I overdid it with the amount of rum I had last night as my throat feels like crap.
Also, testing to see how this looks on these boards:

Wow, that's quite admirable. Usually these encounters end with both the animal and the driver injured, or the animal killed etc. so you should be proud to have evaded it~
I was really productive yesterday after 7pm, which is very odd in itself. And I convinced my mom to order a pizza. We never order pizza for some odd reason.
Kitty shouldn't have been out there in the first place.
BREAKING NEWS STORY: zachri is contagious
I REPEAT
ZACHRI IS CONTAGIOUS

if im going to step out of this alter ego a second and say….honestly no, I'm trying to cook a full roast for ten people while babysit two hyper kids, as well as clean and somehow be social. Also the meats taking much longer than the rest meaning I'm going to have to reheat all the veg and whatnot which is a real big pet hate for me. Two more minutes of relaxation before the pressure is piled back on!
What ?

Helps me all the time with stress
The people at the shop realy get on my nerves. Everyone else ties their dogs in this lobby place infront of the shop, even the woman who came in in front of me and I'm the only one to whom they tell I have to tie my dog somewhere else or they'll call the police.
And need I remind you gentlemen, I have a (mixed) irish wheaten terrier, not a godamn attack dog.
have you tried asking them "what's with the discrimination against my dog?", or are they people who you can't speak back to?
I really don't like hospitals.
Today is great. Lockout is ovuh. I'm so stoked that the NHL is back. Shame it's gonna be such a short season, but it's been so nice seeing everyone's excitement.

Should we get to making that thread now or do we want to wait until next fall? :P
Im on a low carb diet atm and today was refeed day.
