Shima skips most of the cooking rounds after spending chapters only introducing characters and people complain but: "It's fine since we have the cooking battles and those are most important I don't really get why people are complaining."
Shima decides to scrap the first cooking battle in place of more fighting and people complain but:"Jeez guys whine only when this ends, you don't know what's going to happen!"
It's just like the last arc all over again, and we all know how that went.
Just a classic case of Cognitive Dissonance lol.
"I love Toriko, but Shima is rushing too much… well, maybe... maybe it's because he's planning on doing awesome cooking matches in the festival! Yeah, that must be it."
Then:
"Ahh... no awesome cooking matches... I love Toriko but Shima is rushing this arc again... I suppose he just wants to get to those awesome fights against the Bishokukai! Yeah, that's probably it! Shima is awesome!"
