This is a little pre-emptive, but who would you guys have winning a falcons/seahawks matchup?
16 chars of Falcons. Falcons are such a clutch team

I have to say Fisher did a great job of improving the Rams over the last year. I mean seriously he really did improved them a lot, I can see in the next year or so to be great. They did pretty well in the NFC West, they almost went undefeated in the division, if they didn't lost to the Seahawks yesterday. Right now, the Rams are just missing a couple pieces before they can be great.
Adios Norv, AJ, you won't be missed.
I think we ALL saw this one coming…
Andy Reid has finally been let loose
Today, seven head coaches and five general managers knelt under the guillotine and met their fate. And there are still a few more that may get the axe.
Change is a comin'.
Some people are floating Bruce Arians for SD Coach. I'm okay with that.
I'd be okay with Arians, but my ideal hiring would be Chip Kelly, but that's not likely… :/
First game starts in 3 hours, bunch of Texans fans here so I hope you guys enjoy the game.
Cincinnati @ Houston
Minnesota @ Green Bay
Indianapolis @ Baltimore
Seattle @ Washington
Since the Bears GM wants an offensive minded coach, he should try and hire Chip Kelly.

You really think the Vikings will win again?
I don't bet against AP.
I don't bet against AP.
Christain Ponder is ruled out which makes things even tougher for AP.
Well it also means he'll get the ball more, but it's true I wouldn't have picked them if I knew Webb was the one starting, guess we'll see.
Big day tomorrow for the Maryland Area.
In the Southern region we have the Redskins game in Landover, MD.
A little to the North we have Colts playing at Baltimore against the Ravens.
Two playoff games.. one state!
At first I thought "hmm Joe Webb, that might confuse the Packers and give us a slight advantage" due to his ability to scramble.
Then I saw his first pass attempt and lost all hope in the game.
Eh. As a Washingtonian I have a bitter feeling about both of today's games. I mean Flacco's been having a rough time these past 6 games and RG3's technically still hurt and can't run as effectively. I'm not saying that victory is futile, but I'm not keeping my hopes too high.

LOL
And this is why QBs running the ball shouldn't inspire a new trend in QBs! Sure it looks cool and it does indeed add some confusion for the D-fense, but as we all saw in tonight's game, running the ball isn't enough. AP can't do it all himself.
(Same goes with the skins. Alfred Morris run game isn't gonna be as reliable tomorrow vs Seattle. RG3 better be up for passing)
Aaron Rodgers on the other hand showed that focusing on passing the ball is always the best bet. Rodgers may get sacked a lot, but he still manages to pull off those 20 yard passes in till a touchdown is born.
Well, Houston/Cincinnati was disappointing. Houston's defense plus Cincy's O-Line never gave Dalton or Green-Ellis a chance.
And Minnesota without Ponder was more one-dimensional than I thought.
@ 1PceXperience: The one difference between Joe Webb and RGIII is that RGIII is accurate and can pass. But I still think Seattle's defense is just too much to deal with.

I agree. The skins are basically playing their mirror selves… but with a greater defense.
Joe did his thing against the Giants last week. I hope that's the Joe we see tommorow

Yep, there's no denying that RG3 is a legit QB, but lately I feel that they've relied too much on their run game. The Seahawks won't be having any of that!

That was two weeks ago (my time) and I think it was moreso thanks to Eli's downhill performance that brought down the Giants. After all that Bengals game was a good example of two arguably equally powered division rivals who looked like they could end the season with a bang and go to the playoffs, and you saw what happened to the Bengals today. Even though Luck is a rookie, he is no pushover as he demonstrated throughout the season. So unless Flacco toughens up and Ray Rice can keep his feet on the ground, this game could prove ugly.
As for the RG case, the WR need to be able to catch balls if we're going to rely on passing game. Often they seem to have a hard time doing that.

Eli's poor performance did help in the way the game turned out, but nonetheless, Joe still had a good game!
Out of 36 Passing Attempts he made 25 completions (not perfect or even near it, but that's still pretty decent). He also got two touchdown passes. Like I said, he wasn't "on fire", but he was definitely having a good game. Joe needs to come with at least that much in the game against the Colts.

YES!! Thank YOu!!
The Skins have too many butter finger moments! There were a lot of dead drives that could had been converted to first downs had the receivers only had caught and held onto the dang ball!
Doesn't matter how great of a QB you have if no one is there to make the catch.

The defense can be argued, because both are rather inconsistent. That said, I think it's going to come down to coaching, and as someone who had to deal with him when he worked for Denver, I have to go with Mike Shanahan. He'll know exactly what to do. It'll be a hard fought game, but the Skins can pull this out. Especially with home-field advantage. We're leaving early in the morning to get there. Shit's gonna be crazy.

Wait. Wait wait wait. Are we devaluing Moss and Garcon now? Not a smart move. You know Seattle's D has been gameplanning for them (especially Garcon) both are legitimate threats who will be open and ready to make the big plays if the Seahawks slip on D or focus to much on the run.
@Nex:

Not a smart move?
Look, both Moss and Garcon have done great things, but these past games they've both been performance has been lackluster.
Garcon only got 3 receptions in the game against the Cowboys.
Moss is even worse. In the Cowboys game he only got 2 receptions (which was 22 yards altogether). In the game before that with the Eagles, Moss also only had 2 receptions (time time with 26 yards).
When you combine the stats from both of these players based on these two games they've achieved only 1 touchdown (Moss in the Eagles game, Garcon didn't receive a touchdown).
This goes back to my point that the Skins main arsenal is the run game, not the passing game. I've witnessed the Skin's receivers dropping the ball even when there's no one there covering them. The Skins cannot afford to have butter fingers, because the run game won't work all time. Especially against a defense that is preparing for it!
It would make sense if Seattle tries to force Washington to play through the air. Sherman will be on one of two major receivers, the run defense should hold Morris marginally. All that's left is try to beat the remaining linebackers, safeties and cornerbacks through the air. Not undefeatable, and Washington has the tools to do it, but Houston did the same thing to Cincy today, had Green and Green-Ellis completely taken out of the game, put pressure on Dalton, and bam! No offense. I can see the gameplans being similar. Add that Seattle can actually score, unlike Houston right now…
Welp, once again Next week we'll have to get our act together and play like we did at the beginning of the season. I wont hold my breath, but, just maybe if we actually turn our FG's in to TD's, we might actually have a chance and pull out a W next Sunday. Which apparently is a given win for the Pats so says every NE fan and Football analyst.
Also, if we could like you know, not have any penalties, and Kubiak actually plays with a coaching mindset off 2013 instead 1975, I'd be thankful for just that too. But hey, maybe I'm asking for too much there.
Not a smart move?

Yes, in a game where RG3 only had to throw 18 times, they accounted for over half of his completions, and 68 out of his 100 total yards. When the running game puts up 263 yards (on 39 carries) there's no need for an amazing passing game, but now you're talking as if the Redskins don't have one.
Let's not forget that Griffin has thrown for 20TDS and 3,200 yards this season, in 14 complete games no less.
And you had better not forget that the Redskins season turned around the minute Garcon came back and RG3 got his number 1 receiver. Now that Ds had to worry about the League's #1 rushing attack, a good receiver (Moss) and a great one (Garcon) the offense could not be stopped.
Since you mentioned this reason game against the Cowboy's I'd point to the eariler one against them on Thanksgiving as an example of the other side of the spectrum, when the passing attack dominated the game; when RG3, in just 19 completions, through for 304 yards and 4 TDs.
If it where that easy to stop the Redskins, they wouldn't be in the Playoffs right now. They wouldn't have won 7 straight to cap the season and win their first diviosion title since 1999.
Now, I'm not saying the Redskins are the best team in the league, but I am saying they can beat the Seahawks. And I'm also saying that they'll be in the Superbowl 2 seasons from now, but we'll get to that later.
Anyway, we're at the staiduim tailgating, so I'll check in after the Redskins (hopefully) win!
Well the officiating in this game sucks already.
Ray's last hurrah in Baltimore. Other than the bobbled pick, it was a wonderful sight to behold.
Seattle is about to light the state of Maryland on fire….gl Skins
Now now, only half of the state.
Good job Ravens.
Skins… it's time to prove me wrong
UPDATE: TD within for five minutes, eh? I see you skins.. I see you.
Good job Ravens.
Skins… it's time to prove me wrong
How bout that Garcon, passing, and rushing game?
He'll of an opening drive this place is going insane! Great early statement!
Get it Skins!

LOL your name popped in my head when he made that catch.
I gotta hand it to the Skins. So far they're looking Nasty. But can they keep it up?
Also, it looks like Cousins may have to step in!
2 TDs and 2nd quarter barely started. All of my wat.
Wilson seems to have gotten into the groove. I expect an even match here on out
UPDATE: Coming out in the third Quarter: The Seahawks are showing that they're the better team in this game.
UPDATE #2: It's time to get RG3 out. Put Cousins in
UPDATE #3: Seahawks got another touchdown. I know it's not over yet, but with the way the Skins' offense is playing, I'd say that's this game is going to the Seahawks
Lets go seahawks. making a comeback

I think RG III pushed it way to hard this game
I may never be a skins fan, but mad respect to RG3. Mad Respect!
I know one day, he and Morris we'll take the Skins to the bowl.
I can't see the skins winning this now that the Hawks just gained possession of the ball.
Damn, i'm kinda sad how this ended
UPDATE: GOOD SHIT SKIN'S DEFENSE! They still got the extra 3, but that's WAY better then letting them get a TD
I'm sure they showed it on TV, but damn, the atmosphere when RG3 finally went down was intense. You could tell everyone was thinking the same thing: 'there goes the game.' But credit to Skin fans: while disappointed, you could tell everyone was happy that the Skins were playing, and they're all excited for next season. As am I. The Skins are already a threat, they shore up their D, they're dangerous.
Post more thoughts when I get home.
I hate sherman, he's the biggest ass i've ever seen in the NFL. He mocks the fans and shanahan. He's been acting like a child since he got in the league. One day he's going to get taken out. Not everyone is going to take his shit. After the game lol
I don't feel like getting into any analysis on whose gonna face who, but instead I'll name who I would like to see play
Superbowl: Ravens vs Falcons
I'm just glad that RGIII actually walked off the field. Hopefully the injury isn't bad.
Superbowl: I'm one for Baltimore vs Atlanta or Denver vs Green Bay
this weekend will be ridiculous.

Aaron Rodgers has been on his A game, consistently.
And if the Packers Defense can put a halt on AP like they did last week, they can do the same against the 49ers run game.
